Who can't connect?

It is important to know that this service is valid only in the home region, that is, the area where the SIM card was purchased. As soon as you leave your region, territory or republic, you find yourself in roaming. And there are completely different prices.

A subscriber who has added archived options (currently closed for connection and transition, transferred to the so-called archive) will not be able to connect to the service:

  1. “50% intercity” - calls to mobile and landline phones in regions of the country are half the price.
  2. “My MegaFon” - calls to MegaFon network numbers with a 50% discount.

I am writing, as requested, with a full statement of the essence. In fact, it seems to me that Megafon is inferior to Beeline and MTS. I don’t even take Tele2 into account, they lag behind, limping. So I can single out Megafon as an excellent Internet conductor. Catches without fail over a large area. I’m trying to watch on a laptop, but despite the very decent hardware, the application constantly crashes and in order not to look at the black screen, I have to constantly press the “Watch” button. And if you watch in full screen mode, then the viewing process becomes even more “fun” - folded, poked, unfolded, folded, poked, unfolded, and so on all the time. In general, there is no option to sit back on the couch, relax and enjoy watching. Hence the conclusion: the application was developed very clumsily and not professionally. Considering that, thanks to the very high and stable quality of communication, I have been a Megafon subscriber for 13 years, I was extremely disappointed with this application. It’s a shame to release such a crude, unfinished product.

Calls outside the country are very expensive. Even a conversation with a subscriber from a neighboring country can cost several tens of rubles per minute. To avoid unintended expenses, it is recommended to choose a special tariff plan for calls to CIS countries.

This TP costs 350 rubles per month, like most tariffs in the “Turn on!” line. For this money the client receives:

  • Unlimited calls to MegaFon in Russia.

What tariff should I choose for calls to numbers of other operators in Russia?

If you often call numbers of other operators in Russia, the most profitable plan for you will be “City Connection”. The subscription fee for the tariff is 600 rubles, this amount includes 700 minutes of communication when calling any local and long-distance numbers.

This tariff is positioned on the operator’s website as “the ideal tariff for calls within Russia,” with 1 SMS costing 1 ruble.

You can switch to the plan on the operator’s website in the “Tariffs” section, in your personal account, or by dialing the combination * 105 * 1080# and the call button on your cell phone, sending an arbitrary message to the number 5001080, or calling this number and selecting a command in the voice menu.

The “Call Russia” option provides the opportunity to call numbers of all operators for 0 rubles from the 2nd to the 10th minute, while the first minute will cost 15 rubles, and starting from the 11th minute it will cost 2.5 rubles. In other words, in the most favorable scenario, 10 minutes of conversation will cost 15 rubles.

This option is suitable for those who do not call other cities very often and talk for several minutes; there is NO subscription fee for the service. This option can be activated in addition to the most inexpensive tariff plans and calls to regions at an affordable price.

Service cost

This option, as already mentioned, is provided free of charge: no connection fee or subscription fee is required. The price of this discount: increased cost of the first minute – 15 rubles. Moreover, from the 2nd to the 10th minute of each call you do not need to pay for the call, and from the 11th minute the price is only 2.50.

Keep in mind that here, too, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol are taken out of brackets: the cost of a minute of connection in these directions depends on the subscriber’s base tariff.
