Terms of use "Bit"

The conditions for using this option are as follows:

• tariffs depend on the country of residence and range from 450 to 1300 rubles per day;
• payment is withdrawn at the moment when the subscriber accesses the Internet for the first time; accordingly, if the person has not used the network, the money will not be withdrawn from the account;
• traffic is limited to a certain quota of 75 MB/day, after it is exhausted, you can use 50 MB packages 15 times until the next day, each auxiliary package costs 8 rubles;
• in the case when a person changes the country of residence during the day, the tariff will also change;
• the remainder of unused traffic is not carried over to the next period and is burned;
• the subscriber has the right to refuse the provision of additional Internet volume;
• You can only use the Internet while roaming.

When using the Bit Out of Bound feature, you may experience a decrease in network speed. This can be eliminated by connecting a turbo button, in the mode of which you can also purchase additional traffic.

This is a large-scale Internet option that affects many international roaming parameters. You can read its detailed description here, but now let’s look only at the mobile Internet.

• Popular countries of the world - consumed from the mobile Internet package (after 500 MB per day, a speed limit of 128 Kb/s is activated).
• Other countries - from 1 to 100 MB per day. In some countries, after the end of the quota, a speed limit is activated, while in others, the Internet stops working altogether.
• There are also countries where the “Foreign” option does not work at all.

Description of the “Bit Abroad” option MTS

This function has several modes. In order for the user to better understand which connection option is optimal, it is necessary to consider these proposals in detail.

Bit abroad

This option provides a number of services that can be purchased for a minimal fee. Subscribers will be able to use 75 MB every day outside the country. The subscription fee is 200 rubles, the function is valid in the Russian Federation.

If the traffic is exhausted, the client has the opportunity to purchase 15 packages of 50 MB for 8 rubles each. In this case, unused traffic will be burned.

We can say that this is a standard offer with a basic set of services. The most profitable option from the list in terms of cost.

Maxi bit abroad

This mode allows you to use the network abroad without overpaying for options. The fee will not be charged if the user has not accessed the network. The subscription fee is 450 rubles.

The obvious advantage of this option is the ability to connect to any tariff plan. In this case, the subscriber can use Google maps, email, social networks and other services.

It should be noted that the first 200 MB are provided without any speed restrictions, but then the speed will drop to 128 Kbps.

Super beat abroad

The subscription fee for this offer is 700 rubles. The Internet abroad can be used unlimitedly and without speed restrictions. You can activate the service on any of the MTS tariffs.

• Internet speed may be low, up to 128 Kbps;

To ensure that packages are used efficiently, it is recommended to disable automatic updates of programs and services.

Price

The fee for using the function is daily and depends on the state of residence. The prices are as follows:

• standard offer - from 450 to 1300 rubles per day;
• Maxi bit - from 700 to 2400 rubles;
• Super bit - from 1600 to 4500 rubles.

The subscription fee will be charged at the time of connection, then the amount of payment depends on the country where the subscriber is located. If there is not enough money in the account, the option will be suspended; its operation will resume when the balance is replenished with the required amount of funds.

Connecting packages

There are several ways to connect packages. They need to be considered in more detail:

1. Using USSD commands. Moreover, their different values ​​are responsible for different modes. In particular, the request *111*2222# will connect the standard Bit, the code *111*2223# will connect the Maxi Bit, and the command *111*2224# will activate the Super Bit.
2. Using SMS message. You will need to text “2222” to 111. This will activate the basic package. To enable more advanced modes, you need to type the text “2223” for Maxi Bit and “2224” for Super Bit.
3. Using the help desk. You need to call 8-800-25-00-890, after which you will inform the operator about your problem. An employee will help resolve the issue.
4. Log in to your personal account. You need to go to the official website of the provider, register or log into your personal account. After this, you need to go to the “Services” tab and select the required option. After this, activate the function.

To activate the offer, you need to have enough funds in your account so that the subscription amount is debited without any problems.

What is the service

This option is designed specifically for those who want to remain an MTS subscriber even outside the country, but wireless Internet services and a mobile network are not suitable for them. When connected, you receive unlimited traffic. You will need to pay four hundred and fifty rubles for this (daily) - depending on where you are in a particular place, the price may vary. In which countries does it operate:

• Italy;
• Greece;
• Germany;
• Great Britain;
• Romania and others.

The first hundred megabytes are high-speed Internet, and then it’s 128 kbits per second.

Residents of Belarus can get fifty megabytes for three hundred rubles a day; in other countries prices are higher. In the region of Croatia, China, Estonia, etc. - for three hundred eighty rubles.

Of course, the cost is not the cheapest, but these conditions are several times more profitable than in the case of paying for each megabyte when using a mobile network. If you want to save traffic and spend it so that fifty megabytes is enough for you, it is better to disable auto-updates of applications on your device for a while, you can also turn off advertising.

Shutdown

You can disable the service using the following methods:

• by re-sending the USSD command *111*2222#, *111*2223#, *111*2224#, respectively, for each mode;
• message “STOP” to number 111;
• visit your personal account and disable the option in the services section;
• call 8-800-25-00-890 and explain the situation, the staff will help resolve it.

It should be noted that you can disable or activate the option at the company’s office, but you will need a passport and SIM card. This is the most difficult method and is not often used. Therefore, it is recommended to use other options for connecting/disconnecting the service.

How to disable?

The option is disabled by re-dialing the combination corresponding to each option, or by sending an SMS with the same text, but with the addition of 0. Or the service will stop working as soon as you arrive in Russia, and will start working as soon as you cross the border of the Russian Federation.

If the traffic package ends prematurely, access will be limited until the next day.

Turbo button

Two modes from this line have restrictions on traffic and Internet speed while abroad. 75 megabytes of traffic may not be enough for some people, especially in cases where they need to visit social networks or send a couple of messages in the messenger.

It is for such clients that the “Turbo Button” option was created, which protects against such problems and provides additional traffic. The service is paid; upon activation you will need to pay 450 rubles.

For this amount, the subscriber will be able to use another 30 MB of Internet; if more is needed, the cost of the turbo button will also increase. This option also increases Internet speed, which is its main advantage.

You can connect it using the command *111*485# or through your personal account on the company’s website.

Is it possible to do all these steps using your personal account?

This is one of the most comfortable options. Every MTS subscriber should have a personal account - with its help you can make details, monitor connected services, check the balance, transfer funds from one account to another and much more.

If you are going to travel abroad and want to check whether you have successfully connected certain options, you need to use one of the following services:
