“AntiAON” service from the Tele2 operator - connection and disconnection

If an incoming call is received, information about the interlocutor, his phone number, and name are displayed on the screen of the mobile device, provided that the owner of the smartphone has previously added the user to the directory. All this is done thanks to the automatic number identification service, which is installed by default for the provider’s users. If you want the user to not see personal information when making an outgoing call at the other end of the line, then activate the Anti-AON function of Tele2. The option has a number of limitations and provisioning features that it is advisable for the consumer to familiarize themselves with before connecting and using it.

What is AntiAON

Each Tele2 subscriber is connected by default. It is provided without a monthly fee and allows you to determine the number of the calling subscriber. The service does not require a connection and is provided as part of the basic package. “AntiAON” is its antipode - it allows you to hide your own phone number when dialing another subscriber.

This service is used to make anonymous calls to other subscribers. They will not see the phone number of the calling subscriber; instead, one of the inscriptions is displayed on the display - “Anonymous call”, “Unknown number”, “Number not identified”, etc. The content of the inscription depends on the model of the mobile phone and its firmware. You can block such calls by activating the corresponding functions in the black list. If this feature is not available, install the blacklist and whitelist app from the app store for your mobile platform.

Control via USSD commands

To connect the caller ID, dial the following combination *117*1# on the phone keypad and press the call button. After 3-5 minutes it will be added to the number, and you can remain incognito when making outgoing calls.

You can also check the status of the option - is it currently active or is it suspended on the number. To do this, dial another command *117# and wait for a response from the system. The report will arrive as a regular text message. Afterwards, you can connect the anti-determinant or discard it.

Deactivation also takes place in a few seconds. To disable Caller ID, dial *117*0# on your phone and press the call button. The system will automatically create a deletion request and you will receive an information alert.

How to connect

The service can be activated in four ways:

  • Using your personal account – go to the “Services – Security” section and activate “AntiAON” by pressing one button;
  • In the “My Tele2” mobile application - by analogy with your personal account;
  • Using the USSD command *117*1# – dial the command and confirm your intentions;
  • At Tele2 branded service offices, present your passport and voice your wishes to the consultant.

– controlled, it must be additionally activated in the call settings. By default, the “Use network settings” mode is set here. To make an anonymous call, select the “Hide number” mode.

Manual control is also provided - select “Use network settings” and control the anti-identifier manually. This is done using the prefix #31#, dialed before the phone number. For example, #31#+7951XXXXXXXX or #31#8951XXXXXXXX. If you substitute a prefix without a connected service (as was done before), the anti-identifier will not work.

To check the current status of the service (connected or disabled), use the USSD command *117#. The response will appear on the display within 2-3 seconds from the moment the command is sent.

How to hide a number for free through your phone settings

If you need to hide your data when calling a specific contact (one-time use of hidden data), you can use a little trick. Before the contact number, put the combination #31# and make a call. In this case, there is no need to connect and pay for the hidden number service on Tele2. The outgoing call should look like this: #31#89284590100 call.

Changing Android smartphone settings

You can make your personal information hidden without paying for the company’s services. All you need to do is change your phone settings. For the Android operating system, the instructions are as follows:

  • "Settings" menu;
  • “Call Settings” tab;
  • open “Advanced options” here;
  • select “Determinant...”;
  • check the box next to “Hide...”.
  • reboot the device.

Changing iOS smartphone settings

It won’t be difficult to figure out how to hide your Tele2 number on iOS for free using the settings. They work like this:

  • "Settings" menu;
  • “Phone” tab;
  • find the item “Show phone number...”;
  • set the slider to the Off position;
  • reboot the gadget.

Features and Limitations

Now you know how to enable AntiAON on Tele2 and start making anonymous calls. But the service is provided with some restrictions:

  • Identification prohibition is guaranteed only for calls within the network;
  • Both subscribers (called and calling) must be located within the same region, otherwise the operation of the service is not guaranteed;
  • When calling the 611 hotline, it is impossible to listen to information about the balance and the availability of paid services/options.

The operator guarantees the functionality of the anti-identifier only if both subscribers are served in the Tele2 network of the same region - when calling to other regions, the service may fail.

As practice shows, “AntiAON” works successfully not only within the network, but also when calling numbers of other local operators. Don't forget to block detection in the call settings - these settings are present in all phones and smartphones.

Another limitation is related to the use of the called subscriber. In this case, AntiAON will not work. This service is designed to identify the phone number of the calling subscriber if he abuses the anti-identifier. It is provided with a subscription fee of 4.1 rubles/day with a one-time connection fee of 4.1 rubles. The service is activated by the command *210*1# and disabled by the combination *210*0#. It is recommended for connection to those who are tired of countless anonymous calls.

Now you know how to connect AntiAON on Tele2 and hide your number. We strongly do not recommend abusing this opportunity and using it to commit illegal actions against other persons. After all, such calls are easily tracked by contacting the police.

For several years he worked in mobile phone stores of two large operators. I understand tariffs well and see all the pitfalls. I love gadgets, especially Android ones.

Description of Tele2

(or AntiAON for short) is designed to make calls incognito. After connecting it, when making calls, the called subscribers will see the message “Number hidden” instead of your phone.

Unfortunately, or maybe for the better, the option does not guarantee absolute anonymity, but in most cases its capabilities will be enough to hide your phone number from strangers.

Before installing Anti-AON, take into account the fact that many people fundamentally do not answer calls from undetectable phones for security reasons.

Price

For connecting AntiAON, a one-time payment in the amount of 3 rubles 10 kopecks is debited from your account.

The subscription fee is charged daily at midnight and is 3 rubles 10 kopecks per day. When the balance runs out, its accrual is suspended and the service is blocked until the account is replenished.

Terms of use of AntiAON

Anti-AON applies only to calls and does not affect the sending of SMS messages; they are delivered to other mobile users indicating the sender's phone number.

Activating the service does not mean that your number will remain unknown for absolutely all calls. It depends on which phone you are making the call to. Tele2 guarantees the operation of AntiAON only between its subscribers located in the same home region. Despite the hidden number, it can be determined (sometimes) when calling landline numbers and phones of other mobile operators Megafon, MTS and Beeline.

In addition, if the called party uses the Hidden Number Identifier option or its equivalent, they will recognize your phone number. Therefore, you cannot be completely sure that with AntiAON you will be able to reliably hide your number.

Please note that if you have hidden it, the Tele2 automatic help service will no longer recognize your number. When you call the short number 611, you will not have access to information about the status of your account, tariff plan, paid subscriptions and options.

Features of the mobile operator Tele2

The telecommunications company Tele2 appeared on the communications market much later than its current competitors Megafon, Beeline and MTS. But despite this, it is on the list of leading mobile operators. The reasons for the rapid growth of its popularity are associated with several beneficial factors:

  1. Cheap monthly maintenance fee. To this you can also add relatively favorable tariff conditions. So, if you compare the “Very Black” tariff from Tele2 and the “Smart” tariff from MTS, you can notice significant differences. The fee for the Tele two tariff plan is 150 rubles, and for Smart you will have to pay 250 rubles. The functionality of the first tariff includes a large Internet package - 4 gigabytes, 300 SMS and 350 minutes of free calls within the network. MTS does not have such characteristics. The size of the Internet package is only 2 gigabytes, but this tariff still has its own characteristic advantage - the possibility of unlimited communication with people who use the services of a similar operator.
  2. Quality service. The Tele2 operator promptly notifies its customers about all innovations and gives the opportunity to switch to other tariff conditions for free. If the subscriber is concerned about any question, he can always contact the call center operator at any time of the day.
  3. Conscientious attitude towards clients. The operator confirms this point by the fact that it does not activate any additional services or subscriptions for which a subscription fee is charged.

The advantages can also include all the available services on Tele2. Most of them are designed for the comfort and convenience of subscribers, because often the services are either completely free or require small financial investments.

When the opportunity to hide themselves arose, many began to try this service as an experiment. Some people called their friends as a joke and had fun, and some even with malicious intent. When the CTN is hidden and the voice is difficult to recognize, people can be seriously annoyed. In most cases this goes unpunished.

After the launch of AntiAON, operators began to receive many complaints. Of course, the company cannot act as an arbiter in such situations.

In case of threats from a hidden number, Tele 2 specialists recommend contacting the police department to protect your interests.

Callers often demand to know the phone number from which the call was made. The specialist has no right to do this. The operator proposed the following scheme: when an attacker makes a call, you need to talk to him for at least 3 seconds. Next, you need to remember the exact time. Then, details of Tele2 calls are ordered in your personal account. If the connection lasted more than 3 seconds, the call will be recorded and displayed in the report. In it, AntiAON does not hide calls, so everything is visible when viewing.

There is one more trick. If an attacker calls from a hidden number several times, you can turn off the phone, wait a while and turn it on again. If you receive SMS notifications about missed calls, then this message will indicate the CTN of the person who called you using Anti-AON.

In order not to bother with such schemes, we developed a special service, which was popularly called “SuperAON”. In Tele 2 it is called “Identifier of intentionally hidden numbers.” The service allows you to determine the hidden Tele2 number in the case when “AntiAON” is connected.

In order to identify the necessary data, dial the command *210*1#Call. Disconnection using the same service code, only 1 is replaced by 0 - *210*0#Call. The cost of the service varies in different regions. For example, in Rostov-on-Don, connection is 1 ruble, subscriber. fee - 1 rub. per day. In Moscow, activation is free, and the daily payment is ten rubles per day. You can listen to information about the service and manage it by calling the short number 655.

Connecting a blacklist

The option has the same limitations and nuances as the previous service. Everything works correctly if you are both blocked in your home region, and both are within the Tele2 network. USSD requests for working with the service:

  • *210*1# — to activate the service;
  • *210*0# — to disable the service;
  • *210# — to check the status.

The “Black List” service costs 4.1 rubles per day, money is debited at the time of activation, and then every day at approximately midnight.

All Tele2 subscribers have caller ID activated by default on all tariffs. An anti-determinant is offered as a response to the default function, but it does not always work. In fact, there are no ways to reliably hide your phone number on a cellular network; there is always the possibility of finding it out. The simplest one is call detailing.

One time connection

To save on subscription fees, you can not keep the option constantly activated, but activate it only for one-time calls. After all, you don’t constantly call during the day with a hidden number, so the service is not always needed.

You can activate the option one time using the same methods as before, but after all calls have been made, the option can be immediately disabled. Using USSD requests makes this procedure quick and simple. You can place combinations in your contact book and call them with speed dialing.

Situations when the option will not work

  1. For the function to work, both phones must be on the same network and in the same region. Home region is the one where the SIM card was purchased. If your subscriber is currently roaming, the option may not work correctly and your number will be displayed.
  2. If you are calling a third-party operator's number, then the option may also be useless. The fact is that each operator uses different equipment with different technologies in his work. So there is no guarantee that your number will be blocked.
  3. In addition, for every tricky service there is an anti-service, and this is a hidden caller ID. The option blocks the anti-identifier, and it will not be possible to hide the number. If the subscriber has this service activated, then your number will be displayed in any case.
  4. Another point - if your number was hidden during the call, this does not mean that the subscriber will not be able to find out the number from which they called later. All he needs to do is order call details, and everything will be displayed there, including your number. In general, you should not rely on AntiAON as a panacea.

Additional terms

AntiAON may not work under certain circumstances. Here is their list:

  • One of the subscribers is outside the home region. Or they are located in different regions of the Russian Federation;
  • Stable operation is not guaranteed when calling numbers of another operator, as well as to home phones;
  • The number will not be hidden if the person you are calling has hidden caller ID enabled. Every operator has such a service, as well as an anti-identifier.

It is also worth noting that you will not be able to use the voice assistant in the Tele2 help service. Namely, to receive the balance status, a list of connected services, and the like.
