Calling emergency services from a mobile phone for different Russian operators

Not everyone understands how to dial the usual combination of numbers 02 from cell phones if they do not support such combinations. You can find the following information:

  1. To call intelligence officers from a mobile device, you can use special numbers. Using the combination 112, press the call button and wait for instructions from the answering machine.
  2. An emergency call can be made by dialing the two-digit combination assigned to your mobile operator.
  3. In all situations where a quick response is required, you can call for help by dialing 112. This is a single number that is suitable for all telecom operators. You can make calls even in cases where the SIM card is blocked or is not in the smartphone. There is no charge for the service.

When a connection to the service occurs, an answering machine is triggered. He will speak a message in two languages - English and Russian, listing how you can connect to different services. If no key is pressed while reading the message, it is repeated, then the call is forwarded to the multi-channel single number 112.

Single number

Previously, in order to call an ambulance or the police from a Beeline mobile phone, you could not dial 03 or 02, like from a regular phone, but you had to connect through the operator’s emergency service. After the transition to three-digit short numbers, the previous format became unavailable for dialing from landline phones, but you can now make an emergency call from a mobile phone.

In most countries of the world, a single number 112 is used to contact emergency services. The adoption of this norm was initiated by Sweden, after which it was approved by the Council of Europe in 1991. The main goal of adopting a single standard was that a person in trouble in any country in the world can seek help using a familiar number.

The exception is some countries where the main communication standard is not GSM. For example, in the USA and Canada, the frequencies on which most cell phones operate differ from European standards. In these countries, 911 is used to contact emergency services.

The important point is that dialing 112 does not even require the use of a SIM card in the telephone. This number can be dialed from any GSM device without a SIM card. Along with a single number, local dialing formats are also used in parallel in different countries of the world to call doctors or police, as well as other emergency services.

In Russia, a single number by which you can call emergency services was adopted only in 2008. And in 2013, by federal decree, it was approved as a single one for emergency services.

Now, to contact emergency services, any Beeline subscriber just needs to dial the single number 112 to call the rescue service, or make a call from their cell phone to an ambulance, police, or fire department.

We call gas workers from a cell phone

If you discover a gas leak in your home, you must immediately call emergency services to notify the dispatcher. Or call the emergency service directly at the number corresponding to your provider:

  • MegaFon clients can call 040.
  • MTS subscribers have access to the number 040.
  • For Beeline clients, telephone number 004 is available.
  • Tele2 subscribers should call 040.

Here, too, one more zero is simply added, and the base number is easy to remember - it’s an ordinary 04.

Numbers for calling an ambulance from Tele2

The familiar number 03 is still valid. It is universal for all Russian telecom operators. It is also used to call an ambulance from both a mobile phone and a landline, so problems may arise with quick dialing. If an ambulance will be called from a Tele2 mobile phone, then it is better to use the following short commands:

  • 030 - quick dialing from any mobile device;
  • 03* - the second version of a short phone for smartphones;
  • 103 - call an ambulance in any region of the Russian Federation with Tele2 (the number should be entered in the phone book so that, if necessary, you do not have to remember the combination of numbers).

For some time now, the ambulance number 103 has been universal for all telecom operators. The decision on the need to use a fixed set of numbers was made by the Ministry of Communications. A constant number simplifies the procedure for subscribers to call medical help, especially when the same person uses the services of both Tele2 and another telecom operator. General 103 for ambulance eliminates the need to remember which SIM card the call is made from and which set of numbers needs to be used.

Important! If there are no other telephones, and the subscriber uses only Tele2 services, it is wise to add all important telephone numbers to the contact list. They can be found on the official website of the telecommunications company.

How to call 01 02 03 from a Beeline mobile

Currently, the old numbers are not valid in the Russian Federation. The list of emergency services includes six units: fire and ambulance services, police, emergency gas service, emergency response service and anti-terrorist service.

After changing the principles of dialing numbers, many Beeline subscribers wondered how to call an ambulance or the police from a mobile phone? In Russia, as in most states of the former Soviet country, the transition to new numbering was made taking into account the convenience for citizens. A unit is added to the numbers familiar to most people at the beginning:

  • 101 - fire service from a Beeline cell phone;
  • 102 - police number from a Beeline cell phone;
  • 103 - ambulance from Beeline cell phone;
  • 104 - emergency gas service from Beeline number.

The new numbers are valid throughout the country, regardless of the subscriber’s region of residence and the area where the number is connected. Even if you are in national roaming, you can simply dial the required three-digit number without additional prefixes in order to contact emergency services in any situation.

To the fire department

If, God forbid, you have a fire and you don’t know how to call firefighters from your mobile phone, then it’s best to use the single 112 , because you should know it, or call the number that is located below opposite your operator cellular communications. The call will be free.

A fire is a terrible thing that requires an immediate emergency call. If you don’t know how to call the fire department from a cell phone, call 112. Well, the number for Tele2 to call in case of an emergency is 010 (101) .

We all know "01" which we have always been asked to remember. Tele2 offers us almost the same one, so that we don’t forget it in a difficult situation.

Call rules

When communicating with the dispatcher, you should inform the following:

  1. The address where the fire or fire occurred.
  2. Identify the object that caught fire: a residential building, a warehouse or office space, a gas station, etc.
  3. Find out what exactly caught fire: the roof, a household appliance, gas equipment, etc.
  4. Say the necessary clarifying points, in particular, on which floor the fire occurred and what the number of floors of the entire building is, the entrance number, how it will be more convenient for firefighters to approach the building, and others.
  5. At the request of the dispatcher, specify your own last and first name, as well as telephone number.

The dialogue should be conducted slowly, but quite clearly. Immediately after you have provided the address where the fire occurred, the fire truck immediately leaves, and all additional information provided by you will be transmitted to the firefighters via radio.

After the conversation with the operator is completed, you should leave the house and stay next to it until the fire brigade arrives, who will then need to show the easiest way to enter the burning object.

A few points about calling emergency services.

The more competent your message is, the faster specialists will come to you.

First of all, you should report what happened - the more briefly and succinctly, the better. If there are victims, talk about it immediately after this.

If there are more than three victims (this is important for the ambulance service), say so. For example: “Traffic accident. There are many victims, more than three."

For example, we call an ambulance. The dispatcher will introduce himself: “Hello, Ambulance.” Then he is primarily interested in (in this order):

  • gender (male, female) or number of victims;
  • age (approximately);
  • what happened: briefly - traffic accident, unconscious, etc.
  • address: street, house, building, entrance, floor, apartment number, entrance code or intercom (this will also speed up the arrival of the team to you).

When calling any emergency service, the address must be as accurate as possible. If necessary, provide directions on how to get to you. If the car cannot drive to the emergency site itself or it is difficult to find, inform where and who will meet the specialists. And, accordingly, you must definitely meet the brigade.

Leave your phone number. The team may have clarifications as they move towards you. This is especially important if you are not at home, but somewhere on the road or in a place unfamiliar to you.

Tell the dispatcher who is calling the emergency team: a passer-by, a relative, a neighbor, etc.

We hang up only after the dispatcher hangs up!

And finally: do not neglect the advice that you can get from the dispatcher. In simple cases, the situation can be safely resolved using the advice of specialists - and in dispatch services, it is specialists with considerable experience who answer calls.

How to call from a mobile MTS to short rescue numbers

Calling two-digit numbers 01, 02, 03, 04 will not work not only from a mobile MTS, but also from a regular landline number. After the introduction of the new short number dialing system, emergency services were also transferred to single three-digit numbers.

This in no way complicates the call, but, on the contrary, makes the system more convenient. Today there is no need to remember separate numbers for cell and landline phones. The same dialing rules are used for any of them. It is enough to remember the new numbering system and use it in an emergency, without thinking about which phone number is used to call.

The convenience of the new system lies in the fact that the numbers have not changed dramatically, but simply added a unit at the beginning of the usual numbers. So, to call an ambulance from an MTS mobile phone, instead of 03, you just need to dial 103. The rest of the telephone numbers of rescue and assistance services have been similarly changed - calling the police from an MTS cell phone and a landline phone, calling the fire department, or the gas service.

In what cases you won’t be able to call the police and what to do if the number doesn’t work

Those who know the emergency number well are not always able to get through and call the police. The reasons may be:

  1. The operator does not provide this service in full. When calling, this number will be busy for the subscriber.
  2. The call is made using the services of a third party. The speed at which information is received changes.
  3. It will not be possible to call the police if the employee who answers the phone is not particularly familiar with the city. In this case, it is difficult for him to determine the point where the person calling is located.

If the usual combination for calling the police does not work, you should change tactics. All calls are received by operators, who forward the received information to the duty station of the area where the incident occurred. To quickly receive a response from the dispatcher, contact the district city office immediately. To do this, press 0 on your smartphone keyboard, then dial the area code and service number.

To get through and get help, it is better to immediately dial the area’s emergency number. It is recommended to save such combinations in the phone book.

  3. Also, from a mobile phone or landline phone, you can try to contact the duty station of the district where the event about which you are contacting the police occurred.

To get communication services for free, you need to remember or write down the options for different operators:

  1. To call from a Beeline number, dial the combination 102 on the keypad.
  2. Megafon subscribers can make a call by dialing 020 or 02.
  3. From the Tele2 tariff, combinations 102 or 020 are used to call the police.
  4. Those who use the services of the MTS operator need to dial 102.

These combinations are valid both in Russia and abroad. There is no payment required for this communication service.
