One of the provider’s most popular tariffs is a product where you are allowed to use the Internet without restrictions and communicate within your home network without using up your package. Despite its popularity, from time to time people want to give it up. The reason for deactivation is often one of two options: a person wants to switch to a more favorable tariff or does not know how to refuse additional options that are built into this tariff plan. “Unlimited” on Tele2 can be turned off remotely and during a personal visit to the provider’s office.
Tele2: unlimited calls within the network
Tele2 has unlimited calls within the network - this is a function that will greatly save your finances and allow you to enjoy communication with friends and loved ones completely free of charge, if, of course, they also use the services of this telecom operator.
By the way, on many tariffs the service is already activated and its cost is included in the subscription fee. How can you find out if this option is activated on your number and, if not, how to enable it? Our article will tell you about this. The service is not available for connection separately from the specified tariffs.
What is the subscription fee for users in Russian regions?
The cost of monthly use of the package depends on the user’s home region, i.e. depending on the region of the Russian Federation where the SIM card was purchased. As of the end of 2021, the following rates apply:
- for the capital and Moscow region - 650 rubles;
- for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region – 510 rubles;
- for the Sakhalin region – 600 rubles;
- for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug - 450 rubles;
- for the Smolensk region – 450 rubles;
- for the Tula region – 500 rubles;
- for the Altai Territory – 550 rubles. etc.
You can find out the exact cost of services on the company’s official portal at tele2.ru/option/unlimited-within-tele2. The site automatically determines in which region the user is located and indicates the current cost for him.
Important ! If you plan to purchase a SIM card for use in another constituent entity of the Russian Federation, just change the location in the settings.
What's wrong with the “Classic” tariff from Tele2
There are situations when you need to keep your phone number, you don’t want to pay a subscription fee, but you can’t or don’t see the point in switching to another operator. I have such a number and I use it exclusively for linking to various accounts, bank cards, etc.
In order not to pay a subscription fee, I switched to the “Classic” tariff from Tele2. In principle, everything suited me for some time. Until they started debiting money from my account.
Why is this happening? It is very unprofitable for operators to have subscribers on tariffs without a subscription fee. Therefore, they are trying their best to hide their existence from users. Or if it doesn’t work out, get some money from them. And all because of banal inattention and the silence of the communication store employees of all the conditions that you sign up for when switching to the tariff.
Usually all the necessary information is indicated at the office. operator's website. But even in this case, important details can be missed. This happened to me too. The first pitfall that most subscribers who switch to the “Classic” tariff will encounter is.
When you switch to a tariff, you are automatically connected to a temporarily free account. Temporarily because it will be free for exactly the first 30 days. After this period expires, 50 kopecks will be debited from the balance daily. Can be disabled with the command: *155*330#
The next point is unlimited calls to Tele2 in your home region. Operators provide unlimited within the network on tariffs with a subscription fee, but not this time. “Unlimited on Tele2” is a separate connected service. It costs 5 rubles a day. The first connection is free, subsequent ones also cost 5 rubles. You can disable it with the command: *155*411*0#
Next is the Internet. I haven’t encountered this, since I have internet and calls on a different SIM card, but it’s worth telling about it. The tariff has a service of 10 MB of Internet per day. It costs 15 rubles per day.
Using it can result in much more than 15 rubles being debited from your account. If you use 20 or more megabytes, you will automatically be connected to a 1 GB traffic package for 6 rubles per day. If you managed to spend this package too. You can be connected to up to 5 traffic packages of 500 MB in succession for 50 rubles each.
Such a small mistake can lead to the loss of an impressive amount of money. Naturally, the rest of the traffic will not be carried over to the next month.
Here is a list of all services that should be disabled after switching to the “Classic” tariff
- Unlimited Internet abroad: *143*70#
- Internet on the peninsula: *143*50#
- Unlimited on Tele2: *155*411*0#
- 1 GB package: *155*550#
- Who called: *155*330#
Also, if you are interested, I will leave a link to an article about what problems I had with the Tele2 operator. And why do I think he is a bad operator. Thanks for reading. Link

When is internet consumed on social networks?
Scenarios for traffic consumption in social networks and instant messengers in order of increasing volume:
- sending and receiving text messages;
- viewing pages and user accounts;
- sending and receiving voice messages;
- viewing and downloading images;
- listening to music;
- watching videos and live broadcasts.
When the unlimited option is active, all of the above actions do not affect the reduction of traffic in the main package. Now about the functions that consume the Internet even when connected:
- uploading content via external links (for example, to a news site or a YouTube video);
- using a proxy server and traffic compression options;
- communication via voice or video (not to be confused with voice messages and live broadcasts);
- when located in the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol or Norilsk.
"Mobile Unlimited"
from Tele2 allows network subscribers to talk with fellow countrymen with virtually no time restrictions. The cost of such a service is 1.5 rubles. Money is written off automatically every day from the main balance.
Among the main conditions are:
- Every day, network users receive 120 minutes to communicate with Tele2 clients in their region.
- When you connect for the first time, the fee is not charged; all subsequent ones require 15 rubles.
- The option can only work on the “Pink 02_2016” tariff plan.
Connecting and disabling the option is carried out according to the standard scheme, using similar methods as those used for. Among the main combinations:
- To activate on a mobile phone, simply enter the request *155*41#.
- To disable the service, use the combination 155*40#.
- You can check the service status using the command 155*4#.
You can read more about the description and conditions of the option on the official website or call the operator at 611.
Terms and prices
allows subscribers to receive unlimited calls in their home region for a fixed fee. The cost of using the option is 5 rubles per day. The fee is debited automatically from the main balance. When you connect for the first time, the fee is not charged, the second and subsequent activations are paid, amounting to 5 rubles.
The service can be used on the “Classic” tariff and only within your home region. Outside of it, the standard tariff schedule is activated according to the active plan.
“Unlimited on Tele2” cannot work in conjunction with other options that provide benefits for calls within the network. If a subscriber changes a tariff plan with which the service cannot work, the unlimited service is disabled.
If there are not enough funds on the balance to write off the mandatory fee, the option is temporarily suspended. After replenishing the balance, preferential conditions are activated automatically.
Connecting the “Unlimited” option from Tele2
Operator Tele2 managed to win respect and recognition among many Russian subscribers in a short time. High quality communications, competitive rates and unlimited support in difficult technical situations are exactly what attracts people. “Unlimited” appeared on Tele2 recently. Many users believe that with its help the provider is trying to further enrich themselves, so they consciously refuse such services.
Practice shows that Unlim from Tele2 is an excellent alternative to limited tariffs, on which subscribers spend hundreds of rubles. You just need to carefully analyze all the available offers and then make the right choice.
Limitations in the “Unlimited” tariff
Unlimited Internet with unlimited access to the World Wide Web cannot but have restrictions:
- Internet speed noticeably decreases when using file-sharing resources and torrents;
- A SIM card with this tariff is adapted exclusively for tablet computers and smartphones. It will not be possible to distribute traffic via USB and Wi-FI when using the device as a modem;
- there are speed limits for certain regions of the Russian Federation - for the Taimyr MR and Norilsk the limit is set at 128 Kbit/second;
- if a subscriber creates a significant load on the operator's network, the speed may also be reduced. For example, when watching a video on YouTube, the service provider can significantly reduce the speed of access to the Internet, which will certainly affect the user’s comfort;
- Basic packages are not valid in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. For Crimea, there is a universal charge for calls, megabytes of Internet and messages in the amount of 3 rubles. Incoming calls within the peninsula are charged at 1 ruble/minute.
For some potential subscribers, the above restrictions are critical, as they impede the free use of services in the region. Choose a tariff based on geographic location.
How to connect
If you want to connect “Unlimited” to Tele2, then you need to use one of the proposed methods for changing the tariff, namely:
- Personal account – smartphone application;
- Internet account;
- system codes;
- assistance from employees in the Tele2 store chain.
The first two methods are the most preferable, as they allow you to view and change available tariffs in real time. The developers have done everything possible to make the process of managing a package plan and additional services as easy as possible.
The likelihood of any error is minimized, since there is a detailed description of each service and tariff schedule. Practice shows that even those subscribers who are not well versed in information technology can easily manage their subscriber account and tariffs with the Tele2 operator.
Of course, you can connect to “Unlimited” using technical codes. So, for example, you should use:
- unlimited calls to subscribers: *155*411*1#;
- additional Internet traffic: *155*211#.
Unfortunately, the Internet without any restrictions is available only to those who use corporate tariffs. Their connection is also possible for ordinary subscribers, but this will require several additional steps.
Cancellation of mobile Internet on the My Tele2 tariff
If you have the “My Tele 2” tariff, disconnecting the Internet on this tariff is no fundamentally different from disconnecting on other tariffs. To turn off the Internet, dial the USSD command *155*150# and press the call button. Afterwards the Internet will be disconnected. If you have any Internet options, then to disable them, see the reminder above.
How to disable the option
Disabling various additional services is also a fairly simplified process, just like the one that is performed in order to activate “Unlimited” on Tele2. First of all, it is recommended to use your Personal Account, since this is where you can do everything as quickly and conveniently as possible. In addition, there will be no need to check the status using system commands in the “*155” format that are executed to activate the service.
However, Tele2 “Unlimited” can also be disabled using USSD codes:
If you are not sure that the procedure was carried out properly, you should seek advice from the operator's representatives. Their sales points are located throughout the country, so there should be no difficulties in solving this problem.
Unlimited services from the Tele2 operator are available to absolutely every user. Before connecting, you should carefully analyze how the services are used, and then make an informed decision about connecting to unlimited tariffs. The savings can be significant.
Bitter conclusion
Let’s draw conclusions about what the bottom line is for the submitted cellular communication offer, for whom it is still intended and why it should not be bought by everyone.
Tele2 has excluded the subscription fee from the Classic tariff and determining its cost per month is quite an interesting matter, but if we know the price of one minute, which is 1.95 rubles, then if on average we talk for 20 minutes a day, the cost of the tariff will cost per month 1170 rubles for 600 minutes of conversation. Similarly, you can calculate based on your mobile communications expenses. Nevertheless, given this calculation, communication is quite expensive, if compared at least with the “My Online Plus” tariff, where for 700 rubles you will get 800 minutes, plus 30 GB of Internet.
In addition to everything, calls are paid to all operator numbers, including Tele2, but if you want to call within the network for free, you will have to pay 5 rubles per day, and this service is already enabled by default. In total, although there is no subscription fee, you will spend 150 rubles per month for this option. To prevent this from happening, you will have to disable the service, and for one, which will cost you 15 rubles per month. We described how to do this above.
As for the Internet, this is a clear robbery (10 MB for 19.5 rubles), and if you, say, delete 1 GB, you will pay about 2,000 rubles.
There’s probably no point in talking about the rest, I’m talking about calls abroad and so on, and summing up I would still like to highlight one plus. Although the Classic tariff is expensive, its only advantage is that there is no monthly fee. That is, you do not need to spend a fixed amount of money every month, just put a couple of hundred and use the phone when necessary. It turns out that this tariff is not for everyone, but for those who make few calls and generally use mobile communications. Although who am I lying to, it’s better to take “My Conversation” for 200 rubles, where 200 minutes with 2 GB of Internet are included, and those same 600 minutes will cost you half as much, and not 1170, as I roughly calculated above. 200 rubles a month is not a lot of money, but it will be more reasonable.
