In his case, it was the “Maximum” tariff, which had already become cheaper with the last update, and with a permanent 30% discount, the subscription fee for it was 553 rubles for 30 days. For Moscow and the region - quite good.
Previously, similar 30% discounts were provided as a personal offer, and only if you were lucky. Now you can get a discount offer in the mobile application when you try to change the tariff. I decided to try this method by changing my son’s tariff.

It all starts with the fact that a subscriber of the MegaFon operator wants to refuse the company’s services and writes an application to switch to someone else. In this case, within 48 hours after completing the application, messages begin to arrive on your phone number with the words “Dear Client! We regret that you have decided to leave the company. Today you can still change your mind and stay with us. An individual offer has been prepared for you: 50% discount on any tariff plan from the “Turn On” line forever + free unlimited Internet.”
It turns out that every telecommunications subscriber will receive a similar offer when trying to refuse its services. It is important that a 50% discount on payment for a tariff plan is provided not for one month or a year, but generally forever. This suggests that the mobile operator is really interested in retaining the client, and not losing him now or after some time, when this same discount could end.
To get a 50% discount, which allows you to pay half as much for the tariff, you need to write an SMS message to a specific number, or write to it on WhatsApp. You can also contact a special person via email who can cancel your application and activate all bonus services. Obviously, this is a very good way to reduce your communication and mobile Internet costs by half or more, because unlimited is really an extremely useful thing that allows you not to think about how much Internet is left until the end of the month.

Sequencing:
- Go to the Megafon application.
- Select “My tariff”.
- Scroll down the page and select “Change tariff”.
- Megafon asks you to explain what you are not happy with in the current tariff - there are not enough minutes, internet, the packages are too large or the tariff is too expensive. I chose the last option, since it is more suitable than others for receiving a discount, but I do not rule out that it is offered in others.
Megafon offered two options: the regular tariff “No overpayments. Internet" - 400 minutes and 20 GB for 500 rubles for 30 days and the "VIP" tariff with a 50% discount. Let's consider the parameters of this particular tariff.

Experienced discount hunters say that it is not necessary to waste time going to cell phone stores. It is enough to call the company's hotline and ask the operator what needs to be done to switch to the services of another mobile operator while maintaining the current phone number.

It turned out that this tariff is 5 rubles more expensive than the previous one for 30 days, but its content is noticeably better. Of course, I switched to a new tariff. Yes, it does not reach the level of coolness of some non-public tariffs, but in our case, everything is official and quite profitable.
