Well, now to the point. This method was revealed to me on February 13, when my phone number, which is used as the main incoming call for our web studio (Megafon corporate SIM card), began receiving calls from dozens of collectors from the Moscow region.

Of course I had questions! Unfortunately, the operator did not understand the essence of my problem. It is impossible to block all calls from debt collectors, since the guys are calling from a purchased pool of numbers. It is impossible to block them all.

After some time, they finally understood me, registered my appeal and asked me to wait.

After 20 minutes the answer came.

Unfortunately, we are forced to refuse, because... you are not the owner of the number from which calls are forwarded.

It sounds extremely logical, because I have no right to manage other people’s services. But what about logic? After all, calls from this number are forwarded to me!

After discussing a couple more details with the operator, I received this answer:

That is, confirmation from the other party to accept call forwarding is not required.

And that's the funniest thing. I can unilaterally forward all my inboxes to any phone number.

Taking into account the closure of “Smart Mini”, MTS now calls this tariff “starter” and it is, of course, the cheapest. But, if compared with the previous version, it has become much worse. Disproportional to the reduction in the monthly fee, the volumes of minutes, SMS and traffic were reduced, and the transfer of balances was removed. All subscribers are gradually being “pushed” to connect to more expensive tariffs, but not everyone needs large volumes of minutes, messages and traffic. Sad changes.

Personal opinion

The tariff is quite reasonable, especially with the transfer of packages to the next month. The subscription fee could be a little lower, but that's okay. This tariff plan is not very suitable for traveling around Russia, since you will have to pay to expand the coverage area of ​​the tariff packages - 15 rubles every day of using communication services.

Also, the tariff will become less attractive from January 15, 2021, as the mobile Internet package will be reduced (for those who connect to the tariff or switch to it starting from January 15). And 3 GB of mobile Internet for 500 rubles per month is not very much.

Again, it’s hard to say whether I would use this tariff or not, since my tariff plan is much more profitable. But previously I had to use Smart, although the conditions there were completely different. Now I could recommend Smart, but only with five GB of mobile Internet, and not three.

Packages of minutes, SMS and Internet are accrued every month in full, on the day corresponding to the date of connection/switching to the tariff, or corresponding to the date of unblocking or return to monthly debiting.

Unused balances of Internet packages, minutes, SMS are transferred to the next month. The transfer is not made if there are insufficient funds on the subscriber’s balance to charge the next subscription fee.

After the traffic package provided in the current month is exhausted and the remainder of the package transferred from the previous month (if any), additional packages are automatically connected until the main package is updated.

In each month, no more than 15 such packages can be connected, after which the subscriber can continue to use the Internet by activating the “Turbo button”.

Billing is per minute. All outgoing calls lasting 3 seconds or more are rounded up per minute. Calls lasting less than 3 seconds are not charged.

The tariff plan is not intended for a modem. If a SIM card with a tariff is used in a modem, Internet access is limited.

What tariff is valid instead of “Smart Unlimited”

Today, “Smart Unlimited” is an archival tariff, which has been quite successfully replaced by modern offers, although many subscribers still continue to use it. TP went on sale in May 2021 and immediately gained popularity among customers who were not particularly interested in cellular communications, but actively used the Internet. The option was so unique, it operated without exception throughout Russia and beyond, and had effective Wi-Fi distribution. After 6 months, the package services were significantly cut, a fixed fee was introduced for Wi-Fi distribution, and using the service outside of your home region became twice as expensive.

Less than six months later, the company sent the service to the archives, instead presenting a new tariff - Smart Unlimited 2021. The combination of changing tariff plans did not please subscribers too much, since the new offer did not represent such “unlimited” traffic as it was imagined it was limited to 10 Gb per month.

The developments of the MTS company did not stop there; after some time, subscribers were offered a new TP - “Tariffishche”. What is worth noting is a rather attractive offer, which has truly unlimited traffic and decent volumes of package minutes/SMS. The Tariffishche contract is a kind of constructor in which each client of the company can independently select the required number of packages. Results

The “Smart Unlimited 032017” tariff plan can hardly be called successful. The monthly fee is quite high, while the included package of minutes is significantly less than that of the basic “Smart” tariff.

The extra 5 GB of traffic will hardly compensate for this difference.

In all other respects, this tariff has no fundamental differences, which means there are no special advantages.

It is worth considering that from other operators you can get much more minutes and gigabytes for a similar amount.

Bypassing MTS Unlimited restrictions
