Beeline "Super Unlim" tariff: detailed description of conditions

In the last publication, I looked at the updated Unlim tariff, which turned out to be incredibly strange and not particularly profitable. Let’s now look at “Super Unlim” - is it worthy of the “Super” prefix.

"Super Unlim"

- a new tariff plan of the mobile operator Beeline, launched on March 28, 2021. The main advantage of the tariff is the availability of unlimited Internet.

“Super Unlim”: description

This tariff plan is a strong “middle” in the “Unlim” line.

It provides the most optimal number of minutes and mobile Internet, and also contains several interesting additional options:

• The package of minutes included in the tariff can be customized at your discretion. You decide for yourself which numbers you will spend more minutes on - Beeline or all the others.
• The tariff allows you to use torrents, as well as distribute the Internet to other devices. The latter comes with reservations.
• As a gift, the operator offers 30 Beeline TV channels, as well as a video subscription for 300 films with a constantly updated collection.

The price of the “Super Unlim” tariff in Moscow and the Moscow region is 30 rubles. per day. Payment is charged daily, regardless of whether you used communication services on a particular day.

For new Beeline customers who purchased a SIM card with the Super Unlim tariff, the subscription fee was 2 times lower - only 15 rubles. per day. This cost applied for the first 3 months, then standard price tags returned.

The tariff plan works throughout the country, with the exception of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. There are separate prices for communication services.

Subtleties of the Internet

We will separately highlight the conditions of the Beeline “Super Unlim” tariff regarding the Internet. First, details of the package included in the tariff plan:

• The “Unlimited Internet + HD video” option is automatically activated;
• This feature provides maximum speed for surfing the Internet and unlimited access to the Internet in Russia;
• If the service is disabled, users receive 20 GB for a month;
• The package is valid throughout the country, with the exception of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (the cost of 1 MB is 10.95 rubles)

What awaits you inside

The “Super Unlim” tariff plan offered users the following conditions and packages consisting of:

• Incoming calls are free throughout the country;
• Unlimited mobile Internet throughout Russia with the “Unlimited Internet + HD video” option;
• 20 GB of mobile Internet if unlimited is disabled;
• 1,200 minutes for calls, which can be distributed between Beeline numbers and other phones independently;
• 300 SMS messages to SIM cards in the connection region.

In addition, the tariff participated in the operator’s promotions “Gigi for Steps”, “Gigi for Sleep”, “Gigi for Detox” or “Gigi for Brains”. These offers helped to get additional traffic or the ability to share the Internet with an unlimited connection.

Personal opinion

This tariff is clearly better in terms of parameters than the updated Unlim, but it is far from ideal. Setting up a package of minutes is “beyond good and evil.” Mobile Internet can be officially distributed only for money.

And all this for 900 rubles per month (for Moscow and the region). Let's look at the tariffs of other operators for about the same money.

MTS - "Tariffishche"

. For 800 rubles per month you get 800 minutes to any numbers in Russia, 800 SMS to any numbers in Russia and unlimited mobile Internet.

Megaphone - “Turn on! Choose"

. For 790 rubles for 30 days, 900 minutes are issued to local mobile numbers and any numbers in other regions of Russia, 18 GB of mobile Internet or unlimited Internet with the free “Unlimited Internet” option, within which mobile Internet distribution is officially available.

Tele2 – “Unlimited”

. For 500 rubles per month you get unlimited access to Tele2 numbers in any region of Russia, a package of 500 minutes to numbers of other operators in any region of Russia, which is not spent when calling Tele2 numbers, 50 SMS to any number in Russia and unlimited mobile Internet.

Yes, the Beeline tariff has more minutes. But in fact, it is not clear how many minutes you will receive. After all, there are two packages - one for Beeline numbers, the other for other numbers. If you use up the second package, you will pay for calls.

It is quite possible that in other regions “Super Unlim” is a favorable tariff. But in Moscow and the region - definitely not.

Unlimited Internet + HD video

This is an additional option that is connected to your number when you switch to the “Super Unlim” tariff.

For new Beeline subscribers, the first month of “Unlimited Internet + HD Video” is offered free of charge, then for 1 rub. per day. If you are using an old operator SIM card, the option will be paid from the very beginning.

This service is managed as follows:

• To connect unlimited Internet to “Super Unlim”, enter the number 067407430 and press the call button;
• To disable the option, call 067407431.

If you use this service, you will not be able to distribute the Internet to other devices. This limitation is due to the fact that the traffic is unlimited, and this is unprofitable for the operator.

You can connect to “Super Unlim” the additional service “Internet Distribution” for 1 hour using the command *157*1# or for a day using the command *157*24#.

You can also disable unlimited - then you can distribute your 20 GB in any volume without restrictions.

Additional Information

There is a promotion for new subscribers: when ordering a SIM card on the operator’s website, in the first 3 months of using the tariff there is a 50% discount . The bonus is activated manually. Connection instructions are sent to the client’s number within 3 days from the moment the card is installed in the mobile device.

New SIM card owners can choose a beautiful number on the website of the mobile operator. The card is delivered by courier to your home free of charge. When checking out, the client has the opportunity to choose pickup from the nearest cellular company office.

The HD video option allows you to view online videos in the highest available image quality. In the first month of switching to Super Unlim it is provided free of charge. In the subsequent period, the cost of the service is 3 rubles per day. When the function is disabled, the traffic speed for watching video is reduced to 1 Mbit per second.

Unused traffic volumes, calls and SMS do not carry over to the next month.

Existing Beeline customers can switch to a service package for free only if the previous tariff change was made more than a month ago. If less than a month has passed, then a fee of 200 rubles will be charged for the operation.

Setting up packages of minutes

The 1,200 minutes that the operator offers in your tariff plan can be divided between different types of calls at your discretion.

The division could be like this:

• Default: 600 minutes to Beeline, 600 minutes to any other subscribers;
• Option 1: 850 minutes to Beeline, 350 minutes to other numbers, including landlines;
• Option 2: 350 minutes to Beeline, 850 minutes to other SIM cards throughout the country;
• Option 3: 1,200 minutes to Beeline, the package does not apply to other numbers.

Package customization is included in the tariff by default, so there is no additional charge for it. You can use this feature indefinitely—if one option doesn’t work, just try the next one.

How are minutes exchanged?

This package includes 1200 minutes for Moscow and the region. Their distribution depends on the individual settings of the subscriber himself. It can be done on the operator’s official website.

Cost of services after the end of packages

If you run out of packages of minutes and SMS messages within the “Super Unlim” tariff, the following prices will apply:

• Calls to Beeline subscribers in the Russian Federation - 0.25 rubles. in a minute;
• Calls to numbers in your home region - 2.5 rubles. in a minute;
• Communication with subscribers of any operators in the country - 5 rubles. in a minute;
• SMS messages to local numbers - 2.5 rubles. a piece;
• SMS messages within the country - 5 rubles. a piece.

If you have disabled the “Unlimited Internet + HD Video” service and have run out of 20 GB of traffic, the “5 GB speed auto-renewal” option will be connected to the number. It is activated by default and provides 5 GB of additional traffic for 160 rubles.

How to connect and disconnect

Like any operator tariff plan, you could activate the “Super Unlim” tariff in the following ways:

• Purchase a new SIM card with a pre-installed “Super Unlim” tariff on the operator’s website or office;
• Switch to “Super Unlim” from the current tariff in your personal account on the website or in the Beeline mobile application;
• Call the hotline at 0611 or visit a communication salon so that consultants can arrange the transition.

At the moment, it is no longer possible to connect “Super Unlim” - this tariff plan has been moved to the archive.

You can disable it when switching to a new tariff plan or when terminating a contract for the provision of communication services.

"Smart Things"

The subscription fee for this tariff is 100 rubles per month.
In exchange for this money, the subscriber receives a package of 30 minutes, 100 SMS and 500 MB. In addition, the operator automatically sets a ban on connecting paid services and subscriptions and will not take away the number, even if funds from the account are not spent for a long time. Although this tariff is designed for the Internet of Things, the SIM card with it can be used in any device, including smartphones and cell phones. Advantages and disadvantages

Among the advantages of the tariff plan are the following:

• A large package of minutes that can be flexibly customized to suit your needs;
• Low prices for calls to Beeline subscribers;
• Ability to work with torrents;
• “Gigi for...” promotions, which help you save a lot on communication services.

But “Super Unlim” has noticeably more disadvantages:

• Distribution of unlimited Internet is possible only when connecting to a separate paid service;
• There is no limit on calls to Beeline subscribers, as is often the case with other operators;
• Remaining minutes, SMS messages and traffic are not transferred;
• 900 rub. per month for such content is too expensive.

In fact, the offer is not the most profitable, both among the options of Beeline itself and in the market as a whole.

SMS and Calls

All users receive 1200 completely free minutes, which equates to 20 hours of communication.

The minutes are divided into 2 packages. The first part is available exclusively for calls to Beeline customers, and the second part is available for calls to other Russian numbers.

If necessary, the size of the packages can be adjusted by interchange.
