Service "Cartoons"
This service provides the user with access to a large number of cartoons directly from your smartphone/tablet. You and your children can watch cartoons without worrying about the consumption of Internet traffic, because when watching cartoons it is not consumed (see the list of services where you can watch cartoons).
The cost is 8 rubles per day, or 248 rubles per month.
Act 3. I'm not alone. Other TELE2 subscribers have the same problems with paid subscriptions.
Today (July 21) it turned out that the problem with paid subscriptions from Tele2 in the Oryol region is widespread. Many subscribers fell for the same bait. Here is a discussion on one of the VKontakte pages.
I concluded for myself that tele2 is in the same hole as the other operators.
You can say that Tele2 has nothing to do with it, because they didn’t connect you. Hmm, unlikely, since Tele2 can block such subscriptions automatically.
One could argue that 30 rubles is not the amount to panic about. But the problem is widespread and, as it turns out, the operator does not want to do anything about it.
Act 1. While the smartphone was in his pocket, he subscribed to the newsletter.
Friends, I’ll tell you my story. Tele2 has always been about honesty, but on July 19 I came across an extremely interesting subscription. I'm at work, sitting and working. Phone in pocket. And then an SMS arrives:
I just subscribed to some site that I haven't even visited. According to the law on advertising, I had to clearly express my consent to the subscription, but here I was subscribed automatically and without my participation. It is clear that 30 rubles were written off automatically.
I don’t specifically disable the subscription, I didn’t connect it, even if they debited me 30 rubles a day, this is done without my participation. I am writing to Tele2 technical support.
The girl disconnects my subscription and tells me that within 7 days the money will be returned to me (at the post office they are already reporting that they will not return it, but will submit it for review.) . No registration number, no notification to my email, nothing. He only warns me not to surf on illegal sites. Hmm, it’s a very convenient position to say that it’s my own fault. But I still have a head on my shoulders, I understand perfectly well that I didn’t do anything at that moment and I don’t fall for this trick. I don't recommend it to you either.
Well, I think ok, I’ll write an email, as a loyal customer (2 SIM cards), my problem will be solved quickly. Yeah. Now.
Act 2. It's your own fault.
I receive a response from Tele2. They made me feel guilty without understanding my situation. Just like in the situation with the goal of Alexey Nadezhin and MTS. The meaning of their answer is simple - you yourself subscribed to the newsletter:
Subscription data is connected when visiting sites and applications on the Internet, as a result of clicking on pop-up windows. This is a brilliant unsubscribe from Tele2. You need to seriously talk to your phone so that it does not go to sites while it is in a blocked state.
Features of disabling individual services
It is necessary to dwell in more detail on several popular options of the Tele2 company, because... their connection and disconnection have their own peculiarities. Short USSD commands do not always work, and to cancel services via the Internet you need to go to the service websites.
How to disable the Internet service for 5 rubles
In 2021, the Internet service for 5 rubles is not provided; moreover, there was no replacement for it in the tariff plans of the Tele 2 company. Now, in general, there are no options for unlimited Internet. Tariff plans and additional services set limits on the amount of traffic used.
The “Internet for 5 rubles” feature involves the use of a special Opera Mini browser from Tele2, in which for 5 rubles a day you can use the Internet without restrictions.
If this option was enabled earlier and has not yet been disabled, you need to check the functionality of the service. In the future, using the itemization of expenses or through the company’s help desk, you can determine whether the money is written off or not. If the money is debited and the service does not work, you must contact Tele2 employees in the showroom or through the help desk.
Short commands to connect/disconnect “Internet for 5 rubles” do not work; there are no links to the service on the company’s website.
How to disable paid subscriptions
Services can “eat up” a huge amount of money from the balance. If you accidentally connected yourself to a “Cartoons” subscription and want to remove it, but don’t know how, we will help you.
Via USSD commands
You can disable your subscription using a simple command. Enter *931# and turn off everything you don't need.
Using your personal account and the My Tele2 application
Everything here is already clear - as is the case with checking subscriptions.
- Go to the official tele2 website of your region.
- Log in to your account using your phone number and SMS code/password.
- Go to the menu.
- Disable any services you don't need.
Via Tele2 hotline
Call the operator at 611 and ask to remove all services that waste money from your balance.
Thus, we looked at the “Cartoons” service from tele2. Now you know what it is and how to disable it.
