Date: August 22, 2021 | Updated: August 23, 2021 | Author: Moblie-man

The Caller ID service on MTS is a completely standard tool, which is implemented by default for all the operator’s clients. It has extremely simple conditions, as well as some modifications in the form of additional types of services, which we will consider today.

Service cost

You will need to pay for Antiaon MTS upon connection, in addition, the subscriber will be charged a daily fee. Cost varies depending on region.

Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad regionconnection cost is 34 and 17 rubles on tariffs with and without a subscription fee, respectively, daily commission is 3.95 rubles
Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Tatarstanconnection cost 15 rubles, daily commission 3.95 rubles
Altai Republicconnection cost 17 rubles, daily commission 3.95 rubles
Perm regionconnection cost 34 rubles, daily commission 3.95 rubles

In order to find out the cost of the service in your region, you can use the MTS website.

When do you need to disable the service?

Of course, the activated function has its advantages. However, there are some drawbacks here:

  1. The call will be secure only if the user is calling an MTS phone. When communicating with subscribers of other cellular networks, the number series may be visible.
  2. The service is not provided free of charge, and many subscribers remove the “Hidden number” option from their phone in order to save money.
  3. It will be impossible to set up an incognito call if another client has the “Super AntiAON” option installed.

Now let's learn about ways to turn off the Anti Caller ID mobile product from MTS.

How to connect Antiaon MTS?

There are 3 main ways to connect to the service:

  1. Through your personal account on the MTS website. This service is available to all subscribers of the operator. If you have not set a password or have forgotten it, you need to click the “Receive password via SMS” button, after which a message with a code will be sent to the specified phone number. After entering the received numbers, you will be able to set a password. After logging into your personal account, in the menu located on the left side of the screen, you need to select Tariffs and services – Manage services – Connect new services. In the proposed list, services are arranged in alphabetical order, AntiAON will be located in the top ten. You need to check the box next to the service and confirm your choice by clicking the “Next” button. The advantage of this method is the opportunity to familiarize yourself with all the terms and conditions of the service.
  2. Through the MTS Service mobile application, which is available for phones on iOS, Android and Windows operating systems. In general, the connection procedure is similar to that described above.
  3. By dialing the combination *111*46# on your phone and confirming your intention to activate the service. This method is the fastest, but you need to remember that by using it, you confirm that you are familiar with all the terms of service and agree with them.

Deactivation methods

You can disable it on MTS in several ways:

  1. By sending a USSD command. To open your “unknown number”, dial *111*47# on your mobile phone and press the “Call” button. After this, your telephone number will be declassified. If desired, the subscriber can classify it back at any time.
  2. Through a call to tel. MTS technical support. To do this, call tel. 0890 or 8(800)333-08-90, and inform the operator about the purpose of your request. After verifying your identity, a company employee will assist in deactivating the product. Calls to service numbers are free. If you are in roaming, call tel. +7 495 766 0166. For connecting to an operator outside the network, a fee may be charged from your account.
  3. At the provider's office. You can disable the function at any mobile operator office. When contacting the telesystem department, the user must have an identification document and a mobile device in his hands.
  4. Via Personal Account or the My MTS application. To deactivate the service, go to the “My Services” category, and next to the unnecessary product, click the “Disable” button.

How to use

Often the need to hide a number does not arise with every call, but only in certain situations. The difference between this service and the option described above is that by default, when making calls, your number will be determined from the called subscriber. In order to hide the number, you will need to dial the already familiar combination *31# before the subscriber’s number.

What are the advantages of this service? First of all, the price. When connecting, the subscriber is charged a fixed fee (varies in regions, for Moscow - 32 rubles), a daily fee will be charged in the amount of 1.05 rubles. For a one-time number identification ban, you will be charged 2 rubles. Thus, the Antiaon MTS on-demand service is beneficial only if you are going to use the number identification ban not every day, for example, a couple of times a month. In other cases, it is better to choose the AntiAON service.

Thus, even if Antiaon on MTS is needed only for one time, you will have to pay for connection and at least one day of use, which in total will require about 40 rubles.

What it is?

The abbreviation Caller ID stands for Automatic Number Identifier. This method is used by different companies to determine subscriber phone numbers and receive payment for calls. Today there are three methods for determining numbers. In our countries, as a rule, the standard is used (to put it simply as ANI), and abroad - Caller ID (FSK, DTMF). There are a number of differences between these methods of determining the number:

  1. In Caller ID, the telephone number is determined before connecting to the operator.
  2. Caller ID identifies the phone after connection.
  3. Caller ID is an option that is specifically designed for use by telephone subscribers.
  4. Caller ID - used for charging international calls.

The operating principle looks like this:

  • the modem picks up the phone;
  • delay before request is 200-250 ms;
  • caller ID request duration from 100 to 200 ms, 500 Hz;
  • receiving and decoding information;
  • output of artificial signals so that the subscriber does not realize that the other person has already picked up the phone.

With this option, there are a number of difficulties with the speed of determining the number, as well as sending data without a request. In the first case, two tones are set for the request to solve the problem, and in the second there is a delay of 100 ms for applying two signals and 200 ms in a situation using only one request tone.

How to see all hidden MTS numbers

Along with the question “how to hide a number on MTS,” subscribers sometimes have the question of how to recognize hidden numbers. Especially for such cases, the operator offers the Super Caller ID service. The essence of this service is to identify all numbers, even those made by subscribers with the activated MTS Anti-AON service or Anti-AON upon request. Just as in previous cases, the operator guarantees correct operation of the function only when making calls from MTS subscribers in their home region. In addition, there is a limitation of the service on a number of phones, including Samsung E350, Samsung E370, Nokia 1200, etc. (the full list is presented on the website).

To connect to SuperAON, you can use your personal account or mobile application, or dial the combination *111*007#. There is no command available to disable ussd. This option is quite expensive - tariffs in some regions of Russia are presented below.

Moscow and Moscow regionconnection cost 6,000 rubles, daily fee 6.5 rubles
St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Bashkortostan, Altai Republic, Perm Territoryconnection cost 990 rubles, daily fee 6.5 rubles

Thus, in most of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the connection cost and daily fee are the same and amount to 990 and 6.5 rubles, respectively.

How to get around

As noted above, disabling Caller ID on MTS is not difficult. To do this, it is enough to sign up for the AntiAON service, regular or upon request. If the goal is to bypass anti-determination, the Super Caller ID function comes in handy here. To use it, just connect the MTS caller ID by entering the command *111*007#.

Connection costs 990 rubles, and subsequently a payment of 6.5 rubles is taken every day. This option cannot be called cheap, but it is very useful and allows you to protect yourself from those who like to hide their phone number.

Why doesn't hiding a number on MTS work?

Below are the most likely answers to the question why AntiAON does not work:

  1. You are making a call to a subscriber of another network/different region. As stated above, MTS guarantees the correct operation of the service only when calling MTS subscribers in their home region.
  2. The called subscriber has the Super Caller ID service activated, which allows you to determine numbers even with Anti Caller ID connected.

In all other situations, it makes sense to contact the MTS support service (by calling the hotline 0890 or using the online chat in your personal account).

Reviews

In general, users respond positively to the service and note that it works without any complaints within the operator. But there are some glitches when a phone number is identified for some reason. Let's highlight a few reviews about the MTS AntiAON function:

“I recently connected the MTS AntiAON function. When calling within the network, numbers are hidden in 80% of cases, but when calling other operators, the system does not work. To be honest, I plan to switch to a one-time tariff so as not to close the phone for all subscribers.” Ilya, 33 years old.

“I use AntiAON from MTS upon request. I think that closing the number for all subscribers is pointless. And it’s very convenient. I entered a special code and blocked the display of the phone. It’s easier and much cheaper this way.” Stanislav, 33 years old.

The main complaints of MTS customers are related to the high cost of the service and the lack of blocking when calling to other operators.
But this is a feature of the option, which the provider warns users about immediately before connecting the Anti-AON or Anti-AON on request function. If our article helped you, please like it!

By calling the operator

The mobile operator's support center helps subscribers resolve issues regarding activation and cancellation of various services and tariff offers, and provides information about the number.

  1. Call the toll-free number 0500 from an MTS number, or the universal number 8800-550-0500 from any phone, the call will also be free.
  2. Listen to the autoinformer's prompts, then press the number button corresponding to connecting with a specialist.
  3. Ask a specialist to deactivate the “Anti-AON” option on your number.

In this case, information from your passport will be required to identify the owner of the number, so take care of this in advance.

Hiding a number through phone settings

It is not always possible to pay for the operator’s services, but you still need to talk incognito. Some modern telephone devices support the technical ability to hide the CTN for outgoing calls.

This is easy to check. You need to go to your phone settings and find the network menu. This section should include the item “Hide number”. In different devices it may be called differently, but the essence is the same. If there is no item in the settings menu with this name, this means that the phone does not support this option.

When you enable this mode, you need to check the correct operation. To do this, call your friends or family first. If the detector does not work, it means that the device hides the CTN correctly. Otherwise, you need to connect “AntiAON”.

ul

MTS Caller ID is available to users in one-time as well as permanent mode. The on-demand anti-identifier cannot be connected:

  • subscribers of the “Cool” tariff[1].
  • with the “AntiAON” option active.

[1] Except for cases when the subscriber uses mobile Internet.

As with the use of a regular anti-caller ID, the caller’s digits are not identified on the screen of the called subscriber. The only difference is that there is a choice:

  1. Confirm that your phone is hidden for one call, after which the connection will be made in the standard way.
  2. Use this option constantly, with the smartphone settings described below. And make exceptions for any call by dialing the request *31# “dial phone”.

Option cost

If you plan to use the service periodically, then the subscriber can connect to AntiAON on request by paying 32 rubles for this. The subscription fee will be charged every day for 1.05 rubles.

The cost of one-time use is 2 rubles per connection, which is debited upon making a call.

Important! The subscription fee, as well as payment for a specific call, are made independently of each other. Example: three connections for a dialogue from a hidden number will cost: 3 * 2 = 6 rubles, written off in addition to the daily cost of the option itself.

Activation

The ability to connect an anti-identifier appears after setting up the phone in the call menu to send your number. The user needs to set the value to "no".

Activation available:

  1. Through your personal account.
  2. By entering the USSD code *111*84#.
  3. In the "My MTS" application.

Attention! To prohibit identification of your number, dial the combination of numbers: #31#“calling phone” call.

How to connect caller ID to Beeline?

  • The first way to connect AntiAON for a Beeline SIM card is to use the USSD command. Open the dialing menu and enter the command *110*071# . After 10-15 seconds, an SMS message will be sent to your number with information that the anti-caller ID option is enabled.
  • The second way is to call a special phone. Open the dialing menu and enter the number 067409071.
  • The third way is to log into your personal phone number account via a smartphone or computer. Go to the additional services section and activate the Caller ID feature.

Sometimes the service will not work immediately after connection. To complete the activation of the Anti-AON option, go to your phone settings and turn off the display of the number. Now you can call other subscribers in incognito mode.

You can enable and disable the function an unlimited number of times. For example, you can activate the anti-caller ID option, make one call and disable the function. To deactivate the anti-identifier, enter the USSD command *110*070#.

In the "My MTS" application

This application works like a Personal Account with the difference that it works on a mobile phone without the need for access to a computer. This creates convenience while traveling.

  1. Install this application from the Play Market online store if your smartphone has an Android operating system, or from the App Store if you are the owner of an Apple device, such as an iPad or iPhone.
  2. Launch the application by clicking on its icon on the phone screen.
  3. If an MTS SIM card is installed in your smartphone, authorization will take place automatically. Otherwise, you will need to provide a phone number and receive a password via SMS message. This procedure is called registration.
  4. Log in to the application by filling in your phone number and password.
  5. In the center of the displayed window, click the “Services” button.
  6. In the “Connected” tab that opens, a list of existing services will be displayed. Find it and turn it off by clicking on the red switch located on the right.

How to hide a number

In order to make your contact number confidential, you need to perform simple manipulations with your mobile phone. To activate the service, they often use the MTS portal - *111*46#. After your application has been processed, a notification about Antiaon activation will be sent to the specified number.

Alternative connection methods:

  1. call to number 0890 - the subscriber is taken to the voice menu section, where you need to select a specific service direction and confirm it by selecting the appropriate number;
  2. activation via the Internet - go to the main MTS website and select the “Personal Account” section. In the “services” tab you can select Antiaon and activate it personally;
  3. technical support service that will help you hide your number. To receive qualified assistance, you must answer the operator’s questions, as well as confirm your passport data.

Easy connection

Even if you simply enable the option on your phone, the anti-identifier will not work just like that. This service must be activated. To use a hidden number once, you only need to pay an additional two rubles to the total cost of the call.

To activate the service, you can use a simple combination * 111 * 46 #, and then press the call button. The anti-call service will be activated within a few minutes, and you can use it.

In addition, connection to the service is also available in your personal account on the MTS website. There is also always the opportunity to contact the company’s office and help desk, where specialists will be happy to help with connecting services.

However, you should not forget that the MTS company has a super identifier service available, which makes it possible to see your phone. Also, each subscriber has access to details in his personal account. Therefore, you should not use anti-aon for inappropriate purposes.

Caller ID is a convenient service that allows you to remain anonymous when making calls. However, when it ceases to be relevant and useful, the operator’s client asks how to disable Antiaon on MTS, what is needed for this and what is the cost of disabling. You can carry out this procedure yourself or with the help of company representatives quite quickly.

Caller ID is a paid service activated by subscribers, usually as a temporary measure. Moreover, it can be used on an ongoing basis or “on demand,” as suggested by the telecom operator. A separate payment upon connection is made for adding the option to the main list and a subscription fee is charged separately. AntiAon “on request” is cheaper, but the fee will be charged at the time the call is made to the requested number. In both cases, deactivation is free of charge.

You can disable the AntiAon service on MTS in the following ways:

  1. In your “personal account” on the operator’s official website or in the application. To do this, you need to log in and go to the “Service Management” section. In the list of all services, you will need to uncheck this option. After this, you should save the changes.
  2. By calling the contact center. To do this, you need to call 8 800 250 0890 MTS Russia and ask a company employee about this operation. Based on the results of processing the request, an SMS message with the result will be sent to the subscriber.
  3. By typing a combination of numbers. To cancel the connection of the Anti-Identifier on a permanent basis, you will need to select the command *111*47#, “on request” - *111*84# and press the call key. The response to the request will also be sent via SMS.
  4. By contacting the company's sales office. This method is the most expensive, but effective. To apply, you will need to present your passport and the phone number on which you want to disconnect. An SMS will be sent upon completion of the transaction.

The fastest and most convenient ways to disconnect can be considered using the “Personal Account”, calling the operator and dialing a combination of numbers. In all cases, the procedure is free of charge. Reconnection of the anti-determinant is possible at any time.

One-time number opening

As mentioned earlier, within the framework of the service provided, you can hide your contact information both on an ongoing basis and one-time. If you use the service on an ongoing basis, but for some reason you need the number information to be available to the subscriber you are calling, you need to dial the command *31*+7(number you are going to call)#.

The command will look something like this *31*+79991234567#. Next, press the call button, after which you will be connected to the desired subscriber.

Description

The service is used by subscribers who need to disguise their phone combination from prying eyes. Once connected, the service works continuously for all numbers, except for rare exceptions.

“AntiAON” does not guarantee 100% secrecy; there are several points that interfere with the operation of the option:
