• All incoming calls are free and unlimited.
• Calls within the Yota network are free and do not consume minutes from the package, even if you choose a package without minutes.
• If the minutes have run out (or were not purchased), then outgoing ones cost 2.50 ₽/minute, or you can connect an additional package of 100 minutes for 180 ₽.
• If the traffic package is over, the access speed is reduced to 64 Kbps.
• SMS throughout Russia costs 2.50 ₽/message.
• The unlimited SMS package costs 50 ₽ per month. It is renewed automatically.

Notes and Limitations

• A SIM card for a tablet cannot be used in modems or routers. If such a violation is noticed by the provider, the Internet speed will instantly drop to 64 kilobits per second.
• Unlimited packages are blocked if you have run out of the main traffic package and have insufficient funds in your account!
• There is also a limitation that reduces the speed of downloading files via torrents to 32 kilobits per second.
• You can distribute the Internet to other devices without any restrictions.
• Regarding the “distribution” of the unlimited package, there is a corresponding clause in Yota’s terms of service: “In the case of distributing the Internet on the “Unlimited Internet” Tariff package, the distribution speed may be limited to 128 Kbps.” As a result, the speed “may be limited,” but “maybe not.” Everything is at the discretion of the operator.
• In some hard-to-reach localities of the Russian Federation, there is an Internet speed limit of up to 64 Kbps.

Yota clients have a flexible range of tariffs and service packages. Subscribers can set up ideal conditions for the provision of services based on their needs.

We purchase a SIM card

There are two ways to purchase SIM cards from a given mobile operator:

1. place an order on the official website;
2. personally visit the provider's point of sale.

The cost of the card is 300 rubles, and this amount is automatically credited to the balance. When ordering a SIM on the official website, the client has access to various payment methods:

1. electronic wallets: “WebMoney”, “QIWI”;
2. online banking – payments using credit cards, etc.

Free delivery is available to customers from Moscow. If the order is placed between 11 am and 5 pm, the operator contacts the client within an hour (Figure 2). If the order arrives later, a call with information about card delivery should be expected the next day.

Types of tariffs for tablets

For all subscribers who connect a SIM card for the first time, the “Basic” tariff is automatically activated. It includes:

• outgoing calls - 2.5 rubles;
• SMS/MMS – 2.5 rub.

Incoming calls, with the exception of the Crimea peninsula, are not charged.

Next, the subscriber, if necessary, can contact the company’s office or use the mobile application and change the tariff (Figure 3).

The terms of the “Basic megabyte” tariff include:

• internet – 9.9 rub. for 1 MB;
• cost of calls, SMS, MMS – 2.5 rubles.

The “Per-second” tariff is charged as follows:

• calls to Yota numbers – 0.1 rub/second;
• calls to numbers of other operators, with the exception of Crimea – 0.1 rub/second;
• SMS/MMS – 2.5 rub.

Incoming calls outside the Home region, with the exception of the Crimea peninsula - 0.1 r/second. For “per second”, unlimited Internet for a tablet is not available. However, you can enable the “per-megabyte Internet” option (Figure 4).

The advantages of using the services of the mobile operator Yota include a flexible system for setting up and paying for tariff packages. Each client can independently:

1. purchase the required amount of Internet;
2. calculate the cost of the tariff before connecting it;
3. connect unlimited options;
4. pay for the Internet in different ways.

The disadvantages often include poor signal levels in some regions.

How to buy a SIM card and set up Yota on a tablet

You can buy a Yota SIM card at any operator’s company store or through a dealer network. The cost of the starter package for the tablet is 300 rubles, and the entire amount is immediately credited to your account. You can order a SIM card on the website; for residents of Moscow, delivery of packages is absolutely free.

Setting up in modern tablets occurs automatically; you just need to install a SIM card in the slot. If automatic setup does not occur, then proceed as follows: “Settings - SIM cards and mobile networks”, select the desired SIM card and then add an access point (APN) - internet.yota (without writing https:// or www). Save settings and activate data transfer.

Iota is known for its favorable tariff conditions and unlimited Internet. Many people switch to Iota because of the opportunity to independently choose the configuration of the service package. “ Year ” is also a popular solution. The Internet tariff Eta for a tablet with a long-term subscription is necessary in a number of cases:
