Although the subscription fee is not large, after the end of the trip it is worth turning off the option so as not to accumulate extra expenses on top of your regular tariff.
However, if we talk about Crimea, then for tariffs without a monthly fee there is no point in connecting this paid operator service. For MTS subscribers, a similar tariff will apply without additional costs, which does not depend on the basic conditions of the tariff plan. All incoming calls will be free, and you can make calls within Russia for 3 rubles. per minute, send SMS for 2 rubles, and use the Internet for 1 ruble. per MB.

Tariff cost
Unlike the similar one, “Home package Russia +” is paid once a month. The cost is 100 rubles. Money is debited at the time of connection, as well as exactly 30 days later to extend the service, unless the subscriber refused to provide the service earlier. For example, if the service was activated on March 1, the first debit will occur on the same day. The second time the money will be withdrawn on April 2.

Features of connecting roaming in Crimea

The main nuance of this service is that minutes and messages within the tariff are consumed only when making calls and sending SMS to your home region. If you live in Voronezh and went on a business trip to Nizhny Novgorod, then calls home (to Voronezh) with the activated service will be free or at the same cost as you called or wrote without leaving your hometown. In 2021, after the creation of a similar option, many users encountered a problem when, when trying to connect the “Home package Russia +”, the “Home package Russia” was simultaneously added. This state of affairs did not suit many users who wanted to change their mobile operator. At the same time, when I tried to disable an unnecessary service, I received a message about the impossibility of doing this, since 2 services are connected together.
However, these two options essentially provide the same options, but with a different payment method. MTS is the only operator whose terms and conditions never state that a tariff or tariff option is not valid in Crimea and Sevastopol. Any service intended for travel within Russia will work in the same way in Crimea.
