Internet "Maxi" MTS is available primarily for modem users and in corporate packages. The MTS “Maxi” tariff is one of the five packages for network users and is one of two unlimited offers.

Tariff “4G Maxi” MTS Belarus – description

• 3 gigabytes of mobile Internet on the LTE network.
• 1000 minutes for calls to MTS numbers.
• Subscription fee is 18.95 rubles per month.

When the packages of minutes and traffic are spent, regular tariffs will begin to apply. The system will also send you an alert when your gigabytes or calls are running low.

Additionally, you can connect special options with which you can expand the packages. To control the plan and activated services, it is recommended to download and log in to the operator’s application.

When you exhaust the available 1000 minutes for calls, the price will be 0.0041r/min. When gigabytes are exhausted, a fixed cost for traffic will begin to apply:

1. The first 100MB are provided for 1.68 BYN. ruble
2. The next 200 to 500 megabytes spent will cost 3.43 rubles.
3. Up to 2GB – 8.04 rub.

Conditions and restrictions on use

As part of the connected package, the user of the company's networks is provided with 50 GB of traffic for a month in the Moscow region and an additional 6 GB in other regions of Russia. You can use packet data in 2, 3 and 4G networks.

Any client of the operator in the Moscow region can use MTS, with the exception of subscribers connected under Hype packages, Smart, Online, Ultra tariff lines, as well as users of the Cool, Caring, Mayak, iPad and SIM offers of all versions.

It is impossible to use the function for clients who have series packages connected:

• Internet mini, VIP, Unlimited, Mayhem, Super, ;
• Connect all tariff options;
• The entire Unlimited line;
• MTS Tablet.

The restriction applies regardless of modification of the user's tariff plan.

Other terms of use:

• When all package traffic is consumed, new gigabytes will be available only on the start date of the new payment period;
• The consumption of the provided data volumes occurs in kilobytes;
• To access the network as part of a package offer, only the addresses internet.mts.ru, wap.mts.ru need to be entered in the name of the APN access point; when using other points, standard tariffs will be applied;
• When using maxi, it is impossible to connect BIT SMART and SUPERBIT SMART products;
• The traffic effect does not apply to the use of paid WAP services.

Saving Opportunities

The MTS “4G Maxi” tariff allows Belarusian subscribers to save big on cellular communications. If you wish, you can activate additional options designed specifically for your tariff line. At the moment you can connect:

• Box 4G. The service allows you to transfer unused packages to the next month. To activate it, dial *305#. The cost of the subscription fee is 1.03 rubles per month.
• Favorite phones. The feature allows you to add five different numbers that you can call for free without worrying about traffic. At the same time, the added subscribers must use MTS communications. Dial *365#.
• All networks. Subscription fee – 3.6 rubles per month. Users are provided with an additional package of calls, within which they can make calls to any numbers. To add an option, dial *350#.

The operator also offers subscribers an excellent option to save on mobile communications. Users can activate full unlimited access on social networks with a subscription fee of 2 rubles per month.

Cost and payment system

Payment for services at the maxi tariff according to the terms of the contract occurs on a monthly basis, in full. However, if the subscriber does not have enough funds in his account on the date of the next debit, and the service remains activated, he will be charged a daily fee of 35 rubles until the balance allows the monthly cost to be debited.

The cost of servicing the tariff plan is 800 rubles/month. Each additional gigabyte over the limit costs 150 rubles.

The date of the next payment according to the tariff plan is the day the option is activated, i.e. if the service was activated by the user on the 5th day of the current month, then every subsequent 5th day the subscription fee will be charged.

In cases where the client was provided with data on a daily basis, the next debit date will be the same as the date on which the full payment was made. For example, on the 5th of the month there were insufficient funds and the full amount was replenished only on the 10th. From that moment on, subsequent payments will be charged every 10th, and on the same date the quota for the provided data will be updated.

When the client leaves his home region, the quota and the service continue to apply, while a commission of 50 rubles is deducted from the account daily for providing use of the service in another district.

• “Mini” costing 500 rubles/month. This tariff gives you 7 GB of traffic for 30 days (for 24 hours);
• “Maxi” costs 800 rubles/month. With it you will receive 15 GB during the daytime and unlimited Internet access at night (from 1:00 to 7:00);
• Unlimited Internet 4G VIP is the most profitable and expensive offer from the operator. You must pay 1200 rubles per month. For this money you will be provided with 30 GB of daily traffic and complete unlimited at night.

Additional Information

After activation, you will be able to additionally activate special options included with the tariff. The list of auxiliary functions includes:

1. Online assistant.
2. Free MMS setup.
3. You can activate international roaming if you are traveling abroad.

However, before connecting the “Internet-VIP” option, you should familiarize yourself with its features. The official page describing the option provides a minimum of information, but we dug much deeper. The “Internet-VIP” options from MTS are characterized by the following features:

1. The “Internet-VIP” option is available for connection on almost all tariffs, but the indicated subscription fee is relevant only for the “Connect-4” tariff. At other tariffs, the option will cost 100 rubles more.
2. The description of the option states that its effect extends throughout Russia. This is true, but if the subscriber is outside the home region, an additional fee will be charged - 50 rubles per day. The fee is automatically charged the first time you access the Internet.
3. If the daily traffic package is exhausted, the subscriber is automatically provided with an additional 3 GB, the cost of which is 350 rubles. Within a month, you can connect up to 15 such additional packages. To refuse the provision of additional traffic, call the operator or use your MTS personal account.
4. When in intranet roaming in the Kamchatka Territory, Magadan Region, Chukotka and Taimyr Autonomous Okrug, the speed within the current quota is limited to 128 Kbps, and if the quota is exceeded, to 0 Kbps.
5. The actual speed may differ from the declared one and depends on the technical parameters of the MTS mobile communication network and other circumstances affecting the quality of communication. This condition is stated in the document with a detailed description of the option and in essence it means that the Internet speed can drop at any time, and the reason for this is some circumstances or technical parameters of the network.

These are all features that, in our opinion, deserve attention and have official confirmation. If you believe the reviews about the “Internet-VIP” option, then a number of other shortcomings can be identified, but they are not confirmed and we will not discuss them.

How to completely disconnect from the Internet on MTS?

How to turn off the Internet on MTS? The question is relevant if you plan to use the device in roaming, if the phone is intended for children or the elderly. Disconnection is free of charge. The “Internet” option can be disabled in several ways:

1. Contact the operator. Dial 8–800–250–08–90 and explain the essence of the request. The shutdown procedure will be carried out by company representatives.
2. On the MTS website you can do this yourself using the “Internet Assistant” in your “Personal Account”. This is the preferred option.
3. In the MTS store. The most difficult path and not the most reliable. It makes sense to check the execution of the shutdown later.
