The cost of calls to Kazakhstan on almost all MegaFon tariff plans is fixed - 39 rubles / min, regardless of the operator. A conversation lasting 10 minutes will cost 390 rubles. The “Warm Welcome” tariff (full name “Warm Welcome Promotion”) is designed for those who often call abroad - or more precisely, to the CIS countries and Asia. It is provided with a subscription fee of 550 rubles/month and includes the following set of services:
- Unlimited Internet – spend traffic for any needs, but remember about load limits. If the load on the network is too high, the operator has the right to limit the access speed;
- Package of international minutes – 100 minutes to mobile numbers in Russia, China, Ucom Armenia, MegaFon Tajikistan, MegaCom Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kyivstar Ukraine. The package is updated every month;
- Unlimited calls within the network - call MegaFon numbers throughout Russia without restrictions;
- MegaFon TV service package - each subscriber receives 4 films and a package of TV channels “Warm Welcome”.
The tariff plan works throughout Russia, with the exception of Crimea and Sevastopol - special conditions apply here.
Calls to Kazakhstan are not included in the 100-minute package and are paid separately - 6.5 rubles/min to numbers of any Kazakh operators. Compared to standard rates for international calls, the savings are exactly 6 times. In total, a conversation lasting 10 minutes will cost not 390, but only 65 rubles.
How to use the “Warm Welcome” tariff
To switch to a tariff plan, use your personal account or send the USSD command *105*1486#. Another way to transfer is to indicate your phone number on the tariff page and confirm your intentions with the code from SMS. New subscribers need to buy a SIM card with a tariff plan at the MegaFon office, in its online store or at any dealer point of sale. The cost of a SIM card is 300 rubles; upon connection, half of the subscription fee will be deducted from it and all service packages will be provided. The second half is debited on the 16th day - do not forget to top up your account.
Subscribers of other mobile operators need to switch to MegaFon by writing an application at one of the nearest offices. Make sure that there is no debt on the number, it is not under arrest or blocked. You also need to make sure that your passport data is up to date - visit the office of the current operator and ask a specialist to check your passport data. Transferring a number to MegaFon is free of charge, with the issuance of a new SIM card.
Connecting Megafon international roaming abroad
provides the opportunity to use mobile services in many foreign countries. However, there are some nuances:
- The basic roaming service must be activated. It allows you to use the networks of other operators to send SMS, make calls and access the Internet.
- The opportunity to use communication services directly abroad is provided. It is connected additionally, on top of the main roaming.
- “International roaming” does not require prior connection when visiting 152 countries of the world, since the service is activated automatically upon arrival in any country from this list. The most convenient way to clarify whether certain states are included in this list or not is by visiting the page https://moscow.megafon.ru/roaming/world/ . In the column “Find out the cost of services in roaming”, when you enter the name of the country, the cost of services on its territory will be indicated. If it is not included in this list, or does not provide communication services at all, then a corresponding warning will immediately appear on the page.
Note: for international roaming to be activated automatically, your account must have a certain minimum amount of funds. At the same time, Megafon will not charge a penny for the connection itself.

“Call all countries” option to save on calls
The “Warm Welcome” tariff plan is not convenient for everyone - being designed for international calls, it does not include a decent set of minutes for calls within Russia (100 minutes for other mobile phones is not enough for every subscriber). An alternative to the tariff will be the “Call all countries” option. Its advantages:
- Available on almost all current tariffs;
- Provided with a minimum subscription fee;
- Significantly reduces the cost of calls around the world.
The cost of calls, depending on the direction, is from 1.6 rubles/min.
Cost of a call to Kazakhstan from
Calls to Kazakhstan with the “Call to all countries” option cost 8.5 rubles/min, regardless of the operator - you can call both mobile and landline numbers. The subscription fee is 2.1 rubles/day, for the first 30 days from the moment of connection it is written off as a one-time payment of 30 rubles. The option is valid only in the home region - when traveling within Russia, the cost of calls to Kazakhstan will be the standard 39 rubles/min.
To activate the “Call all countries” option, use your personal account. If you do not have Internet access, send the USSD command *105*0081#. It is also possible to connect via an SMS command with the text “YES” (without quotes) sent to the free service number 0500981. Disabling the service
Just as with activating a service, you can deactivate it using several methods:
- The easiest way, as with connection, is to use a ussd request. To do this, dial *105*0081*0#. After the call is made, you should expect the option to be disabled.
- You can also call communication consultants on the hotline. To do this, you need to dial 0500 or 88005500500. After connecting to the operator, you should ask to disable the service. Deactivation will be completed in a matter of minutes. You should be prepared to give the code word and passport details.
- Every person who uses their personal account or mobile application can disable the service on their own. To disable “Call all countries” there is a special button.
- Well, the last way is to visit the brand salon closest to your home or work. To find a salon, you should look at a special map on the company’s website. The main thing when visiting a store is to have your passport or driver’s license with you.
Disabling the “Call all countries” option occurs within an hour, although, of course, sometimes it can be deactivated in a couple of minutes. In any case, clients will be notified via SMS.

The “Warm Welcome+” option will help save the situation. It is designed for the two latest popular tariff lines, “All Inclusive” and “Turn On!”, which are used by millions of Russians. However, it is incompatible with the “Call all countries” option.
The “Warm Welcome+” option is provided with a subscription fee of 2 rubles/day. The coverage area is all of Russia when registering in MegaFon networks. The first connection is free, each subsequent connection costs 30 rubles. There is a promotional period of 14 days. The cost of calls to Kazakhstan with the “Warm Welcome+” option is 5 rubles/day – more than 7 times cheaper compared to the basic rates for international calls.
The free period is provided only the first time you activate the “Warm Welcome+” option on the current number.

The cost of mobile communications abroad
The price of mobile services depends on the state in which the Megafon subscriber is located.
For Turkey, Spain, Italy and the Republic of Belarus, the payment is the same. Any incoming calls, as well as calls made within these countries or made to Russia, are charged at a single price - 79 rubles per minute. If you call from them to other countries, the cost will increase to 129 rubles/min.
There is no need to pay for incoming SMS, but for outgoing SMS the price will be 25 rubles per message.
Internet with the “Turn on” tariff will cost 99 rubles per day for all messengers; when connecting to other services, 10 MB of traffic will automatically become available for the same amount. Internet on a different tariff plan will cost 350 rubles for 50 MB of traffic.

How to call Kazakhstan
Two tariff plans from the Zadarma operator are suitable for calls to Kazakhstan:

By default, subscribers are connected to the “Standard” tariff plan, but it can be changed to the “Economy” tariff for free. The savings, compared to MegaFon's standard prices, will be up to 18 times.
To call Kazakhstan, register in Zadarma - indicate your email address, subscriber name and password on the registration page.
