How to connect “Favorite number” on MTS
Many subscribers have a question: how to activate the service?
- To connect your favorite number to MTS, you need to enter the command *111*771*1#.
- After this, you need to set your favorite number by entering the command *111*771*number#.
- Do not forget that the number is entered in 11-digit format, after the mandatory entry of the country code, in this case seven.
You can connect your preferred number in your personal account on the official website. To do this, log in by entering your phone number and password. After this, enable the “Foreign” option, and then enter the desired phone number in the appropriate column. In your personal account you can check your balance, top up your account, and also enable and disable additional options. In addition, you can order detailed expenses.
The connection option is also available through the mobile application. The advantage of using the application is that there is no need to constantly enter a password. Opposite the required option, move the slider to the active position and enter the required phone number.
To change the preferred number, you must enter the last command again, but this time change the combination of numbers. After the subscriber’s contact is entered, you can call him without restrictions, and the package of minutes is not consumed. You can set the contact of one of your parents, husband/wife or children as your favorite number. Absolutely any subscriber from those with whom communication occurs most often.
It is worth remembering that you can change your number only twice within one calendar month. If a subscriber tries to change a contact for the 3rd time in a month, then you should not be surprised that the attempt was unsuccessful.
Connecting and disconnecting the service
If among your contacts there are people with whom you are ready to communicate endlessly, add them to your favorite MTS numbers. But for this you will need to install the option on your mobile device. Now there are many ways to activate, use one of them:
- There is a Personal Account section on the operator’s official website. It was created to manage all the functions and parameters of the tariff plan. To use it you need to create a new account. This procedure is available to all MTS subscribers. Fill out the standard form, enter your cell phone number and create a unique security authorization password. After logging in with your username, you will see detailed information about your agreement. In the main menu, click on the “Services” link and enable the “Favorite numbers” option.
- A similar registration process can be completed using the compact My MTS application. To start the desired service, select it in the list.
- Using the virtual assistant *111#, which in its characteristics is practically not inferior to the application and personal account. I act according to the recommendations on the display, activate the service.
- Enter a simple USSD code *111*42# and follow the suggested steps. After successful installation, you will receive a confirmation notification.
- Call your provider's customer service center. Remember the four numbers 0890. Specialists will answer all your questions and activate the service at any time of the day.
- You can perform similar procedures at any telecom operator's store.
Other conditions
- This offer is valid only when you activate the “Foreign” option. If it is not connected, it will be added in any case when connecting your favorite number. If the tariff is disabled, then your favorite number will be canceled at the same time;
- You can connect just one favorite number, from any operator in Russia. Adding a favorite number is available on all tariff plans that have the “Foreign” option;
- To change a saved favorite number, you must enter a different one. You can change numbers only twice within one month;
- A fee for the “Zabugorische” option is charged when using any communication services, this includes calls to or from your favorite number;
- All subscribers who connected their favorite number during the promotion can use this offer after the end of the promotion;
- From November 1, 2021, management of the entered number will be closed for connecting new subscribers. All those who connected before this time will be able to enter and change their phone number after this time.
The terms of the promotional offer are valid only at the time of publication. They can be changed unilaterally by MTS, but information about this will certainly appear on the official website. The operator is obliged to notify subscribers of any changes no less than 10 days before the innovation.
Description of service
The conditions of the option are such that by activating it, the subscriber can choose three phone numbers, which he can call at half price. Sending SMS and mms messages is also possible with a fifty percent discount. It should be noted that if you are in Moscow or the Moscow region, then your favorite numbers should be from the same region. The promotion does not apply to MTS numbers from other regions or to numbers of other mobile operators.
The cost is very affordable, every day a fee of 1.5 rubles is charged per room. If you connect all three valid numbers, then the fee triples and amounts to 4.5 rubles, respectively.
There are times when a subscriber needs to replace an existing favorite number. In this case, the user will need to pay 25 rubles. But removing a number from the list is absolutely free.
Description of the “Zabugorische” option, compatible with your favorite number
The “Zabugorische” option is quite similar to the “Unlimited” tariff plan. This option is available to subscribers who use the Tariffishche, Our Smart, Smart, Smart+, Smart Unlimited, Smart NonStop, My Unlimited, Smart Top and Ultra tariffs. Subscribers using this option have the opportunity to use the Internet while roaming at home rates, while the traffic is consumed from the package. In the same way, you can call Russia without spending extra money.
It is noteworthy that all incoming calls while roaming are free and unlimited.
Favorable tariffs are available in Ukraine, Armenia, India, Canada, Egypt, Romania, Finland, South Korea and other countries most often visited by tourists. The operator recommends checking the list of countries in which the option is available before each trip, as the company periodically expands it. On other foreign routes, tariffs are slightly different:
- Incoming calls - the first 10 minutes are free, after which for each subsequent minute you will be charged 39 rubles.
- Outgoing calls within Russia - the first minute is paid at the standard roaming tariff, then from the 2nd to the 5th minute the subscriber pays 39 rubles. Starting from the 6th minute, payment is charged at roaming rates.
- Internet traffic is consumed from the package, but there is a quota. For a number of countries, 100 MB of high-speed Internet per day is provided; after the limit is exhausted, the speed drops to 128 kbit/sec until the end of the current day. Such countries include Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Cyprus and some other destinations. In Moldova, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the high-speed Internet quota per day is only 30 MB. In a number of other countries, for example, South Ossetia, Tanzania, Jamaica, Iran and the Philippines, this option does not work at all. It is also worth knowing that it is not available when flying on airplanes or when traveling on sea vessels.
The subscription fee for connecting the option for all popular destinations is 350 rubles per day. Payment is charged upon use of services for each day. For destinations that are not very popular, the subscription fee is slightly higher and amounts to 390 rubles per month. In those countries where the option is not enabled, payment will not be debited.
How can you see the used Internet traffic? To do this, you can use your personal account; it is also available in roaming conditions. If suddenly there is not enough traffic, then you can enable the unique “Turbo button abroad” option. Thanks to this, the subscriber receives 100 MB of additional traffic. You can add Internet traffic in all countries where the quota applies. The cost of the additional package is only 250 rubles.
To connect the “Turbo button abroad”, enter the command *111*485# call. There is no need to disable the option, it is disabled automatically. Disconnection occurs 24 hours after connection or after the traffic limit is exhausted.
If a subscriber re-activates the “Turbo button abroad” option, and the limit of the last connection has not yet been exhausted, then the quotas are summed up and the service is disconnected 24 hours after the last connection.
The charge for the service is displayed in the invoice details as “Turbo button abroad: turbo_roam”.
