Tele2: How to transfer Gigabytes and Minutes to another number or friend, how to extend Internet resources and Tele2 minutes

Connecting and reconnecting a tariff

The “Turn on to the full” tariff from Tele2 is archived and connection to it is closed. It is valid only for those who have already switched to it previously.

The tariff plan includes a reconnection service. You may need it if you have used up the provided packages too quickly within a month, and you still have a long wait until the next debit.

The reconnection itself will be free, but it will only work if you have on your balance an amount corresponding to your subscription fee, that is, 1890 tenge.

The USSD command for early replenishment of packages allows you to reconnect the Tele2 “Turn on to the full” tariff: *121*#.

To check the remaining traffic and not be taken by surprise, use the command *123*1*3#. After entering it, you will receive an SMS message with the remaining minutes, SMS, megabytes, and the validity period of the packages.

A way for anyone

This service is suitable for you, even if you do not know what tariff you have/what option through which you receive Internet from Tele2. The minimum you need is:

  • Dial a simple command from your mobile device: *155*0#.
  • Click on the call icon to confirm your actions.
  • Wait for the answer to come.

You will receive a message shortly with detailed information about the remaining traffic. As you can see, there is nothing difficult in checking the remaining Internet! And most importantly: this method is applicable in all cases, with any traffic and additional options.

How to make calls while roaming

To make a call and send SMS while roaming, you need to dial the subscriber's mobile number in international format in the following sequence: +, country code, operator code and subscriber number, and press the call button.

For example, to make a call to a subscriber of the mobile operator lifecell in Ukraine, you need to perform the following sequence of actions:

+380 63 1041041, where: +380 – country code, 063 – mobile operator code, 1041041 – subscriber number.

For example, to call a landline number in Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova:

+373 22 2042042, where +373 is the country code, 22 is the Chisinau code, 2042042 is the subscriber’s city telephone number.

Basic Internet settings

Most users buy a SIM card with the Internet already configured. If you purchased a SIM card and the company representative did not set up the Internet, then you need to perform the following steps:

  • send an empty SMS to number 800;
  • after which the Internet will be configured automatically.

You can also configure the Internet manually; to do this, you need to set the following parameters:

  • access point (APN): internet.tele2.kz;
  • login and password do not matter;
  • the rest of the fields are usually filled in automatically.

If you are unable to configure the Internet, then it is best to call your operator and he will help you do it.

How much does it cost and what does it give?

Other mobile operators in the Republic of Kazakhstan have had similar offers for a long time. From December 23, 2021, Tele2 joins them, introducing a similar package of services on one tariff plan - “Change everything” for 2590 tenge.

It is activated automatically if the main monthly subscription fee is not charged and there is a balance between 130 and 2589 tenge. This will allow you to stay in touch if at the time the subscription fee is charged according to the tariff, your account has less than 2590 tenge.

Its cost is 130 tenge and is debited once a day. For this money, the subscriber receives the following volume of services:

  • Unlimited number of calls to Tele2 and Altel.
  • 5 messages on Tele2 and Altel.
  • 6 minutes for free calls to other mobile operators in Kazakhstan.
  • 750 MB of Internet traffic.
  • Unlimited use of the following Internet services: YouTube, Viber, Telegram, Facebook, Odnoklassniki, VKontakte, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, WhatsApp.

The above volume of services is charged for 1 day until 23:59 Nur-Sultan time. The fee is withdrawn once a day from 00:00 to 03:00 Nur-Sultan time if the required amount of funds is available in the account.

It is impossible to reconnect the daily package - if you have exhausted the provided volume of services, you will have to wait for the onset of a new day or top up the balance with an amount sufficient to charge the subscription fee at a rate of 2590 tenge.

Exchange minutes, SMS, GB

Subscribers can independently control the tariff conditions by exchanging call minutes for Internet traffic or SMS.

If a subscriber often uses social networks, he can completely remove SMS messages and get 17 GB of Internet and 170 minutes of calls. This way you can choose the most favorable tariff with suitable conditions.

You can exchange:

  • Gigabytes of Internet traffic.
  • SMS within the network.
  • Calls to Tele2 subscribers and other operators within Kazakhstan.

Several options for exchanging GB for minutes and SMS.
Exchange rate: 1 GB of Internet = 10 minutes of conversation with other operators in the Kazakhstan region = 50 SMS messages within the network.

What is important for subscribers to know?

The commands given in the article are relevant for subscribers in Moscow and the region. That is, it may be that for other regions the request syntax will be slightly different - this is the case not only with Tele2, but also with other cellular operators.

To find out the remaining traffic in your region, visit the official website of the mobile operator. Here you can find the relevant information in the connected services section. You can also search the site for requests specifically for your region and get the right team.

Tariff description

Tariff plan “Change Everything for 2590” from the “Change Everything” line from the Tele 2 operator in Kazakhstan. You pay 2590 tenge per month, in return receiving a package of calls, SMS messages and the Internet.

The main feature of the tariff is the ability to exchange messages and minutes for Internet traffic. The exchange takes place at the rate: 1 gigabyte of Internet = 50 messages = 10 minutes of calls. You can exchange both Internet for messages and minutes for traffic and vice versa.

When you sign up for a tariff, on the official website you can customize it for yourself: for example, leave only 90 minutes of calls, 50 SMS messages and as much as 30 gigabytes of Internet.

So, let’s figure out what is included in the tariff for 2590 tenge per month.

The monthly fee includes:

  • Unlimited calls between Tele2 and Altel subscribers;
  • 180 minutes for city calls and to numbers of other operators;
  • 20 gigabytes of Internet;
  • 100 SMS between Tele2 and Altel users;
  • — provides endless traffic to social networks, instant messengers and video hosting sites.

The monthly fee does not include:

  • Messages on the networks of other operators - 11 tenge;
  • SMS abroad - 29 tenge.

Monthly payment occurs 28 days from the date of removal of the previous subscription fee. If there are not enough funds on your balance that day, or if your packages are exhausted, the terms of the tariff change.

If the monthly fee is exceeded or not charged:

  • Calls within the network and to numbers of other operators cost 15 tenge per minute;
  • Messages - 11 tenge per piece;
  • The Internet will be temporarily disabled.

The tariff plan is valid throughout the territory of Kazakhstan. When it is changed to another, the remaining packets are reset to zero.

How to find out how much Internet is left on Tele2

Many subscribers are interested in how to find out how much traffic is left on Tele2. The mobile operator is very attentive to its customers, so it provides the opportunity to easily check the remaining traffic.

Conventionally speaking, there are two ways to find out the remaining traffic on Tele2. The first is a universal request - it can be used to check the remaining traffic for any connected option, so you don’t have to remember much, except maybe a short command. The second method is narrower and more specialized. In this case, the request is only suitable for a specific service.

Some are truly perplexed: why regularly check how many MB are left? The fact is that in Tele2 tariff plans and additional services with a subscription fee provide limited traffic, a certain amount of megabytes. Thus, the Internet speed with the main package is maximum, and then access slows down.

Using a special request, you can see the remaining traffic on your modem or phone and, accordingly, continue using the Internet or take appropriate measures.

Many people do not know, but Tele2 will allow you to find out many details about the services through your personal account on the official website and when sending a special command from the device.

There are several ways to check traffic on Tele2:

  • Through your personal account.
  • Using special commands.
  • Through the application.

The easiest way to see if there are megabytes and in what quantity is by using queries, so we’ll look at them.

Line of tariffs “Change everything”

Valid throughout the entire Republic of Kazakhstan. It includes three tariff plans with unlimited communication within the network and the ability to exchange unused minutes and SMS for gigabytes of the Internet:

  1. Change everything for 2590 ₸ - 20 GB (upgradeable to 39 GB) and unlimited social networks.
  2. Change everything for 1890 ₸ - 10 GB (with the possibility of increasing up to 19 GB) and unlimited social networks.
  3. Change everything for 1390 ₸ - 5 GB (can be increased to 11 GB).

The first two tariffs include unlimited traffic to social networks Instagram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, YouTube, and instant messengers WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram.

When using social networks and instant messengers, sometimes data is downloaded through external sources. For example, downloading advertisements, pictures, videos from third-party resources. This is not included in the bi-limit and consumes the traffic of the main service package. A similar effect can be achieved by using proxy servers.

Additional Tele2 Internet can be obtained by exchanging minutes for calls or SMS for Gigabytes according to the following proportion:

The exchange can be done in two ways at any time:

  1. After switching to the “Change everything” tariff plan, use the command *122*51#.
  2. On the website of the Tele2 Kazakhstan operator tele2.kz - after registering and logging into your personal account.

There is an exchange limit: at least 10 minutes must remain on the account. SMS can be exchanged without any reserve.

To find out how many minutes, SMS or GB are left on the tariff, dial the combination *123*1*3# on your phone.

Line for calls – “Ring”

If users use the operator’s services primarily for voice communications, the operator offers them to connect to tariffs from the “Zazvoni” line.

"Call everyone"

This tariff plan does not provide for a monthly fee for the client. The list of available services includes:

The call duration in this tariff plan cannot exceed 60 minutes.

  • The cost of outgoing calls to any numbers of Kazakhstani telecom operators is 11 tenge;
  • Access to mobile Internet is not provided as part of package services; connection is possible using a one-time Internet package;
  • Sending SMS messages within Tele2 operator subscribers – 10 tenge; to subscribers of other operators in Kazakhstan – 11 tenge; sending test messages abroad – 29 tenge.

The maximum call duration is 60 minutes. The provision of services requires a mandatory charge of a daily subscription fee.

  • By typing a number combination from the mobile phone keypad. By dialing *147*1# , you will get 15 megabytes of Internet, and the combination *147*2# will allow you to get 60 megabytes of high-speed traffic.

In order to check the remaining Internet traffic, dial the request *123*1*3# and then call. To disable the command *147*8*1# (for 15 MB) or *147*8*2# (for 60 MB) is suitable. You can always request any detailed information from a specialist by calling 147 .

In circumstances where there is no access to the Internet, a call to the Call Center at 611 helps. Call and a Tele2 representative will answer all your questions. If you are close to a communications salon or company office, visit it. The consultant will advise and help check the remaining traffic. You don’t need to pay anything for the service, you just need to show your ID.

Control over mobile resources is necessary for timely response (replenishment of balance, exchange of resources). If you notice that your monthly limit is regularly missing, look through the offers and choose the one that suits you. Otherwise, there is a possibility of overpaying for one-time packages.
