General rules for sending money from your phone

Also, the ability to top up your card using a mobile phone depends on the services provided by your telecom operator. If you use cards from Visa or MasterCard payment systems, then performing the transaction will not be difficult. But if you use MIR or Maestro, then you should find out in advance whether the required payment system has a valid agreement with Sberbank.

By bank card on the website

A special form is provided for this - the subscriber does not need to look for third-party payment services or online banking. Payments are accepted from any cards, without commission.

To top up your balance:

1. Go to the operator's website.
2. In the menu, select “MTS Money” – “Payments” – “Cellular Communications”.

6. Click Create Template.

7. Enter the name of the operator in the search bar.

8. Next, specify your payment method.
9. Confirm creation by entering the password from SMS.

• call 1113 for an automatic application;
• log into your personal account – there the service connection is in the “Payment” section;
• In the “My MTS” application, go to the “Bill and Payment” tab - there will be an item “Opportunities at zero” in it.

The loan amount is set independently. The service is not available with a negative balance below -300 rubles and for new customers who have been using the number for no more than 60 days. If the subscriber has already activated the “Promised payment”, then the repeated application will be rejected. The connection will not work with valid or “Credit”.

What restrictions are there?

MTS sets the maximum amount for one payment at 15 thousand rubles, and the minimum is 50 rubles due to the need to control the movement of funds between subscribers and minimize risks. There is also a restriction on transactions for unidentified users within the country. Sberbank introduces additional restrictions:

• no more than 75 thousand rubles per month including commission (3000 rubles);
• 5 transfers per day;
• 40 thousand rubles per day.

Important!

As a result of the operation, at least 10 rubles should remain on your mobile phone account. This requirement has been introduced to preserve the ability to use communication services in the future.

Other ways to top up your MTS account

If it is not possible to take advantage of offers from MTS to pay for communications, there are other options that may be suitable in a given situation.

Mobile portal

This service is convenient if the Internet is not connected - the service works without it. To enter the menu, you need to dial *115# on your phone and press call.

A list of categories will open - communications, internet, housing and communal services. Each item is assigned a number. To pay for MTS, select:

• "Mobile phone";
• number 1, “Reply”;
• then “MTS” (1);
• Enter the phone number, fill in the amount, and select the source for withdrawing funds.

When receiving an SMS from 6996, you need to confirm the payment - this is given within 15 minutes, otherwise the operation will be cancelled. You can also refuse the transfer by sending 0 in response to this number.

Payment terminal

Another option if there is no Internet is a payment terminal, which can be found in any supermarket. To deposit money, select the mobile communications category on the screen, then look for MTS. In the field for entering numbers, dial the number and insert the money into the bill acceptor. Replenishment usually takes place within a few minutes, with the exception of rare cases of technical failure. The disadvantages of this method are the commission for the service and the need to get to the machine.

Transfer from another MTS number

You can ask someone you know to top up your account using an SMS transfer. Transfer from Beeline to MTS

You can send funds to MTS from a Beeline account if you have a SIM card, or ask your relatives to do this. Algorithm of actions:

• Go to the Beeline website.
• In the main menu, select the “Payment and Finance” section, “Money transfers” subsection.
• In the “Transfer to another subscriber’s account” menu, check the “Other operator” checkbox.
• Click on the “Transfer from site” button.

• Next, select “Mobile communications” - “MTS”.
• The subscriber is asked to enter the phone number and transfer amount in the fields. You also need to fill in the sender’s number, his email and a captcha of numbers, and then click “Submit”.

The money will quickly be credited to your account, but this method has one drawback - a large commission. It is 7.95% of the transfer + 10 ₽. The minimum amount to send is 15 rubles.

Another option with Beeline can be useful when there is no Internet connection. To do this, you need to send an SMS with the recipient’s phone number starting with 7 and the amount separated by a space, that is: 7917ххххххх 200.

Send this text to number 7878. The acceptable amount is from 5 to 10,000 rubles. To confirm the payment, you will receive a message, which you need to respond to, following the instructions in it. The transfer fee is the same as when sending from the Beeline website.

Transferring money from an MTS account using a mobile application

This is an option for those cases when you don’t have a computer or tablet at hand.

Install the special application “MTS Money”, and you will be able to make money transfers in a convenient user interface. To complete the transaction, it is enough to know the card number of the recipient of the funds.

Fees and restrictions remain unchanged.

Deadlines and other important details

The money will arrive within 5 banking days. But this is the most extreme case. Usually the transfer arrives much earlier, even after a few minutes. The amount that can be transferred is from 50 to 14,999 rubles, within 24 hours you are allowed to withdraw 30 thousand, within a week (month) 40 thousand. A minimum of 10 rubles must remain on the phone.

Having figured out how to easily top up a bank debit card from an MTS phone number, pay attention to the commission fee. It is 4.3% of what you will transfer, but not less than 60 rubles. It turns out that when you transfer 50 rubles to a bank card, 110 rubles are debited from your phone account. and the commission will thus be 120%. Based on the “4.3%, but not less than 60 rubles” grid, it is advisable to make transfers starting from the amount of 1396 rubles.

This can be seen from simple calculations. You just have to figure out what amount the percentage of 4.3 will be 60 rubles.

1. We equate 60 rubles to 4.3%: 60 rubles = 4.3%
2. Let's calculate how much 1% of the total transfer amount is: 60/4.3=13.9534 1% of the total transfer amount will be 13.9534 rubles.
3. We find out what the transfer amount is, at which the commission of 4.3% will be 60 rubles, i.e. multiply by 100. 13.9534*100=1395.34 rub.

This is our minimum amount in terms of savings - 1396 rubles.

In other words, to use this service you need to accumulate at least 495 bonuses (99% of the amount). Another 5% (at least 5 rubles) will be debited from your card account.

Without Internet

If there is no Internet connection, you can perform the above procedure using the Mobile Portal service.

1. Dial the short command *115# and click “Call”.
2. A menu will open with a list of possible payments. You must send the number “1” (Mobile phone) as a response.
3. Next, a list of popular mobile operators will appear; you should select “1” (MTS).
4. In the menu that opens, select the unit again - “Pay for another MTS number.”
5. In the form that appears, enter the number of the recipient of funds without the eight. For example, 9190ХХХХХХ.
6. After sending the target number, a window appears for the payment amount. Fill it out and click on the submit button.
