The MTC “Zabugorische” tariff allows you to always stay in touch without changing SIM cards and without spending a lot of money.
Who is it suitable for?
This tariff option is an offer for subscribers in need of roaming services. Accordingly, it is suitable for that audience of users who plan to travel outside of Russia and want to stay in touch with the same volumes of incoming and outgoing calls and Internet access as in their home region.
In the “Zero Without Borders” option, only incoming calls from Russia are free; in the “Free Travel” option, outgoing calls to Russia and incoming calls from the Russian Federation are free. There are also options only for the Internet in roaming, but “Zabugorische” is a kind of “combine” in which everything is included. In my opinion, the service is suitable for those who prefer to use their smartphone abroad, as they say, “to the fullest”, without limiting themselves.
Terms of service
To activate the “Zabugorische” option, the subscriber must meet certain company criteria.
To begin with, you should be a user of specific MTS tariffs, which were mentioned earlier. “Zabugorische” is not a separate tariff, but only an additional option for owners of the “Smart” and “Unlimited” lines. Therefore, if the subscriber is not a user of the required tariff plan, then the company will not provide him with the service.
If the user already has the following additional options enabled, then connecting Zabugorishch will nullify their effect:
- "Free travel";
- "Zero without borders";
- "BIT Abroad".
Since these services are responsible for mobile communications in roaming conditions, only one of them is available for simultaneous connection.
Also, to activate the “Zabugorische” option, you should check the number’s access to the following services:
- "International access";
- "Easy roaming";
- "Mobile Internet".
If at least one option is missing, the company will refuse connection.
In which countries is this option available?
So, before you understand the roaming tariff conditions that become available to subscribers after activating the service in question, it should be noted that it is not valid in all countries. All countries are divided into several conditional categories: popular, rest, and countries where the option is not valid.

Extension of traffic abroad when the option is exhausted
It happens that during a trip abroad, all the megabytes offered by the tariff plan are spent. It is possible to extend the validity of the Internet abroad by activating the “Turbo button abroad”. As an addition, another 100 MB of traffic is provided for a day or until it is completely used up.
The user can activate several “Turbo buttons” at once. Then the provided megabytes are summed up.
The “Turbo button” is connected by entering the combination *111*458#. After sending the command, the client receives a CMC to confirm the action.
Cost of calls with the “Zabugorische” option
The tariff conditions for activating the service are as follows:
- Incoming calls in popular countries: free (maximum 100 minutes per day, then 39 ₽/min.);
- Incoming calls in countries from the “Other” category: from 1 to 10 minutes of conversation are free, then - 39 ₽ per minute (maximum 200 minutes per month, then all calls are 39 ₽/min.);
- Making calls in other countries: from 2 to 5 minutes of conversation - 39 ₽ each, 1st and from 6th minutes - according to the roaming tariff plan assigned to the subscriber’s number (up-to-date information can be checked on the operator’s website);
- Making calls in popular countries: minutes are consumed from the weekly package of minutes (maximum 100 minutes per day, then 39 ₽/min.);
Remember that the “Foreign” option does not provide any discounts on sending SMS. All SMS messages are sent at roaming rates.
How to connect Zabugorishche to MTS
You can connect Zabugorishche in several convenient ways:
- by contacting the nearest branch of the company;
- in your personal account on the official MTS website;
- using the USSD command *111*771#.
Connecting and disconnecting the option is free.
Also, in addition to “Zabugorishche” itself, customers are asked to select “Favorite number” for this additional option. A consultant at the MTS branch will advise the user on this; if you connect independently, you must select this service yourself.

The service is provided as an additional option to the basic tariff. You cannot connect Zabugorishche separately.
Internet
Access to the network within the framework of “Zabugorishte” on MTS is possible, but tariffing can also occur on different conditions. And these conditions depend directly on the country of residence. There are 5 possible options for providing traffic:
- The Internet is consumed from the home Internet package, and surfing is available without speed limits for the first 500 megabytes per day (over 500 megabytes, the speed is limited to 128 kb/sec). The option is valid for countries from this list ;
- Internet traffic is available in unlimited mode at maximum speed for the first 100 megabytes per day, and at a speed of 128 kbps after using 100 megabytes in countries from the following list ;
- In countries from this list, subscribers are provided with 30 megabytes of traffic daily at the maximum available speed;
- In the following list of countries, subscribers are provided with only 1 megabyte of Internet traffic daily;
- In other countries, subscribers are provided with 5 megabytes of traffic per day.
In general, the most economical option for communication in roaming is tourist SIM cards with cheap communication and Internet tariffs. How to disable Zabugorishche on MTS
The option can be disabled using the same methods used to enable it:

Cancellation of the service is free.
Many clients deliberately do not turn off Zabugorishche. After all, the option charges the subscription fee only when using the tariff abroad.
When you disable the “Favorite number” option, “Zabugorische” stops working automatically.
Is it worth connecting Zabugorishche?
To figure out whether it is worth connecting to such a controversial service, you need to carefully study the terms of the agreement on the purchase of a SIM card concluded between the subscriber and the cellular company. Not a single detail should be left unattended, since it is in seemingly insignificant nuances that the most important provisions are hidden that can make the existing conditions both pleasant and completely unacceptable.

Disabling the option is advisable when you are abroad, since the fee is charged only when you actually make calls or use the Internet.

In less popular countries, the service sets preferential prices for calls and provides free Internet access within the established limit.

The amount of payment for using the option depends on the subscriber’s country of residence. The subscription payment for using the tariff is debited weekly and its price is 250 rubles. For this money, the subscriber is provided with 350 minutes, 350 SMS messages and 7 GB of Internet per week.
If the limit provided by the package is exhausted, the following prices apply:
- calls within your home region - 2 rubles/min;
- to numbers within Russia - 5 rubles/min;
- SMS messages -1.5 and 3.8 rubles. respectively;
- SMS to operators outside the Russian Federation - 5.25 rubles;
- MMS - 9.9 rubles regardless of quotas.
Important! While in roaming (outside the Russian Federation), 290 rubles are debited. (390 for unpopular countries) daily, if communication services were used per day.
