The MTS Mini Bit option is necessary for those subscribers who do not use traffic monthly. When a user needs to go online several times a month, it is not profitable to connect a tariff with an Internet package. If you activate this option, the system will monitor each input. After the client uses the Internet, he will be provided with 20 MB for a day. This amount can be used daily for a fixed fee. When the client does not log into the network during the day, the amount will not be debited from the balance.

Options

When a subscriber reaches 100 MB of incoming and outgoing Internet traffic in total during a calendar day, the maximum available Internet connection speed is automatically set at no more than 256 Kbps until the end of the current calendar day.

With the start of a new calendar day, the speed is restored to the maximum possible level.

Interaction with other options

, “SuperBIT”, “Unlimited VIP”, “MiniBIT”, “Internet browsing for a month”, “Internet browsing for a day”, “Corporate unlimited Internet”, “Unlimited”, “Unlimited 2.0”, “SmartBIT”, “ Picnic”, “Unlimited for a day”, are mutually exclusive and cannot be provided together.

During the connection, the Internet traffic included in the subscriber's tariff plan will not be consumed.

Where does the function work?

When the subscriber activates the option, he will be able to use it not only in the SIM card’s service territory, but throughout the country. There are no restrictions on use only in the home region. This is convenient if the client travels frequently. The option is configured automatically when a SIM card is inserted into the cell phone. Also, the Internet can automatically connect to the phone when the subscriber goes online. If this does not happen, you should contact the operator and ask for help with the setup.

“MiniBIT” MTS is suitable for those who do not hang out on the Internet, but only occasionally access it. For some, just looking at emails or checking social media accounts is enough. In this case, a large amount of traffic is not needed. For such cases, this service is provided. A person receives a small amount of traffic, and if necessary, can increase it in small portions.

The total amount of traffic received in this way is: 25 (providing the service) + 15 × 20 (providing 15 renewals) = 325 MB. This is not much, but enough for those who need access to the World Wide Web only occasionally.

Terms of use and price

When describing the “Mini Bit” tariff from MTS, it is necessary to mention that the offer can be used on all tariff plans, and it can also be connected to corporate tariff plans. If the service was activated in Moscow, then it can be used throughout the country without restrictions. The client can connect MiniBit for free; the subscription fee is charged from the balance only after accessing the network. There are certain conditions under which the function works:

• when the limit is issued to the subscriber for the first time, 25 rubles are withdrawn from the account;
• if the user decides to leave the service region, the first limit received will cost 35 rubles;
• the further price of the option also increases when traveling within Russia;
• in the region where the SIM card is connected, the price for the function will be 15 rubles; no more than 300 MB can be used per day, that is, 15 activations;
• if the client still has traffic, it will be impossible to transfer it to a new billing period;
• when activating an additional limit outside the number's service region, the price will be 25 rubles.

It is possible to disable additional quota connection. The client will not need the Internet, just enter the code *111*931# on his cell phone. You can also forward a text message to the 6220 phone by writing “1” in the text field.

Connection

For beginners, the place to connect to the tariff will be the sales office. And for existing clients, there is no need to move anywhere. Just type a short command on your phone’s keyboard: *111*13#, press call and receive a pop-up message indicating that the migration has occurred.

Upon activation, you must have an amount of money in your account equal to 0.0330 rubles.

How the service works

To understand what this MiniBit MTS option is, you should tell us in more detail how it works. The billing period is taken to be one day. In this case, funds will be debited only if the subscriber logs into the network during the day. Tariffing depends on the location of the user. In the home region, the phone is charged 20 rubles for 20 MB, then for subsequent connections only 15 rubles per day will be charged. You are allowed to activate no more than 300 MB per day.

But when the client uses the function while traveling, the price for the first 20 MB can range from 35 to 45 rubles. Then, for every additional 20 MB, a fee of 25 rubles is charged. In addition, you can only use 15 bags.

Depending on the amount of access to the global network provided, the Internet line is divided into 6 packages:

Tariffing is calculated according to a new interval system: not for each megabyte provided, but for the amount of Internet that falls into a certain volume:

• 11.22 - from 2 to 5 GB;
• 16.84 - from 5 to 10 GB;
• 22.45 - from 10 to 15 GB;
• 39.29 - from 15 to 30 GB;
• 56.13 - from 30 to 60 GB;
• 100.00 – from 60 GB and more.

How to activate the feature

There are several ways in which you can connect to the service. The easiest way is to use your personal account, which is offered to clients on the company’s portal. But this option is only available if the subscriber has access to the Internet. You can also use the following methods:

• Code command. On a cell phone, the code characters *111*62# are dialed. This method does not require a network connection and takes no more than five minutes. Funds will be debited from your balance only after logging into the Internet.
• Call the operator. The client can dial 0890 on his mobile phone and wait to be contacted by the company manager. To activate the option, you will need to provide your passport details.
• Office visit. This option is used if it is not possible to send a request or call the operator. When visiting, you must have your passport with you.

No money is charged from the balance for activating the service; payment occurs only after accessing the network.

Services included in the package

Access to the global network thanks to MTS does not mean that there is no opportunity to call:

• a call from the device to a number related to the MTS network will cost 0.1905 rubles per minute of conversation;
• a call to subscribers connected to wireless networks, city and long-distance, as well as to any other cellular operators in Belarus costs 0.3368 rubles per minute.

You can communicate via text and multimedia messages, despite the fact that incoming SMS and MMS are absolutely free. And for those received, the following will be debited from the account:

• 0.0560 rubles - for 1 text message in SMS format;
• 0.0895 rubles - for 1 message in mms format.

There is no subscription fee, tariffs are indicated taking into account the necessary taxes.

How to deactivate the feature

There are several ways to disable MiniBit, for this you can use the following options:

• using the online assistant;
• by logging into the mobile application;
• using your personal profile on the company portal;
• by sending a request *111*62#, and then pressing the “2” button;
• by calling the cellular company's hotline;
• by contacting the contact center in person.

Disabling MiniBit on MTS is not difficult; even a novice user can handle it. In this case, deactivation is free of charge, and traffic is immediately canceled.

If the client does not need access to the Internet every day, he can activate the MiniBit option and pay for a set number of megabytes once a day. To enable the function, you can visit the company’s portal, send a code request, or call the company’s hotline.

Who is “MiniBIT” suitable for?

Some customers need a lot of bandwidth to access the Internet, while others may not need it. But there are also those who need access to the World Wide Web only at certain moments. The latter do not need to pay for access monthly, because the Internet is only needed sometimes. MiniBIT provides such an opportunity.

When the option is enabled, the client simply needs to go to a social network, check his email, or do another action related to access to the World Wide Web in order to receive 20 MB of traffic and write off the payment amount. In some cases this may not be enough. Then you just need to stay online. At the same time, MTS will provide packages of 20 MB of traffic as needed until the need for them ends.

After this is done 15 times, it will not be possible to extend access until the end of the day.

Note! In this case, the Internet will not be turned off until the next day, but will simply become very slow.

For clients in Belarus

For subscribers from Belarus, separate conditions are offered:

• The amount of traffic per day is 50 MB.
• Subscription fee – 0.23 Belarusian rubles.
• The limit is restored every day.

The Mini Bit version for Belarus has completely different conditions. There is an optional subscription fee, which is charged every day. The user receives a small amount of traffic at an affordable price.

If the daily package is used up, the speed is limited to 256 kbit/s. This is enough for messaging and browsing. But at such speeds, using the Internet becomes uncomfortable.

The 50 MB limit is updated every day. When the next day arrives, you receive a traffic package. It is sufficient for subscribers who use instant messengers and social networks.
