Firstly, almost everywhere, various bonuses are given as a “gift” upon purchase, such as unlimited Internet access for a couple of months or a very favorable (in appearance, of course) tariff. Secondly, the price of a branded device may be lower than that of similar models, but not sold by the operator. Finally, it also happens that you need a specific model, but you can’t buy it freely anywhere.
Often people make impulsive purchases, coveting a free offer, and after the allotted time has passed, they simply throw the device into the far corner, since they, as a rule, are completely dissatisfied with the tariffs, which they will have to switch to on a forced-voluntary basis. Moreover, it is not so important whether the operator really asks for a lot of money for his services - you quickly get used to good (and free) things, but you don’t want to pay an additional amount for, in general, a not very obligatory and not very vital service . It's good if you bought the device from the same operator that you use constantly. But here’s the catch - devices often end up locked, and if you regularly use the services of another company, then even in theory you won’t be able to do anything useful with them. We will deal with the solution to this issue, that is, the unlocking.
Before we get started, we need to clarify a few points. To begin with, it is useful to make sure that the device is really locked. All you have to do is insert a non-native SIM card and see what happens. If nothing works or the device somehow hints that it would be a good idea to insert the SIM of the desired operator or enter some code, then it is really locked. The next stage is to find out the true manufacturer. The most popular are Chinese products from Huawei or ZTE, less often Alcatel or some other little-known companies. A simple search will give you all the secrets. Along the way, you can find out whether it is possible to buy an unlocked analogue somewhere else and whether it can be unlocked at all. It is quite possible that the operator itself or a third-party company for a small fee, or even for free, is ready to make the device less scrupulous. In general, you need to find out for yourself whether the game is worth the candle.
Operator blocking
The mobile phone may be blocked by the operator. In this case, if temporarily blocked, you will be able to call the support service at 5433. Otherwise, the SIM card will not service calls.
What to do:
- call 5433 from another Life; (to directly get to any operator of the operator, call the number, then select the language of conversation - 1 - Russian; 2 - Ukrainian. After that, press the number 5, then 3, and wait a couple of seconds, after the beep press "0" and that's it All.

If the owner entered the PIN code incorrectly, it is still possible to restore access to the SIM card. To do this, you must enter the PUK code correctly. It consists of 8 digits, which are confidential information issued to the owner when registering a SIM card. The PUK is located on the plastic card into which the SIM card was inserted upon purchase. The PIN code is also located there. Therefore, in order to enter the PUK code correctly, all you need to do is find this plate and enter the required 8 numbers on your phone.
If you can’t find a card with the necessary information, you can find out the PUK code from your mobile operator in several ways. The specific instructions depend on which operator the subscriber uses. It is important to remember that when trying to find out the PUK code, the user will need to confirm his identity. To do this, you may need to dictate some passport data (for example, number) or say a code word.
How to determine PUK code

Subscribers of contract packages can determine the required package by contacting Life support with their documents. If the card cannot be used, the salon consultants will replace the SIM card. After activation, you will be able to use your number, but your phone book and other content will be lost.
Life standard pin code
If you have an unlocked Life card in your hands, you will need a PIN code for Life Ukraine to turn it on. In this regard, the provider is not original; you need to enter the standard Life PIN code: 1111.
Try entering four numbers once. If sim did not accept the entered combination, this means that the user changed the pin. It can only be unlocked when data is restored. If you try again, the card will be blocked.

· Call the lifecell information and consultation center at 5433, select item 5 in the main menu, then “Blocking a lost SIM card”;
· Use the My lifecell self-service system if the number was previously registered in the system and you remember your Super Password;
When blocking a lost SIM card number through the lifecell information and consultation center or subscriber service center, you must provide the following information to identify you as the owner of the number:
1. Secret word (if set).
2. The two numbers you call most often, the balance of your main account (if the secret word is not set).
3. Other questions (if necessary).
If the number is a contract number, the full name of the owner of the phone number and passport details are sufficient. This is necessary to prevent the actions of attackers who may apply to block a number on your behalf.
SIM card blocking is provided free of charge. SIM card unlocking is free for the first 5 days (not including the day of blocking and unlocking). For each subsequent day when unblocking, you will need to pay 0.20 UAH. per day with VAT without PF for maintaining the number.

You won't be able to unlock Life SIM cards if you haven't used them for a long time. If during a year the subscriber has not made or received calls, topped up the account, or performed other manipulations with the number, it is automatically blocked and becomes available to other subscribers.
