“Tariffishche” from MTS: detailed review, pros and cons

On August 14, 2021, MTS opened for connection a tariff plan with the next “original” name “Tariffishche” (by the way, in MTS documents this tariff is called “Unlimited 2.0”) with unlimited Internet access. Let's take a closer look at MTS's offer: what's included, how much it costs, and what restrictions there are on this tariff plan.

MTS Tariffishche tariff: detailed description

Subscription fee in Moscow and the region from 612 ₽ per month for 700 minutes and SMS to 1,107 ₽ for 1,700 minutes and SMS. In St. Petersburg, the cost starts from 475 ₽ for 600 minutes and sms to 1,125 ₽ for a package of 1,600 minutes and sms. Unlimited traffic in your home region (according to the “Triple Unlimited” promotion) with any set of minutes and SMS messages.
If there is insufficient funds in the account to write off 100% of the subscription fee, money from the account begins to be debited on a daily basis and the tariff “rises in price” by 30%. Personal opinion

Well... MTS once again managed to unpleasantly surprise. But let's start with the positive aspects.

Packages of minutes and SMS have become more for the same money. The mobile operator added 200 minutes and SMS to each package. But this is for Moscow and the region. I haven't tested it in other regions.
The “Unlimited Internet” option now costs 200 rubles per month. It already cost 100, 200, 350 and was free. Now it’s 200 rubles a month again. This is clearly better than the previous option - 350 rubles per month.

If we abstract from changes and comparisons with the previous version, then the tariff is quite normal. For packages of minutes, SMS and mobile Internet. It is possible to connect unlimited Internet for an additional fee. And, it would seem, what could go wrong. And all…

What I don’t like about the Tariffishche tariff plan:

Unlimited Internet only works in your home region. Maybe one of the numerous services will already be interested in an operator who has forgotten about the abolition of intranet roaming?
You can only distribute a limited amount of the main Internet package. And this is even without the “Unlimited Internet” option. And if you exceed the package, pay 80 rubles per calendar day on the days you use the distribution.
File-sharing networks: 5 GB are allocated per calendar day for 75 rubles when trying to connect to torrents or other services. Are these conditions adequate? No, of course not!

If you do not take into account unlimited mobile Internet and distribution to other devices, then the tariff is quite normal. But a step to the left or a step to the right - pay, pay and pay some more. It’s scary to even imagine how much MTS can pump out of an inattentive subscriber who decides to give away the Internet.

The mobile operator focuses on the “Exchange gigabytes for cashback” promotion with the “Unlimited Internet” option disabled or on MTS Premium with the option enabled. But in the first case, we can say that this is a tariff with a mobile Internet package, and not a tariff for calls. A discount for unused gigs is not bad, but nothing more. MTS Premium is a privilege program that is still worth understanding, until I haven’t seen any cool offers there. But what I would focus on is a bunch of conditions in a detailed description that can suck money from the balance. And it is especially noteworthy that compared to the previous version of the tariff, where everything was already bad in this regard, MTS added an automatically connected paid distribution when the main package for distribution is used up - for 80 rubles per calendar day. And the days themselves are calendar days! Not 24 hours, but until 12 o'clock at night. For example, if you started distributing at 23 o’clock, you will be charged 80 rubles for 1 hour, and then, if you continue to distribute after 12 o’clock at night, another 80 rubles will be charged for the next day.

If you decide to connect a tariff, and I remind you that under certain usage scenarios it is not so terrible, then I would recommend that you further study all the conditions in the detailed description in your region. This is exactly the kind of tariff where without it you can’t go anywhere.

Basic Features

The “Unlimited” tariff plan includes such offers from mobile operators as:

Calls to MTS user numbers without restrictions;
200 free messages per month;
200 minutes are provided monthly for calls within the Russian Federation.

Important! When choosing the “Unlimited” tariff, in addition to the daily subscription fee, you will need to pay a one-time payment of 300 rubles for connecting the TP.

Packages include:

Unlimited Internet;
500 SMS and minutes for calls with a total cost of 650;
800 SMS and minutes at a price of 800;
1500 SMS and minutes – for 1050;
3000 SMS and minutes – for 1550 rubles per month.

On the official MTS website, by opening pages with any of these TPs, you will see a scale for adjusting the services provided. This means that you can customize the tariff in a way that is convenient for you, select the required number of messages and time for calls, and the “Unlimited” tariff also includes the required number of Gigabytes of Internet. The cost of the package you have collected will be immediately calculated there.

Additional options for “Tariff”

The “Unlimited Internet” option costs 210 ₽ per month, but it only works in your home region. When traveling to another region of Russia, traffic will be consumed from the package included in the tariff;
For using torrents, automatically charged every day (when you downloaded something, of course). Moreover, from zero hours of the day in which the debit was made until 23:59 of the same day, only 5 GB is available to the subscriber. traffic. Afterwards the 5 GB limit was exhausted. torrents are blocked by the operator (you can download them for an additional fee through the “Turbo buttons”).

If there is not enough money in the account

If there are not enough funds in your account to pay the monthly subscription fee for Tariffishche, then the operator automatically “includes” daily debiting of the subscription fee, which, of course, is much more expensive. The amount of the daily subscription fee depends on the selected volume of services, namely:

A package of 700 minutes + 700 SMS costs 29.50 rubles per day (which is 885 rubles for 30 days or + 30% to the monthly subscription fee);
A package of 950 minutes + 950 SMS costs RUB 36.50 per day (RUB 1,095 per month);
A package of 1,200 minutes + 1,200 SMS costs 43 ₽ per day (1,290 ₽/month);
A package of 1,700 minutes + 1,700 SMS costs RUB 54.50 per day (RUB 1,635/month);

The cost of Internet, minutes and SMS is beyond the limits

At MTS Tariffishche, the cost of outgoing calls above the limit depends on the volume of the connected package. The more minutes, the lower the price per minute of conversation outside the package:

When choosing a minimum package of 700 minutes - 1.90 ₽.
If a package of 950 minutes is activated - 1.60 ₽.
With a package of 1200 minutes - 1.30 ₽.
With the maximum possible volume of 1700 minutes - 1.10 ₽.

At the same time, the operator did not separate calls within and outside its region and set a single price. In fact, MTS just went and canceled the intercity service.

The same principle applies to the SMS package. If you use up all the messages, the cost of one SMS will be 3 rubles, regardless of the location of the recipient and his telecom operator.

If the Internet package has expired, then access to the Internet is maintained. The operator does not limit the speed, but connects additional traffic packages of 1 GB, costing 160 rubles each. To disable additional Internet on the Tariffishche tariff plan, dial *111*936#.

How to add minutes to MTS Tariffishche

You cannot activate additional minutes on the Tariffische tariff plan.

If the basic package of minutes has expired, the subscriber has only two options: pay for calls at the rates indicated above and wait for the limit to be restored, or switch to a more expensive set of minutes and SMS.

Activation of the tariff is free; upon connection, the subscriber automatically receives a package of 700 minutes and 700 sms, for which the subscription fee for the first month of use is immediately charged. The package can then be changed to any other one to suit your needs.

When you connect to the tariff, several options are automatically activated : Zabugorishche, Mobile Internet, Access without settings, Video call, They called you, GOOD'OK and GOOD'OK Smart. If you do not need these services, do not forget to disable them.

Additional Information

You can switch to the tariff plan from August 14. In the first month after connection, the subscription fee is charged in two equal installments. Later - a single debiting of funds from the SIM card.

It is important to clarify that pricing is only suitable for smartphones and tablets. When using a SIM card in a modem, it will be inaccessible, and access to the World Wide Web is limited.

The balances of monthly packages are not carried over to the next reporting period. They expire at the end of each month.

Tariff restrictions

When traveling outside your home region, you can only use 500 MB. traffic per day. Then the speed is reduced to 128 Kb/sec. until the next day and unlimited turns into a maximum of 15 GB. per month if, for example, you went on a business trip or to the village to visit your grandmother; Hooray! MTS has lifted restrictions on the use of the Internet when traveling around Russia.
You cannot distribute traffic via Wi-Fi, USB or Bluetooth! It is possible, but not more than 10 GB. per month.
You cannot use torrents! It is possible, but for an additional fee (see above).

How MTS Tariffishche works when traveling around Russia, Crimea and abroad

When traveling within the Russian Federation, the MTS Tariffishche tariff works under the same conditions as at home.

To use Internet, call and message packages in Crimea, you need to activate the “Home package Russia+” option. Otherwise, roaming will apply, and you will have to pay for absolutely everything: traffic, minutes and SMS.

The option is activated immediately for 30 days and is renewed automatically. Cost per month – 500 rubles. The command *111*128# connects and disconnects.

When traveling abroad, the “Zabugorische” roaming option is enabled, and the cost of traffic, minutes and messages is determined by the user’s country of residence.

How to check the remaining traffic for free traffic distribution on MTS

The easiest way to find out how much traffic is left within the free 10 GB. package, you need to log into your personal account on the MTS website or open the “My MTS” application on your smartphone and write the phrase “Package balances” . In the response message from the bot, you will receive the rest of the minutes, SMS and traffic at your tariff, and the data after the phrase “Modem mode (Free)” will mean the rest of the free package for distribution.

You can change the tariff package through your personal account or in the smartphone application.

How to set up a tariff plan?

Those who connected the tariff plan outside the communication store will have to further configure the connection. This requires:

visit your personal account;
set appropriate parameters;
save the selected settings.

Additionally, you need to make sure that your balance contains the amount required for activation. If it is missing, you will need to deposit funds in any convenient way. You can also top up your balance through your personal account by visiting the appropriate section.

Pros and cons of MTS Tariffishe TP

Usually I write about the pros first, and then about the cons, but with this tariff we will do the opposite, unfortunately.

Minuses

Why do subscribers need such “unlimited” Internet, which is limited when traveling?
Why do subscribers need such “unlimited” Internet that cannot be distributed from the phone?
Why do subscribers need such “unlimited” Internet, which is blocked on torrents?
Let's go further: in all previous package tariffs, after the package was exhausted, outgoing calls within the network remained free and unlimited: now this is not the case, be careful!
Crimea and Sevastopol are “in the air”, and nothing is written about this in the tariff conditions (other operators at least honestly write in small print that the tariff does not work in this region. For some reason MTS is hiding it).
And one more thing: unused minutes of calls and SMS are not carried over to the next month;

Plus

There is no need to think about what number you are making an outgoing call to. Everything costs the same. It's comfortable;

Eventually

Actually, there is nothing more to say about the new tariff from MTS. With such significant restrictions, it’s easier to connect either “HYIP”, in the sense of “X” with a bunch of truly unlimited sites, but cheaper.
