It is no secret that telecom operators have non-public, so-called closed tariffs, which you can connect to only through the support service or by purchasing a SIM card from some, mostly “gray” sellers. MTS also has such a “Personal” tariff, closed from outsiders (not the one that the operator currently advertises on the official website or in the application) with more than a dozen options for the volume of included services. At the moment (February 2021), the “Personal” plan is considered “hot”, so it is possible that the operator will change its conditions in the future depending on popularity.

As the MTS operator states, potential customers of “Personal” are those subscribers who want to pay only for the services actually used, which is practically suitable for any category of users and is a unified offer. As such, there are no fixed prices per unit of services - everything is calculated exclusively on a personalized basis.

The main feature of connecting a personal offer is that until the optimal set of services is fully formed, the client’s services will be charged at his previous rates. If the user is new to the MTS network, he will first need to purchase a SIM card from the Tariffishche tariff plan, where a 50% discount is provided for the first month, and from then on individual offers will begin to apply. The same applies to clients transferred from other operators.

Detailed description of the tariff

• All incoming calls are free and unlimited;
• Minutes and messages in the package for calls/SMS to any numbers throughout the Russian Federation, no restrictions by region (except for Crimea and Sevastopol, of course);
• Internet is also available throughout the country;
• After the end of the package of minutes, the cost of a call will be 1.50 RUR per minute to any numbers;
• SMS over the package - 2 ₽/message;
• You can give away no more than 3 GB for free. traffic per month, then you will need to pay 80 ₽ on the day when you distribute traffic;

Connecting and disconnecting

In order to connect the plan, you need to log into the MTS mobile application and follow the following simple algorithm of actions:

• Open the “Tariffs” tab, then “My tariff”.
• Choose your favorite offer from artificial intelligence.
• Confirm your choice by clicking on the banner of one of the proposed package options.

Disabling the “Personal” plan is possible by simply switching to another tariff plan, which can be done through a mobile application, personal account on the MTS website, USSD command (for each plan they are individual, you can find them on the company’s official website) or through a call to Call - operator center. The most radical way is to simply terminate the contract with Mobile TeleSystems.

Reasons why switching to the “Personal” tariff is impossible

Transition problems may arise in cases where:

• an outdated version of the mobile application is used (version 4.36 and higher is required);
• the previous tariff change occurred less than a week ago;
• Previously, the tariff used was not for a smartphone;
• the tariff cannot be recognized by artificial intelligence (needs to be clarified by the Call Center operator);
• the user is a VIP client and a list of services has already been established for him, directly stipulated by the contract.

How to activate a “Personal” tariff from MTS

• Buy a SIM card with a tariff on one of the many sites with all sorts of cheap unlimited plans from all operators. There are a sea of ​​links in Yandex and Google, look... I don’t advise anyone to do this, because there are no guarantees that the SIM card with the tariff will not be disconnected a week after purchase.
• A valid (but not always) way is to write an application to transfer from MTS to any other operator. If you are a subscriber with an average bill of more than 300 ₽ per month, there is a 90% chance that MTS technical support will call you back, inquire about the reasons for the transition and (maybe) offer a discount on the existing open tariff or one of the “Personal” tariff options for a period from 3 months to a year (here you need to bargain). The main thing is to withdraw the transfer application in time

How to connect

As you know, you can’t simply connect non-public tariffs; you need an invitation from the operator. But this does not mean that there is no legal way to connect one of the tariffs in the “Personal” line. There are two ways to do this.

1. Use the services of intermediaries who sell non-public tariffs. In this case, you will have to pay a couple of thousand rubles, but they will quickly pay for themselves, since the subscription fee is minimal.
2. Simulate switching to another mobile operator while maintaining the number. In this case, MTS employees will contact you within a day and try to find out the reason for switching to another operator. At the same time, some kind of bonus will be offered to keep you on MTS. Among such bonuses there may be a non-public tariff. Of course, we don’t undertake to guarantee this, it depends on your luck.

If you don’t like the non-public tariff for some reason, you can always switch to another one. But few subscribers do this, since the conditions here are really more attractive.
