Hi all! Previously, we described the Tariffs and codes of the Play mobile operator in 2021. Today I would like to talk about another, no less famous, Polish mobile operator - Orange.

You can purchase an Orange starter pack/SIM card both in Orange stores and RUCH kiosks, gas stations, train stations, etc. Their cost varies from 5 to 30 zł.

Like other mobile operators, Orange has 2 tariff plan options - Abonament komórkowy (agreement with Orange) and Oferty na kartę w Orange (prepaid). Let's look at each of them in more detail.

Oferta na kartę w Orange (as of August 2019)

• 2x internet connection

  This promotion is available for subscribers of the Orange Free na kartę tariff in the Orange na kartę and Zetafon offers. During its validity period, for each account replenishment an additional bonus will be automatically provided in the form of free Internet:

Extending the validity period of bonus GB

The service is available in Orange Free na kartę. The validity period of bonus GB can be extended any number of times. Days purchased will be added to the current bonus expiration date. Additional gigabytes can always be obtained by topping up your account.

  Free calls and SMS to all mobile numbers in Orange, if you have active outgoing calls. The service is available on Orange Free na kartę, Orange YES or Nowe Orange Go tariffs. Activation of the service is free.

IMPORTANT:

– “Za darmo w Orange” disables the “Konto Ważne Rok” service . In this situation, turning on “Za darmo w Orange” means reducing the validity period of the funds in the account to 30 days. However, you can always turn on “Konto Ważne Rok” again by sending an SMS with the text “START” to 8002 (cost 3 zł if less than 3 months in Orange). – “Za darmo w Orange” disables the “Internet za darmo” service in the Orange Free na kartę tariff. In this situation, turning on “Za darmo w Orange” means disabling the bonus gigabytes that are credited for free after each replenishment (you will also lose the already accumulated GB. However, they can be turned on again. – If you use a different tariff (not Orange Free na kartę, Orange YES or Nowe Orange Go), then turning on “Za darmo w Orange” means an automatic and free change of tariff to Orange Free na kartę ... The account balance will not change, but some of the services used may be disabled.

• Without limitu do wszystkich

  As part of the Bez limitu service, users will receive free calls and SMS to all networks and landline numbers without restrictions + a free Internet package of at least 15 GB in Poland and 2.09 GB in other EU countries. Additionally, by choosing the option of cyclic service renewal, the subscriber receives 1 GB more Internet every month: the first month – 15 GB, the second month – 16 GB, the third – 17 GB, etc. + 1 GB monthly. Unused Internet is carried over to the next period.

  This is a blocking of content for adults on the Internet (thanks to it, your child will not encounter unsafe content. The child does not have access to pornographic sites and sites that promote aggressive behavior. Sites of this kind are automatically blocked, so this service does not need to be activated); blocking calls using special numbers (blocking calls and SMS with a higher fee for effective cost control. Blocking is activated automatically when the starter is activated); blocking malware (attempts to infect your child’s phone with malware through websites will be blocked).

In addition, you can activate additional services and promotions that increase the safety of your child’s phone use: Numer bez limitu – unlimited calls to one number of your choice (can be any operator); Gdzie Jest Dziecko – you can quickly check where your child is: at school, on the way home or somewhere else; Bezpieczne konto is a service that allows you to control the balance of funds in your child’s account. • Zawsze bez limitu

  Available for subscribers who purchased this starter and for subscribers of the following tariffs: Orange POP, Orange Go, Orange Yes, Orange One, Orange Smart on kartę, Orange Free on kartę.

  Possibility of unlimited calls to mobile and landline numbers for a week. To do this, you need to send an SMS with the content “TAK” to the free number 80290 to express your consent to receive newsletters from Orange.

How to set up the Internet in Orange

Usually you just need to insert the SIM card and turn on the device. The necessary parameters are set automatically. However, in some cases this does not happen, it is also recommended to check to avoid incorrect charging.

The device's network settings should include:

• APN: orangeworld;
• username: orange;
• password: orange;
• alternative APN: internet.

The described rates apply only with such settings. The SIM card will also work with other values, but at different rates, which means the debiting of funds will occur differently. It is recommended to check the settings before connecting for the first time, as well as after turning off or restarting the smartphone.

How to renew your internet package

If the traffic from the selected package is not enough, you can reconnect to any of the Mundo packages. To do this, there must be sufficient funds in the account. You can do this for free in your personal account, or by sending a paid message:

• GB to number 1470 to activate the 3 GB package for 7 euros;
• GBPLUS to number 1470 to connect a 7 GB package for 10 euros;
• GBTOTAl to number 1470 to get 10 GB for 15 euros.

Please note that the balance from the previous package is not transferred. To activate the new tariff, the phone must be rebooted.

Interesting! After the end of the specified traffic, it remains possible to use the Internet, but the speed is reduced to 64 Kb/s.

How to set up internet distribution

Any of the Orange Mundo tariffs allows you to distribute Internet from a tablet or smartphone. Make sure that all settings are correct before starting distribution, then in the smartphone settings, find the “Enable portable hotspot” function. For correct operation, mobile data must be enabled. You should check if your phone model has different APN settings at the time of distribution. If configured incorrectly, special rates will not apply.

Standard rates in Orange na kartę packages

To change the plan to Orange Free na Kartę you need to send SMS “FREE” to number 3033.

In addition, in Orange na kartę you can choose the number of days of using unlimited calls and SMS to all networks + Internet. There are one-time and automatically renewable services.

The size of the Internet package depends on the length of service in Orange na kartę : 15 GB (if less than a year and the service is cyclical) or 10 GB (if less than a year and the service is one-time), 17 GB (from 1 to 3 years) and 20 GB (from 3 years and above).

You can also activate the “Konto ważne rok w Orange na Kartę” – it allows you to extend the validity of outgoing calls up to one year. You can activate this service in Mój Orange or send an SMS with the content “START” to 8002 . For subscribers who registered with Orange more than 93 days ago, the service is free, in other cases the cost is 3 zł.

Basic internet packages for 30 days are divided into renewable and one-time packages. Let's look at each of them.

Orange disposable Internet packages

Users of all Orange na kartę tariffs can use one-time Internet packages if there is enough money on their account to activate the service.

Flexible Internet packages Orange

In the GB package in the EU there is an additional charge of 1.89 zł per 1 GB.

Internet package 1GB in roaming in strefie 1: validity period – 7 days; cost – 15 zł. You can connect using the code *130*31# , by sending an SMS with the content “AKT1” to number 420, or through Mój Orange.

The fastest and most convenient way is to do it in Mój Orange :

• You can activate and deactivate the service using SMS: activation – sending an SMS with the text AKT ROAMING to 80179 or using the code *110*50# ; deactivation of the service - sending an SMS with the text REZ ROAMING to the number 80179 or using *110*50*00# . In addition, you can call *500 or *100 (from mobile phones) / 510100100 (from landline phones).

Enabling and disabling the service is free.

Transfer your phone number to Orange

Porting a number to Orange is an opportunity to take advantage of attractive promotions prepared by the operator for new subscribers. Number porting is possible in three ways:

• in person, in the selected Orange salon ,

Why do you need an Orange SIM card?

A tourist mobile card with an international Orange Mundo tariff can be purchased and activated in the Russian Federation, and used in 43 countries around the world at a single prepaid tariff.

• recharge card (Karty zdrapki), which can be purchased at kiosks, grocery stores, hypermarkets and many other points. Each card has its own unique 14-digit top-up code. We buy a card, erase the protective layer, enter *125*14-digit code# on the phone. The account will be replenished within a few minutes, an SMS notification will be sent,
• via the Mój Orange mobile application,
• or by activating the free Skarbonka , then for each replenishment on the card you will receive a bonus of up to 10% of the replenishment amount.

How to activate a SIM card

When ordering a SIM card, you can select the desired activation date. On the requested day, a notification will be sent to your email about the activation of the SIM card by an operator with a suitable Mundo tariff. There should be 5 cents left on the account - this will mean that the package is activated and you can use the Internet. If the amount in your account is larger, you should wait. If the balance is zero, you won’t be able to connect, you will have to top up your account.

When used immediately after purchase, activation may take up to 5 minutes, in the future it will occur instantly. A message will be sent to the phone that the subscriber is connected to the network in a specific country from the list at the selected tariff. Sometimes the device fails to automatically detect the network. In this case, you need to connect manually.

It is also possible to activate the SIM card yourself. To do this, you will need to go to the website from which you ordered the card. Activation may take up to 48 hours.
