Social networks and instant messengers have long become a part of the life of almost every person. The majority of mobile Internet traffic is often spent in these directions. Therefore, it is not surprising that Tele2 offers its subscribers several opportunities to receive unlimited access to social networks and instant messengers on its tariffs. This includes the largest networks: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Instagram, as well as messengers Viber, WhatsApp and Tam Tam.
Unlimited social networking on Tele2 can be obtained in different ways. Let's look at the main options.
How to log into your personal account without a number
Tariffs with subscription fee.
Almost all tariffs with a monthly fee in Tele2 have Internet packages. But on My Online and My Online+, in addition to this, unlimited access to social networks is also enabled by default. To receive it, subscribers do not need to take any additional actions: the options are activated immediately, and their cost is already included in the subscription fee. So you can simply activate the SIM card and start using it!
Unlimited social networks are available by default on the My Online and My Online+ tariffs, as well as on the Social tariff plan. It can be connected to other packages using additional services.
On My Conversation and My Tele2 tariffs you can also enable this function, but for this you will have to perform additional steps. You can activate the service for a particular social network in your personal account or using combinations, and also use the settings of a tariff plan, connecting social networks and instant messengers in batches at once. The second option looks more convenient.
There are no other conditions, everything is transparent and simple. Unlimited traffic applies to 2 messengers: How to connect

“Social networks” service.
You can also use the service of setting up your tariff to connect to unlimited social networks. For this purpose, Tele2 has a separate service, which is called “Social Networks”. It includes all four options described above. The service can only be activated through tariff settings.
How to connect a tariff
As mentioned earlier, on tariff plans that already provide the required unlimited service, no additional connection is required. And in the case of individual options, it is recommended to adhere to the following algorithm:
- Open the main page of your personal account on the official website of the Tele2 operator. Use the direct web address: //tele2.ru/lk .
- If you are not authorized in your profile, you need to enter your phone number and password. Login via SMS confirmation is also available.

- Click “About the service” next to the name to see a detailed description of the option. If this is not required, immediately click on “Connect” and confirm the action.
Services for unlimited communication via messengers.
Messengers can gradually become a full-fledged replacement for social networks. At the moment, Viber and Whatsapp hold the leadership in this area. Unlimited in these applications is also provided for Tele2 subscribers. In addition, there is a separate service for the new service from Odnoklassniki - Tam Tam.

- status check: *155*405#
Important: when following links from messengers to third-party resources, as well as when watching videos from third-party resources, the Internet will be charged at standard rates.
“Messengers” service.
There is also a separate option that gives unlimited access to all messenger applications at once. It’s called “Messengers”. You cannot connect it with a combination. Access to it becomes possible only by changing your tariff plan using the “Customize your tariff” function.
What is forwarding, conferencing and call waiting
All three functions are designed to handle incoming calls. Their use often does not even require additional payment, an Internet connection or anything else. You can simply enable them in the settings. However, if you are using a CDMA network, you should check with your operator about the ability to enable call forwarding and call waiting.
Forwarding an incoming or outgoing call
Forwarding is an additional feature of a mobile phone (in our case, an iPhone) that allows you to redirect incoming calls from your number to any other. Moreover, this other number can be either a mobile number or Skype, Google Voice and others like that.
Using forwarding is convenient if, for example, you cannot charge your phone, but you need to answer calls. Simply forward calls to a second number. In addition, many call centers use forwarding so that several operators can serve customers at one number. Thus, you can create a whole network of numbers by connecting hierarchical forwarding.
Conference call
Conference calling is a fairly simple but very convenient feature. It allows several subscribers to talk at the same time. A good example is any conversation on Skype between three or more people. The iPhone, namely iOS 7 and later, provides conferencing for regular phone calls.
You can add another subscriber to any telephone conversation if he called you himself. Or you can dial his number while you are talking to someone else. As soon as the dialed number answers, he will join the conference.
Call waiting feature
Call waiting is a feature that turns on automatically when you answer a new call while still talking to the other party. Thus, the connection with the first is not interrupted, but is put on pause. In this case, you can negotiate with the second subscriber, and then switch back to the first.
Unlimited on Twitch.
Streaming services are also becoming more relevant. Therefore, Tele2, keeping in the spirit of the times, provided its users with an unlimited service on Twitch.
- connection: *155*417*1#
- shutdown: *155*417*0#
- status check: *155*417#
To get unlimited, you need to watch broadcasts through the official Twitch application. If links or media from third-party resources are opened through it, then the Internet will be charged at the rates specified when registering the tariff.
On tariffs with a subscription fee, the service will cost 99 rubles per month - if the subscription fee for the tariff is debited monthly, or 5 rubles per day - when debits are daily.
"Pitfalls" options
Domestic mobile companies are constantly seeking additional income that they can squeeze out of their customers. Megafon provides unlimited traffic abroad, but as a result it turns out that not everything is so simple and rosy under the “Unlimited messengers” option. Subscribers to tariffs from the “Turn On” series have the opportunity to use a new option that allows unlimited use of the Internet abroad via instant messengers.
You can send SMS, videos, photos, call. You don't have to pay for these features. But in fact, there are two negative points - a subscription fee of 99 rubles is charged per day. If you calculate for a month, it turns out to be 3,000 rubles. The essence of this “scam” is to activate the option automatically, while accessing the Internet, even for a few seconds. Therefore, if a subscriber with an activated tariff from the “Turn On” series wants to go to a foreign country, then when connecting to the network in this country, 99 rubles will immediately be deducted from the phone balance.
Residents of Russia who do not know these conditions will lose their money during trips abroad. Although the money in this case is small, it is unpleasant. However, this is not all the negative aspects of the service. The operator has found another method of debiting money from subscribers. At the end of the 10 megabyte package, 99 rubles are immediately debited, after which the next package is automatically activated, and so on five times in a row. As a result, almost 500 rubles will be written off per day.
Megafon specialists say that to prevent large amounts of money being written off, you need to control your Internet consumption, or set network access to only certain services and mobile applications in your settings. Such settings can be made, but you will not be able to use anything other than instant messengers. The 10 megabyte package will be used up after loading several website pages.
The main problem of the service is that its conditions apply to subscribers with “Turn on” tariffs. Of course, some of them will definitely go abroad, and are unlikely to know about such conditions. As a result, a large amount of money will be written off from the person, which is almost impossible to return.

Two pillars of communication
Let’s not pull the cat by the tail and immediately give an understanding of what Tele2 services are and how to use them.
By services you can mean anything, but the main directions of a cellular company, like any other, are, of course, mobile communications and the Internet, which naturally you can’t argue with. Anyone who has a smartphone or tablet today cannot imagine life without phone calls and access to the Internet to their favorite social networks, information sites, other entertainment, and for some, work.
These two phenomena are firmly rooted in our daily lives, thereby simplifying our lives and brightening up our everyday lives.
Possessing such tools as mobile Internet and communications, we keep up with the times, and they are ahead of progress, because telecommunications benefits give us limitless opportunities to do everything faster and faster.
Prices of wireless providers with full unlimited:
Wifi
BeeLine (500 RUR)
The coverage area is still very weak: internet.beeline.ru/wifi/mapup.wbp I don’t think it’s worth developing such a network further when there is 4G/LTE. wifi + Internet works in most cases slowly (in most cases lower than 15 megabits).
3G
for now, it makes no sense to consider 3G, since at the moment, the maximum speed is achieved under ideal conditions up to 28 megabits (this is in theory, but in practice no more than 14 megabits), the average speed is 3 megabits.
Wimax
Comstar (up to 10 megabits 690 rubles)
a good coverage area, but so far only within the Moscow Ring Road and with great restrictions. In fact, the unlim is conditional, since when pumping more than: 10 GB during the accounting period, the limit is 1 megabit. 20 GB per accounting period - 128 kbit limit
You can't download torrents
The maximum speed is limited to 10 megabits. still not enough, and even with traffic restrictions. considering this transitional technology is possible and does not make sense.
Yota (no longer relevant!)
On May 10, 2012, it completely switched from Wimax technology to 4G.
4G+3G
Yota (4G 20mbit 1400 RUR)
It is not yet known whether Yota will have a 3G network, rented from a megaphone, but they do not provide higher than 20 megabits. Speed is reduced at the modem level.
MegaFon (3G up to 21mbit only 8gb, 4G unlimited up to 90mbit 1500 rubles)
Current at the moment: when you buy a modem for 3,000 rubles, you get two months of internet (until June 15) completely free. the price turns out to be about 1,500 rubles, which allows you to use Unlim not only 4g, but also 3g.
Today (May 14) at a press conference, megafon announced its official tariffs:
As I expected - 1500 rubles is a good price for 4G unlimited without speed and traffic restrictions. I hope that by the end of the year the price tag will drop to at least 1000 rubles. The average 4g speed in Moscow, judging by tester reviews, is 10 megabits. 40-50 megabits is my average speed. and the maximum speed reached 88.48 megabits
Let's test the speed of Yota and Megafon together via SpeedTest Wave
screenshots of my speed:
Downloaded 11 gigs via torrents
at an average speed of 6-8 megabytes per second! Fantastic!
torrent pumping screen:
This may be due to the fact that the megaphone has not yet officially launched and the base station is not currently loaded. Let's see what happens in a month.
in Moscow 3G gives about 2-7 mbit. At the dacha (Leningradka 50 km) 3G flies stable at 7-12 megabits! True, I tested it on holidays and again through a megaphone modem. Perhaps this modem is given some kind of priority. You will have to compare it with a mobile phone.
Megafon's USB modem supports connecting an external antenna, so for those with low speed, it makes sense to buy an antenna with a signal of 7-30 dB and tune it to the nearest BS. On the other hand, by the end of the year the megaphone promises to cover all of Moscow with a high-quality signal, so you can wait.
4G/3G coverage: moscow.megafon.ru/help/coverage
Advantages of megaphone over Yota:
- there is 3G/2G with large coverage throughout Russia
- there is a seamless transition between 4G, 3G and 2G networks. Yota doesn't have 2G/3G yet
- They give full unlimited at virtually the same prices as Iota
- The megaphone will have more 4G base stations than Yota. license has already been obtained: www.rsoc.ru/communication/register/license/?id=95692
MTS (there is no 4g in Moscow yet)
The official launch of 4g (through the Scartel network) is expected in June 2012. Also, in February 2012, MTS received its own license for LTE frequencies (4G), which allows the development of its own base stations in Moscow and the Moscow region. Moreover, MTS already deployed its 4G network in Uzbekistan back in 2009, but never reached Moscow due to organizational issues.
Beeline (there is no 4g in Moscow yet)
there is no 4g in Moscow yet and there is no information anywhere about the timing of the launch; there is a preliminary agreement with Scartel, but negotiations on use have not even begun. Beeline already deployed a 4G network in Kazakhstan back in 2010, but in Moscow they are in no hurry to create a network through Scartel. Perhaps they don’t want to rush with Scartel and are waiting for the remaining own frequencies, which will be distributed by competition until the end of May.
The most interesting thing is that Megafon shareholders now also own Scartel (Yota brand). MTS (wired Stream) and Beeline (wired Corbina) may not have wanted to buy options to purchase Scartel shares and the entire company went to the owner of Megafon.
Of course, there's no question
Therefore, MTS and Beeline will be able to easily deploy their own networks in Moscow, which will be no worse than Iota. But everything depends on timing. In my opinion, it is easier to start collaborating with Scartel and add your own BS, as Megafon has done at the moment.
Package offers from the operator
These tariffs require payment of a subscription fee and the inclusion of ready-made message packages. Here is their list:
- “UNLIMITED Start” - the amount of the subscription payment is 660 rubles. per month, the number of calls provided is 700 minutes and the same number of messages, the volume of traffic is 10 GB within the country;
- “SMART” - for 400 rubles. 200 min will be offered per month. outgoing calls to all networks and the same number of messages, Internet is offered in the amount of 4 GB;
- “TARIFISHCHE” - the package costs 250 rubles. per month, provides 500 minutes and messages to all phones throughout the country, as well as no restrictions on Internet use.
These are just basic suggestions. In fact, the list of such packages is wider.
