Promised payment
This is the name of the main service within which you can borrow from MTS. Its essence is that if the balance drops to zero or even a negative value, the MTS subscriber can choose the amount of the required loan, and the funds will be credited to the account immediately.
The amount of the promised payment depends on the activity of communication if you spend:
- up to 50 rub. per month - you can get no more than 50 rubles. loan;
- up to 300 rub. - no more than 200 rub.
- up to 500 rub. - no more than 400 rub.
- from 501 rub. - up to 1000 rub.
For those who spend more than 500 rubles. per month for MTS communications, a repeated promised payment is available - you can borrow while the previous one is valid, but the amount of all loans cannot exceed 1000 rubles.
For participants of the Premium service program, a premium promised payment is available in the amount of up to 1,500 rubles.
You have to pay for using someone else’s money, and in this case too: the fee for the promised payment depends on the amount of replenishment.

If you take several promised payments in a row, a commission will be charged for each of them. Not everyone can borrow from MTS; the following conditions must be met:
- The subscriber was registered in the MTS network more than 60 days ago;
- There is no debt on other MTS SIM cards;
- The subscriber belongs to the prepaid payment system;
- The “On Full Trust” or “Credit” services are not activated.
In general, the conditions are easily met, and almost every experienced MTS subscriber can take advantage of the promised payment.
How to make free calls with a positive and negative score on your smartphone
If you have an IOS, Windows Phone or Android phone, install the Viber program. This is software that allows you to call or write a message for free to any person who has it installed (and it doesn’t matter whether MTS is on the other subscriber’s phone or not). Install and get the opportunity to talk for free.
Viber works via 3G, 4G or WI-FI, so all you need to make a call is free internet. The program automatically synchronizes with your contacts from your phone or SIM card.
How to borrow from MTS and pay it back
To directly receive money to your phone balance, you need to dial *111*123#
There are several more ways:
- Connection through the “My MTS” mobile application (to do this, go to the “Bill and Payment” category);
- Call number 1113;
- In your personal account on the website.
The service can be activated with a balance of up to -300 rubles. The commission will be debited immediately from the amount of the promised payment, that is, it will be reduced by the amount of the commission.
The promised payment is valid for 3 days. This means that during these three days you must top up your account with an amount equal to the loan, plus a commission, plus the debt at the time of receipt, if any.
If the top-up amount is less, the number will be blocked and you will not be able to use MTS communication services.
Let’s imagine that you had -50 rubles in your account, and you took the promised payment of 300 rubles, the commission for which is 25 rubles. During the 3 days that the promised payment was valid, we spent another 150 rubles. You need to top up your account with at least 227 rubles in order to stay in touch when the promised payment is debited and not go back into the red. If you deposit a smaller amount, the promised payment will be repaid first, at least partially.
Subscribers of all tariff plans can take out a loan from MTS, except for the rare “Guest”, “Resort”, “MTS iPad”.
Conditions
Of course, when your balance tends to zero or has already gone negative, how to borrow money on MTS will be one of the first things that comes to mind. But it is worth remembering that the option has a number of conditions and restrictions. And you won’t be able to ignore them. Firstly, some subscribers will not be able to borrow money:
- new subscribers (less than 60 days using the number);
- those who have debts on other accounts and numbers in the company;
- users of a number of tariff plans (“Guest”, “Resort”, “iPad” and “Basic 092013”);
- customers using a postpaid replenishment system;
- use the “Credit” and “In full confidence” options;
You also need to understand that you will have to give more than you received - the service is not free. The cost depends on the size of the loan and ranges from 0-50 rubles.
The client can choose the size of the loan, but the operator limits the maximum amount depending on regular communication expenses. The maximum loan period is 3 days.
Please note that it is not necessary to track the status of your account so as not to go into the red. You can simply disable the limit, then the balance will not cross the negative line.
Alternative - “In full confidence”
There is a convenient alternative service that helps you go “in the red” and at the same time continue to communicate until you reach a certain limit.
With this service, sudden account blocking is practically impossible, because MTS will warn you several times that it is time to top up your balance.
Main advantages of the service:
- Free connection, no monthly fee;
- Available on all tariff plans, with the exception of “For laptop”, “For tablet” and corporate;
- You can talk with a balance of up to -300 rubles at the initial stage of use and up to -800 rubles when using the service for 10 months or more, or average monthly communication costs +20%.
It is worth talking in more detail about how the credit limit is calculated.
It depends on the period of use of the service and monthly communication costs. For those who have just activated the service, a credit of trust of -300 rubles is already available. Next, MTS checks your reliability for 3 months, and after that it can increase the limit to -800 rubles. or up to an amount equal to communication costs + 20%.
The limit increases if communication bills are paid in full and on time. And in case of late payment of the invoice, it is reduced to the original value of -300 rubles.
Not everyone is comfortable with increasing the limit above -300 rubles, because this way you may not notice how much you have spent on mobile communications.
It is recommended to fix the limit using the USSD command *111*2136#
The service is available for connection under the following conditions:
- Service in MTS for at least 3 months;
- Positive balance during connection;
- Average monthly expenses for communications are at least 200 rubles;
- There are no debts on other SIM cards opened at MTS.
Important addition:
When you activate this service, the billing system changes; the connection will need to be paid once a month according to the invoice within the specified time frame. The “Promised payment”, which we wrote about above, also becomes unavailable.
If the subscriber activates the “In Full Trust” service, but does not use any paid services (SMS, calls, Internet, etc.) for a month, then the operator will disable the service and return the client to the advance (prepaid) payment method.
How to go into the red on MTS and continue communicating
Now let’s talk directly about how to activate the “In Full Trust” service. This can be done in three ways:
- By command *111*32#
- In the mobile application;
- In your personal account.
In many tariffs, the service is included by default, and it is possible to disable it if you do not want to go “in the red” on MTS, since you will have to monitor this yourself.
By purchasing this or that tariff, you agree to its terms, which may include connecting to this service. But you can always fix the limit at a minimum level, or disable the lending service.
Paying on a single invoice is very convenient. For example, you can pay for communication services in April until May 24; the operator will repeatedly remind you to pay via SMS. You can find out about debts and payment terms by command *132#
So, you should activate the “On Full Trust” service in order not to make unnecessary movements when your balance decreases: you can top it up at a convenient time without fear of account blocking (as long as you are within the limit).
Unlike “Promised Payment”, there is no fee for granting a loan.
Top up my account
If you urgently need to call several people, but there are no funds in your account and there is no way to transfer money to your phone, send a request to top up your balance to your family or friends.
is provided free of charge to all MTS subscribers and can be connected in three ways:
- direct USSD command;
- interactive menu;
- mobile application "My MTS".

The request will be sent to the addressee. All you have to do is wait for the money to arrive in your mobile account.

The process for sending a notification is similar to the “Call Me Back” method. Just select the “Top up my account” category, enter the required number and send your request.
MTS auto payment
The MTS operator has many services in case your balance is zero or minus. But why bring your account to such a state?
Replenishment can be automated if you set up autopayment—automatically making payments from a bank card.
You can set it up either according to a schedule or when you reach a threshold - for example, if you have 50 or 100 rubles left in your account, the operator will write off the amount you specified when setting up the payment from the card.
Here are the main advantages of autopayment:
- You will never be left without money on your phone and, accordingly, without communication;
- Zero commission and subscription fee;
- You can pay for your phone or the phones of your loved ones;
- You can set a spending limit on mobile communications from a bank card.
Automatic payment can only be activated in your personal account or in the mobile application, where you can link a bank card. The operator also regularly holds promotions for new users of the service, offering a discount on communication fees for a certain period.
Balance loan from MTS - how to get it?
When there is no money to put into your mobile account, and being blocked is not part of your plans, there is a completely working way - to borrow a certain amount. In general, there are two options that the operator offers:
- connect or “Promised payment”;
- ask a friend or acquaintance for help by sending him a request.
Among the methods there is one more - setting up automatic balance replenishment
from a personal bank card. This is easier to do when you have a valid account with MTS Bank.
