Review of the advantages and disadvantages of non-public tariff plans

Rumors about tariffs that are not for a wide range of users are passed on by word of mouth by subscribers of the Big Three. And yes, indeed, such service packages exist, and if you look hard enough, you can use them too. But the operator does not recognize non-public Tele2 tariffs. On his website, he emphasizes that he does not hide tariffs from subscribers. There are no special rates that are only available to employees or VIP clients. Anyone can take advantage of the package of services presented on the site.

Benefits and costs of hidden tariffs

All closed tariff plans have a common feature. Subscribers using them receive a wide range of communication services at a relatively modest cost. Each proposal has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, there are advantages that are relevant for everyone:

  • The monthly subscription fee is significantly less than the cost of open tariffs;
  • for the billing period, subscribers are provided with large packages of services (minutes, local and long-distance calls and Internet traffic);
  • the presence of unique options that are available for connection only on a specific tariff, for example, unlimited communication throughout the country or free incoming calls in roaming, etc.

How to connect a tariff

Since the tariff is not displayed on the Tele2 website, connecting it is somewhat complicated.

  1. Firstly, it is simply impossible to find out about the availability of a package - you need to wait for the corresponding announcement, advertising and other information.
  2. Secondly, even if you have the information, it is difficult to connect the service through operators.

From here there are 2 ways to connect to a tariff plan.

The first is to wait for a call or message from the Tele2 operator offering a tariff. In such cases, as a rule, they call existing Tele2 subscribers, having carefully studied their use of cellular communications.

But if someone who wants to change the tariff is already a subscriber of the presented operator, then he can apply for connection on his own. To do this, perform the following steps:

  • You need to go to the official Tele2 website.
  • Next, select the “Mobile Communications” tab and open the “Tariffs” section.

  • A page will open in which all tariffs available for public use will be presented. You need to scroll through the entire list and find the “Found a better offer?” form.

  • You need to click on the “Call me” button.
  • A form will open for you to fill in with data. In the appropriate fields, enter your phone number and name, how you can contact the applicant.
  • Finally, click the “Submit” button.

Thus, you can submit an application to switch to the “Personal MG” tariff. Within 3 days, an operator will contact the applicant, wanting to know what kind of proposal they are talking about. You can discuss the issue of connecting to the presented tariff plan.

To switch to the “Personal MG” tariff plan, you need to top up your account in the amount of 250 rubles. This is not a transition fee, but payment for the first month of using the service package.

The most current tariffs with favorable conditions

There are two lines of secret tariffs from Tele2:

  • "Unlimited";
  • "Companion".

Each of them has three tariffs. The subscriber can choose the option that includes the volume of services he needs.

The counter for spent minutes, SMS and gigabytes of traffic is updated every 30 days. If at the end of this period the packages have not been completely used up, the balance is transferred to the next month. The option does not require a separate connection and is provided free of charge.

"Unlimited"

The subscriber is offered the following set of communication services:

  • free calls within the operator’s network throughout the Russian Federation;
  • 500 min. for outgoing calls to numbers of other Russian providers;
  • 50 text and multimedia messages (the sending counter is valid for SMS and MMS simultaneously);
  • free inbox when staying in a roaming zone;
  • unlimited internet access throughout the country.

The cost for one month of use can be up to 560 rubles. The exact price depends on the region in which the SIM card is issued. At 400-500 rubles. the tariff will cost residents of the Far East and Central Siberia. In the European part of the Russian Federation the price is lower. For example, for Moscow and the Moscow region, “Unlimited” costs 158 rubles. You can find out the exact cost in a specific region by visiting the official Internet portal of the provider or by calling the short number 636 (only from Tele2 SIM cards).

"Unlimited+"

This is an improved version of the previous proposal. It provides subscribers with the same range of services, but with an increased package of minutes up to 500. They are valid for calls to numbers of Russian telecom operators. Depending on the region of registration of the SIM card, the cost of monthly service can range from 150 to 500 rubles.

"Premium"

This offer differs from others in the line in that it is distributed for a fixed price of 250 rubles. per month. It is relevant for all regions of Russia. The tariff plan includes:

  • unlimited calls to intranet numbers throughout the Russian Federation;
  • free incoming calls in the roaming zone;
  • 5000 minutes - valid for all operators in the country for calls from outside the home zone;
  • 50 SMS;
  • 40 GB of Internet traffic operating in 3G and 4G networks.

"Companion"

The Kompanion tariff line from Tele2 can work on numbers registered in the following constituent entities of the Russian Federation:

  • Moscow;
  • Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar region;
  • Kirov, Chelyabinsk region.

There are three versions of the tariff plan: S, M, L. They differ from each other in the volume of communication service packages available to subscribers, but have common features:

  • free calls within the network throughout Russia;
  • no roaming when moving around the country;
  • the provided minutes are valid for calls to the numbers of all providers registered in the Russian Federation, as well as to landline phones;
  • The traffic included in the tariff plan operates throughout the entire territory of the state, with the exception of the city of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea.

“Companion” tariffs S, M and L from Tele2 offer:

Package type:SML
minutes5001 0002 000
Messages100200300
Internet traffic in GB203050

Owners of SIM cards with an activated tariff from the Companion line receive exclusive unlimited access to the following Internet resources:

  • social networks VKontakte, Facebook and Odnoklassniki (only through mobile applications);
  • messengers Viber and WhatsApp (the option applies only to text communication; when sending multimedia files, traffic is consumed from the package);
  • Yandex services: “Maps”, “Transport” and “Navigator”.

Cost of services above the limit

The prices for one minute of connection after the end of the provided packages are the same for all closed Tele2 tariffs:

  • within the network in the home zone - always free;
  • in the home region for other operators - 1.95 rubles;
  • in Russia - 9 rubles.

Text messages will cost:

  • 1.5 rub. — by region of registration of the SIM card;
  • 2.5 rub. - in the Russian Federation.

Additional services

Tele2 offers unique options for non-public tariffs that are not available on regular tariff plans:

  1. 50% discount on all purchased communication services, including monthly subscription fee for 1990 rubles. By purchasing the option, the subscriber reduces his costs by half. The service is valid for the entire time you use the SIM card.
  2. 20 GB of traffic every month for free. The service costs 2990 rubles. It always works. Traffic is added every 30 days. The user only needs to purchase it once.
  3. 400 minutes for calls within the Russian Federation, accrued every month, 2990 rubles. Just like with other options, this one is purchased once and is valid until the SIM card is blocked.

These services are relevant for users who constantly use their phone. It is enough to connect them once by paying for activation, and every month packages will be credited to the number, and all paid operations will be provided with a 50% discount.

Non-public Tele2 options

All closed Tele2 tariffs include unique options that make communication even more enjoyable. The mobile operator is constantly changing and adding to such options, making them more attractive to its customers. In 2021, Tele2 offers to take advantage of one of three unique offers.

Permanent 50% discount

If you wish, you can get a 50% discount on any standard tariff plan. The promotion is valid in all regions of Russia, without any restrictions. The cost of the starter package is 1990 rubles.

20 GB for 0 rub/month

For subscribers who have subscribed to the Tele2 VIP package, 20 GB of Internet is available indefinitely. This option is valid in all regions of the Russian Federation; if desired, it can be combined with a 50% discount. It is noteworthy that there is no monthly fee. You can use the Internet from the operator completely free of charge. The cost of the package is 2990 rubles.

400 minutes for 0 rub/month

For 2990 rubles you can buy an option that provides 400 minutes per month to all numbers of Russian operators. This option can be connected to any current Tele2 tariff. The uniqueness of this offer is that there is no subscription fee, that is, the service pays for itself very quickly.

Methods for connecting closed Tele2 tariffs

Non-public tariff plans are closed for connection through Tele2 branches. You cannot come to a sales office and buy a SIM card. You can get a number with a corporate offer:

  • free from the operator as part of a promotion;
  • paid from unofficial sellers.

Via operator

Tele2 may offer hidden tariffs to subscribers who have completed their cooperation with the company. When a citizen blocks his SIM card or goes to another operator, keeping the number, Tele2 wants to keep the client and offers him a profitable, usually hidden, tariff plan.

Organizations can obtain corporate SIM cards by contacting their telecom operator. A service agreement is concluded between them, and Tele2 issues numbers to their employees.

Through an independent distributor

Non-public Tele 2 tariffs can be purchased from third-party sellers. There are many stores online that offer similar services. When a citizen pays for the service, he receives an already activated SIM card.

Before purchasing a SIM card from a third-party seller, you should make sure that they are honest. Since the numbers are sold unofficially, the buyer is not protected from fraud.

What are non-public tariffs

Non-public tariffs are complex service packages provided to subscribers under certain conditions. Typically, the prices and terms of use offered in such tariffs are beneficial for long-term use. They have no pitfalls, since the descriptions of the packages correspond to reality.

Over the years, mobile operators have developed three types of secret tariffs:

  1. Corporate – if the company, together with the operator, comes to an agreement to allocate several thousand numbers for use by employees on more favorable terms than those available to the public. Typically, such cooperation is beneficial for the operator and the company, since the former receives a huge active customer base at a time, the latter – high-quality communications at “wholesale prices”.
  2. “For our own” - such packages are used within the company and given to employees as incentives. It is noteworthy that an employee receives not just one tariff, but up to a dozen. It is assumed that these “special people are close circle (family, friends). There were quite a few cases when such service packages slipped into the hands of resellers and were sold as “non-public tariffs”.
  3. Special conditions for maintaining client loyalty - if a client has been using the company’s services for a long time, but decided to transfer his number to another operator because of a tariff that does not meet his needs, the mobile communications provider can “meet” such a client halfway. Together with him, he can offer something that will be acceptable to the client on the terms under which the client will continue to cooperate with the operator.

This rule works with the Big Three operators. As for Tele2’s non-public Internet tariffs, the provider has a different approach to selling its services on the market. The operator supports the policy of “tariffs for everyone” and reports that it does not hide any tariffs from subscribers. At the same time, there is an explanation for Tele2’s policy so that there is no confusion:

  1. The company does not provide non-public corporate Tele2 tariffs for its employees. All employees use public services.
  2. Archived tariffs are sometimes confused with non-public ones. The difference is that archived packages are service packages that were previously created for clients, but are no longer available for connection. At the same time, the client can continue to use the archived one or can switch to a new one. After switching to a new package, returning to the archived one is prohibited.
  3. There are no hidden free unlimited limits, but you can choose the most profitable one from the available ones. For this, there is a range of tariffs from the operator or a designer where you can assemble your own, up-to-date package of services.

The dangers of using tariffs

Corporate and hidden tariff plans have a number of disadvantages:

  1. SIM cards are not issued to the user. There is a risk that the number may be blocked, and the citizen will not be able to restore it, since he is not its owner. This is especially true for plans purchased from third-party companies.
  2. The user will not be able to connect a number of services and options to the corporate SIM card that require the owner’s data. For example, withdraw money from the account, block it, change the tariff, etc.
  3. Unlike regular tariff plans, non-public ones are rarely archived. Usually, instead of them, new offers are launched, offered to subscribers to replace the one for which support has ceased. For the user, this means that an unofficially purchased number may stop working at any time.

Non-public Tele2 tariff plans offer the user a large range and volume of services that are provided for a small monthly fee. Therefore, it is beneficial for the operator to hide and distribute them in limited quantities by organizing promotions. This allows him to attract new customers and retain old ones.

Connection

You can connect non-public tariffs with favorable conditions to Tele2 in 2 ways:

  • Buy from independent distributors at obviously inflated prices and with great risks to get something that is not what you needed in the first place.
  • Visit the nearest branch and ask there. In this case, they will most likely refuse. The operator becomes literally deaf to such requests when we are not talking about large corporate clients.

Although, there is one little trick that can help - this is a subscriber retention program. The user must come to the branch of any other cellular operator and submit a written application for the transition. As a rule, after 2-3 days a Tele2 employee will call and ask about the reasons for the transition. When a person begins to complain about the high monthly fee, he may be offered an exclusive tariff with acceptable terms of service. However, this does not always happen and you should not count on 100% results. Most often, in order to retain a subscriber, an operator’s employee will offer a discount on some individual options. Therefore, this trick does not always lead to the desired result.

In conclusion, a piece of advice - before transferring money for a starter package from an independent seller, it is important to read reviews about the dealer so as not to fall for the scammers.
