Redirecting calls to another phone is a very convenient option; it can be useful in many situations - for example, when the subscriber often leaves the coverage area, but at the same time he always needs to stay in touch. However, it happens that there is no need for it, and then the question arises of how to disable forwarding to MTS.


There are several ways to deactivate the option, and so that you can choose the most optimal one, we suggest considering each method in more detail.

Financial inquiries

In order not to spend extra money on mobile communications, you need to be able to control expenses and regularly check your phone balance. The easiest way to control your account status is through USSD requests.

Useful commands:

  • *100#—short phone number to check account balance;
  • *152# - when sending this request, the subscriber will receive an SMS containing a list of the last 5 paid actions;
  • *152*1# — check expenses on your phone for the current day;
  • *152*4# — request to check the crediting of funds (when replenishing the balance through a payment terminal);
  • *116*phone# - sending a request to top up the balance (a corresponding message will be sent to the specified number);
  • *115# — connection (to top up your account from a bank card);
  • *111*123# - enable the promised payment (available if the balance is at least 30 rubles).

Connection and control

First, you need to connect to this service. To do this, do one of the following:

  • USSD command *111*40#;
  • message with text 2111 to short number 111;
  • personal account on the official MTS website or mobile application for smartphones.

Let's look at the instructions for enabling the service through your personal account:

  • log in to mts.ru;
  • in the left menu select “Settings”;
  • go to the “Call Forwarding” subsection;
  • then in the “Conditions” section, check the box that suits you in terms of its characteristics. If you select the “if does not respond” option, then do not forget to set the time;
  • enter the number to which redirection will be made;
  • here you can enable the service of forwarding to voicemail;
  • To complete the settings, click on the “Apply” button.

Connecting and disconnecting the service is free. Calls are billed according to your tariff. This also applies to calls while roaming. To configure, use one of the following commands:

  • unconditional call forwarding - **21*number#;
  • number is busy - **67*number#;
  • outside the network coverage area - **62*number#;
  • no response for some time - **61*number#.

The number must fit with +7.

Description of service

Call forwarding is the ability of a mobile network to redirect an incoming call from one phone to another. The essence of the service is quite simple: when you make a call to a specific phone number, the call is automatically redirected to a pre-designated other phone number. The addressee in this case can be any number in the world.

Initially, this option was more used by business people even before the advent of phones like Samsung Duos, capable of receiving calls simultaneously on two cards from one or two cellular operators. In this case, the subscriber could be reached under any circumstances only if the forwarding service was activated.

You can configure the option through the menu in the “Call Settings” section. You must select the appropriate forwarding type from the list provided and save the changes. If necessary, the subscriber can select not one, but several numbers at once for call forwarding.

How to disable forwarding?

You can remove unconditional forwarding by sending a system request ##002#. Immediately after dialing the number and sending the code, the option on the phone will be deactivated. This USSD number is valid on all Russian television systems.

Methods for disabling conditional forwarding for various television systems can be found on the website, in your personal account, at the telesystem office, or by calling the technical support phone of a particular provider.

Rates

First of all, you need to check what contract is currently installed on the SIM card. Dial *111*59#. To control the balance of free minutes and messages in the current billing period - *100*1#. If you are planning a trip or vacation in Russia or abroad, first of all, you should set up your mobile device for favorable roaming conditions and know useful MTS commands. Otherwise, you risk a significant hit to your financial situation. For such purposes, the MTS provider has developed special options:

  1. Incoming when traveling around Russia. After activation, all incoming calls will be charged according to your home region, completely free of charge. Installation *111*473#.
  2. Everywhere feels like home. Incoming calls are free, all outgoing calls are at the same price of 3 rubles per minute of conversation throughout the country. Connection cost is 30 rubles. *111*3333#.
  3. All Russia Smart. Communicate in other regions at home prices. Subscription fee – 100 rubles. in a monthly period. *111*1031# activation.
  4. Zero without borders. This option allows you to receive all incoming calls for free from the first minute of communication. Daily payments are provided - 95 rubles. *419*1233#.

During your travels, enable expense notifications to always be aware of your balance. This option is very useful in roaming - *111*588#. Use a special roaming portal - *111*33#, which will always tell you about the possibility of saving.

Mobile app

Deactivation of services through a mobile application is carried out in the same way as through a personal account. To do this you need:

  • log into the software using your existing login and password;
  • go to the “Services” menu on the main page of the application;

  • study the list and uncheck the box next to the unnecessary package.

The shutdown will occur at the same moment. The subscriber will not need to do anything additional to confirm the action. Then you can find the same options in the “Available” category.

Additional features

When a customer activates this option, they will have additional options available to manage all incoming calls. To do this, the operator has provided several code commands for the cell phone. They allow you to reject calls, as well as accept or hold them. You can do this this way:

  • by simultaneously pressing 0 and the call button, the client rejects the incoming call;
  • if you press 2 and the call button, the current conversation will be put on hold and the second call will be accepted;
  • by pressing the number 1 and the “call” button, the client can end the current conversation and immediately accept a new incoming one;
  • If you dial a contact number during a conversation and click on “call,” the current call is placed on hold and a new call is made.

When activating the option outside the country, tariffs will be applied according to a double standard, so it is recommended to disable forwarding when traveling. The option is provided to customers free of charge. There is no charge for connection and use. The easiest way to activate the function is using a code combination or in your personal profile on the operator’s portal. If you have problems with activation, you should call the MTS service center.

Mobile operator help

You can deactivate any services and options by contacting the operator at the following numbers:

  • within the network of Russia and Belarus - 0890 (free call);
  • in roaming - +7 495 7660166;
  • from landline phones and numbers of other companies - 8 800 250 0890.

You can visit the company's sales office to disable unnecessary functions yourself. In this case, you will need to take your ID with you.

You may need to disable the forwarding service not only when there are no funds left on your balance. Very often, it is only needed by extremely busy people or for business, when one number receives a huge number of calls and the load needs to be slightly reduced. For ordinary operator clients, this function is not always needed. You can do without it if we are talking about a dozen calls a day.
