Remote service

For clients of MegaFon Joint Stock Company who are registered as an individual entrepreneur or individual, remote service can be arranged. Having executed an agreement, the so-called corporate client can now:

• use many services and options, connecting them or then disabling them as unnecessary;
• make changes to the concluded agreement. However, this will require sending a special request using the client email specified by both parties;
• change your email address or code.

The corporate client then receives an individual number when he submits an application requesting the start of remote servicing. It is considered for no more than two days, after which the client will know in a notification from the operator whether he received such an opportunity or was denied for good reasons, and the operator has the right not to explain this reason. But most often this happens due to current legislation, lack of proper information from the client or according to the rules of the contract.

Once the connection has occurred, you can use remote maintenance. It continues until the client refuses it, or until the operator stops providing this service due to a violation of the concluded contract.

All applications sent by a corporate client using e-mail are considered to be in writing; the signature of the person must also be present, confirming the authenticity of the document. Such a signature is a kind of analogue; in fact, it is a code word representing a special set of letters/numbers.

It should be noted: it happens that, through no fault of the company, there is a violation of the confidentiality of any information during its transfer, including communications that do not belong to MegaFon. This condition is provided for in the contract, and the operator is not responsible for information leakage if unauthorized access occurs.

Using short codes

MegaFon's communication agreement includes a service that uses short numbers.

This includes:

• multimedia message. This information is sent in various formats. For example, in graphic, text, digital, video, etc.
• short text message. This message is informational in digital format;
• direction identifier for information connection to take place in the WEB. This type of connection makes it possible to send requests directly to the provider’s information center;
• high-speed interactive interaction service. Occurs between the subscriber and service applications.

In order to be able to work on the Internet, there is a condition: the client has equipment that meets certain modern standards and has a special SIM card.

In channel communication mode, information is transmitted with certain characteristics and is provided by modern CSD technologies.

To transmit the necessary data, there is a traffic channel. The multi-slot mode will allow you to have several time slots.

Types of power of attorney at Megafon

To begin with, I would like to note that a power of attorney is considered a document that is issued to a specific person in order to represent the interests of another individual or legal entity before third parties.
Everyone should know that any trust document is divided into several types. A power of attorney to represent interests is no exception, so it can be issued in two types: simple or general. Below we will look at the main differences between them.

Simple

Most likely, its purpose immediately becomes clear from the very name of this type. According to the current legislation of the Russian Federation, a simple power of attorney is allowed to be issued in any form, both in person and in printed form. In addition to the signature of the witness, this document sometimes needs to be certified by a notary office - this depends on what actions such a power of attorney will involve. All existing situations in which the intervention of a notary is necessary are prescribed in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

Also speaking about a simple power of attorney, it should be noted that the list of powers of the attorney is extremely limited - that is why its name speaks for itself. At the same time, the authorized representative is obliged to notify directly the owner of the subscriber number about each operation performed.

It is allowed to certify such paper by other persons besides the notary. Let's take, for example, a situation when a subscriber needs to get or replace a SIM card, but he does not have the opportunity to do this due to a long stay in hospital treatment in a medical institution. In this case, he has every reason to draw up a power of attorney to carry out the relevant actions on his behalf to another person. The head physician of this medical institution has the right to certify such a document.

If an individual acts on behalf of a certain organization, the document can be certified by personnel department employees.

Alternative to termination

Today, the telephone number of any subscriber is an integral part of life. It is left for feedback in banks, social networks and other resources. If the numbers are changed, it will cause huge inconvenience. Before terminating the contract, you should think carefully about whether you need to do this or not. It may be worth using alternative options:

• If you do not like the quality of the communication services provided, then you have the opportunity to switch to another operator using MNP. When the SIM card is issued to you and there is no debt, you need to submit an application to the operator at the communication shop. If the number is direct, you will not be able to port it. This is only possible with the federal format.
• You have moved to live in another region. In order not to change the numbers, you just need to change the tariff. For example, on “Turn on!” This line operates throughout the Russian Federation.
• Lost your SIM card. You need to come to the Megafon office, taking your passport with you and restore your SIM card.

Company employees themselves can submit information.

Employees of the organization who have an account with State Services can activate the SIM card themselves. To do this they must:

• wait for the activation request in your personal State Services account. In this case, you need to check and confirm your data.

When talking about a power of attorney to represent interests, you need to take into account the fact that it must be drawn up on a special form intended for this purpose, indicating the TIN.

The main attribute is also a record with the date of its preparation, since in the absence of such a record the power of attorney will be invalid.

When drawing up a trust document, legal entities are required to provide the following information:

• Title of the document;
• place of compilation;
• in the event that this document has not been certified by a notary, it must clearly indicate the legal address of the certificate;
• the following data is information about the authorized person and the principal:
• For individuals: name, address and registration number, if relevant here;
• For legal entities: full name and actual address of residence;
• powers delegated to the trustee;
• autograph directly from the owner of the Megafon subscriber number.

How to correctly draw up a power of attorney for individuals at Megafon

There are situations when such a power of attorney is issued by an individual. Such a document requires you to provide slightly different information than the one issued by legal entities. Basic data that must be displayed in such a trust document:

• the exact date when this paper was issued;
• full information about the witness – full name, passport details and full date of birth;
• complete information about the authorized person, including a list of powers that he will be entitled to exercise while holding such a document;
• validity period of the power of attorney;

How organizations can purchase SIM cards from June 1, 2021

On June 1, 2021, new rules for the provision of corporate mobile communication services to organizations and individual entrepreneurs came into force (Federal Law No. 533-FZ dated December 30, 2020).

Other changes include a new procedure for businesses to purchase corporate SIM cards via the Internet, which are supposed to be used in various types of equipment (for example, online cash registers) or in mobile devices of company employees.

According to the new rules, an organization or individual entrepreneur can enter into an agreement for the provision of communication services and purchase corporate SIM cards via the Internet in one of the following ways (Clause 1, Article 44 of the Federal Law of July 7, 2003 No. 126-FZ “On Communications”):

• using an enhanced qualified electronic signature;
• using an enhanced unqualified electronic signature, the verification key certificate of which has been created and is used to provide state and municipal services in electronic form;
• using a simple electronic signature, the key of which was received in person when applying for state and municipal services in electronic form.

What happens if you don’t terminate the contract?

Not all SIM cards fall into the hands of scammers. Often subscribers leave them in some place at home and forget about it for a long time. What could happen in this situation? According to the terms of the agreement, a subscription fee is charged after 3 months to a number from which calls and other paid actions are not made.

The amount varies depending on the connected tariff. When the shutdown threshold is reached, the contract is immediately terminated automatically. The phone number will be on sale. But it can be restored. Only this procedure can be carried out in the form of a new connection. Afterwards you need to select a tariff plan and make an advance payment. It is worth considering that you may not receive the number if another user buys it first.

If your tariff is modern, then your room balance will not go into minus. Today this possibility is not allowed. If the tariff plan is old, you need to be very careful with it.
