Mobile Internet is actively developing, mobile operators are developing 3G and 4G networks, through which the Internet operates at very, very high speeds, allowing you to download very large volumes of traffic in a relatively short time.
However, there are also pitfalls that arise when trying to take advantage of all these opportunities. We are talking about attempts to download torrent distributions, the speed of which turns out to be surprisingly catastrophically low. Why this happens and what to do about it – we’ll look at it in detail in this material.
Bypass torrent restrictions for any mobile operator

When starting, I selected a VPN server from Russia and that’s it, nothing else is required. The program itself will connect to the optimal server and encrypt your traffic. On the left, the program shows how much was downloaded, and on the right, how much was transferred through the connection. As mentioned above, the traffic is analyzed by the operator and if “packets” typical for a torrent are detected, the operator “cuts” their speed.
Download torrents on Tele2 using the application and additional program
Due to the fact that the operator sets restrictions on torrents, you cannot simply download such files. Bypass the block using additional applications. The procedure will be as follows:
- Install a special application on your device, for example, Betternet.
- Open the program by clicking on its icon on the phone screen.
- Click on the “Connect” button.
- Confirm your connection in the pop-up window.
- If necessary, register.
- After that, open any browser and download torrents.
If you use Tele2 Internet via a modem, then install a special program. The procedure will be as follows:
- Download the AdvOR program to your PC.
- After installation, launch it by clicking on the appropriate icon.
- As in the previous case, click the “Connect” button, which is located at the bottom of the menu on the left side.
- A new window will appear. It will not close when opening programs.
- Launch uTorrent and aim at the file you want to download.
- If it lights up, release the mouse button.
- In the window that appears, click on the “Intercept” item.
- The download of the selected torrent will begin.

How to speed up a torrent
Manufacturer support for the Vidalia program stopped a long time ago, but the latest official version 0.2.4.23 (03/02/2016) is quite suitable as reliable protection against the arbitrariness of Internet providers.
So, download the program from the link at the end of the review and install it on the Windows operating system...
As you can see, I immediately disabled Vidalia autoload when I started the computer and refused to install the documentation (I absolutely don’t need it, like most users).
You need to install both components - the Vidalia program itself and Tor (without it the server will not take off).
During the first and all subsequent launches of this program, there will be a slight delay while the computer connects to the anonymous Tor network...
After the status has stabilized, go to “Settings”...

...which we set in the connection settings of our torrent client...
Note! We set the port to 9050, through which the proxy server works, and not 9051, which is used only to manage Tor (ControlPort).
Be sure to check the following boxes:

Don’t forget to click the “Apply” button after all manipulations.
Now, provided that the provider was previously noticed in limiting the speed for the BitTorrent protocol and chose to download a torrent with a sufficient number of distributors, as well as a small number of downloaders, you will notice a significant acceleration in its downloading to the computer (see the video at the end of the review).
In other cases, it will not be possible to speed up the torrent - you need to understand this, and not be indignant in the comments.
