The “Minimum” tariff has the following parameters:
- Piggy bank service . Minutes and gigabytes paid for but not used within 30 days are not lost. The “surplus” is put aside in an indefinite “piggy bank” and is used in the future as needed. However, you must top up your balance monthly by at least the amount of the subscription fee;
- Distribution of the Internet (implementation of “tethering”). Paid gigabytes can be transferred without restrictions to any Internet communication devices via USB or Wi-Fi;
- Megafon protection . When a subscriber switches to the “Minimum” tariff, automatic subscription to paid services “in one click” becomes impossible. To carry out such an action, subscriber confirmation is required;
- WhatsApp, Viber, eMotion, Facebook Messenger, TamTam and Snapchat work with a zero or negative balance on the phone account. You can send written and voice messages until the nearest date when the tariff fee is debited from the balance;

Important! The ability to send free SMS messages is not provided in the “Minimum” tariff plan.

How is the subscription fee charged?
When purchasing a new SIM card or switching to MegaFon from another mobile operator, the subscription fee is charged once a day for 15 days. Then the entire amount for the remaining 15 days of the tariff plan is charged at once. Subsequently, the fee is regularly withdrawn from the balance immediately after 30 days.
If there is no money in the account at the time the subscription fee is charged, the package is renewed automatically, but you can use the provided minutes and gigabytes only after replenishing the balance.
Note: If the limit of paid gigabytes has not been exhausted, but the money on the phone runs out, then the availability of instant messengers remains even with a zero or negative balance.
If you run out of minutes or Internet traffic
- On-net calls are free and unlimited;
- Calls to any numbers other than MegaFon will cost RUB 3.00 per minute;
- If the entire volume of traffic has ended, the operator will limit your access to the network (messengers will remain). You will either have to wait for the next subscription fee to be charged and a new package of 6 GB, or, if you don’t want to wait and need Internet access, you can connect traffic packages of 1, 3, 5 or 10 GB. (in your personal account or application) for 50/100/150 and 450 rubles, respectively.
Line "Turn on"
The line was created for owners of modern devices and smartphones that allow access to the World Wide Web. Contracts provide the subscriber with a certain number of free minutes, mobile traffic and messages in a certain territory of coverage. Each TP from the line is designed to solve specific problems, listening to music, correspondence or voice communication.
The subscription fee is automatically debited every billing month on the day the contract was established. If at this moment the user’s balance is minus or there are insufficient funds, the number’s service is temporarily suspended until the debt is reimbursed. During the first activation or transition, only half of the payment is debited, the rest is charged after two weeks. The set of gigabytes, minutes and messages are updated on the day of the transaction.

Megafon “Per Second” tariff – description and transition
Megafon's "Per Second" tariff is noticeably different from the tariff lines offered to subscribers. It is intended for those people who do not want to pay for services they do not need and are not willing to overpay for communications. This offer will be especially beneficial for the least active customers who do not spend much time on telephone conversations and almost never use the mobile Internet. Its main distinguishing feature is the complete absence of a subscription fee. Users contribute money only for actions actually performed, and therefore are able to fully control their own expenses for cellular communications.
Tariff “Per-second” Megafon – description
The main features of tariffing are already indicated above. It does not require regular subscription fees (if you save money, you can make payments only a few times a year), but does not include the usual service packages. At the same time, in addition to standard calls, messages and network access, clients are provided with additional options:

Mobile Internet
The main weakness of a tariff plan without a subscription fee on an expensive mobile Internet. For using 1 megabyte of traffic you will have to pay 9.9 rubles. The conditions are the same both when you are in the connection region and when traveling around the country. There are no restrictions on the amount of available traffic; the main thing is that users have the required amount that can cover the connection fee.
The only way to reduce Internet costs is to simply connect an additional option with pre-allocated traffic. There are no other methods of saving on visiting websites and using virtual services.
SMS and MMS
The cost of messages on Megafon’s “Per Second” tariff deserves special attention:
- SMS within the home region – 1.9 rubles for each sending;
- An SMS message to other regions of Russia is estimated at 3.9 rubles;
- mms – 7 rub. for each.
The description cannot be complete without mentioning the price for messages while traveling around the country. In such situations, a single price is established - 3 rubles. for the message. Sending SMS when abroad depends on the country in which the subscriber finds himself. It should be specified separately on the company’s portal in the section dedicated to roaming.
How to activate a per-second tariff on Megafon?
Determining how to switch to the “Per Second” tariff from Megafon is much more difficult than finding answers to a similar question regarding the transition to other tariffs. This is due to the actions of the operator who limited the activation order. Switching to new conditions is allowed only in communication shops; you won’t be able to do it yourself.
To change the conditions in the office, you need to prepare a passport in advance and inform the manager about your desire. Changing the tariff is free of charge if subscribers do not abuse this action. If you change tariffs more than once a month, the switching price will be 99 rubles.
Shutdown
Deactivation involves replacing old conditions with new ones. You can change the tariff:
- using USSD commands;
- in your personal account;
- using the voice menu;
- by sending an SMS to the service phone.
If the user intends to completely refuse the operator’s services, he should independently disable paid services and stop using the SIM card. After six months it will be deactivated.
An alternative solution would be to visit a communication salon and write an application to terminate the subscription agreement. All you need is a passport and confidence that you have no debts to the telephone company.

The contract is designed for use in modem devices and routers. The cost of downloading one megabyte is 2.5 rubles. There are no mandatory fees or subscription fees. The amount of traffic you spend is the amount you will have to pay.
Mobile Internet for cash register equipment
At the moment, the tax service requires that every entrepreneur send checks and receipts for any transaction for verification. To do this, the operator provides unlimited traffic at a speed of 32 kbit per second for 100 rubles per month.
Managing remote objects
The tariff was created for remote control and receiving information from special IoT/M2M equipment. Traffic rounding and accounting is performed one kilobit at a time. The cost for each downloaded megabyte is 1.5 rubles.

Why “No overpayments. Maximum” does not reach the title of a full-fledged VIP tariff?
The only thing that distinguishes this package from the “real” premium “VIP” and “Premium” tariffs (besides the monthly cost and larger packages of minutes) is the accumulation of free roaming days for using the tariff. There is no such feature on Maximum.

The new Megafon line includes 5 basic and 2 premium packages. Each of them differs in its content.
Key features of the line:
- Unused paid gigabytes of the Internet do not expire at the end of the month , but are stored in a special “Piggy Bank” for an unlimited time. After the main package expires, the accumulated gigabytes begin to be used up automatically. The “piggy bank” is connected manually in the mobile application in the “Services” section.
- Tariff users are given the opportunity to communicate in instant messengers even with a negative balance .
- Subscribers have access to free distribution of mobile Wi-Fi to others. The service is provided free of charge and without restrictions.
- All plans include protection against unwanted paid subscriptions . The system sends a notification asking you to confirm the request.
- All users are automatically connected to the Megafon TV package for free , which contains 50 television channels. When watching programs within the program, mobile traffic is not consumed.

Personal opinion
A very good tariff. Two main features that I already highlighted at the very beginning: a small subscription fee and unlimited within the network.
The package of minutes is spent only on local mobile numbers of other operators, which is not very good, but for the money it will do.
The mobile Internet package is modest, but there is unlimited messaging for messengers, which will help save some traffic. There is also an Internet piggy bank, which sends traffic unused during the billing period to the reserve.
This is far from the first time that a mobile operator has excluded the cheapest tariff from its lineup for Moscow. It’s a bit of a shame, but what can you do – this is the current reality in the field of mobile communications.
