At the beginning of 2021, Sberbank created a virtual cellular network with favorable tariffs, the mobile operator was called “Let's Talk”. Six months later it was renamed. Now residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and surrounding areas can become Sbermobile subscribers. Other regions will be able to join the operator by the end of 2021.

SberMobile from Sberbank does not have its own towers and the equipment is based on the Tele2 platform. The main reason for the demand for Sbermobile SIM cards was the ability to individually manage tariffs and the large number of partners and bank branches in Russia.

For example, if you introduce a call limit of 600 minutes and an Internet limit of 30 bytes, the subscription fee will be 850 rubles/month, additional services will be provided free of charge, and the return with “Thank you” bonuses will be up to 30%.

Tariff plan “Special”

A separate “Special” tariff plan is offered for disabled clients. For users with hearing impairments, there is a remote sign language interpretation service available free of charge. Blind people will be able to get a SIM card in their name without a power of attorney at a bank representative office.

How to start using

You can switch to the Sber Mobile operator with your own number or request a new one. The procedure consists of filling out an application, receiving a SIM card, and registering in the application.

Application Form

Completing an application begins by visiting the operator’s website. After opening the main page, the user must click “Order a card” in the upper right corner.

Next, you will need to select or collect your tariff and click “Order SIM card” again.

To place an order, you must leave your full name, locality, address, and contact information. If a client is registered with Sberbank online, he can log into the system and fill out an application in his personal account. In this case, you will not need to enter anything yourself.

Receiving a SIM card

You can get a SIM card at a bank branch or choose a courier delivery method. The method is determined by the client independently when filling out the application. The courier delivery method is not yet available in all regions of Russia; you can find out whether it is available in the applicant’s region on the SberMobile website. When placing an order, the delivery address field will be inactive if you select the courier method.

Number transfer

The subscriber will be able not only to receive a new number and transfer his old number to a new mobile connection. It's convenient and free. It’s more common to use the old number; relatives and friends will be able to call you.

You can transfer an unblocked number that has no debts. The operator can be changed no more than once every 2 months. Number transfer takes time, up to 8 days. The user will be provided with a temporary number to stay in touch.

If the subscriber already has a SberMobile SIM card, you can transfer the number through the mobile application.

You will need the following:

  • Open the application;
  • Create a request to port a number;
  • Go to the “More” section;
  • Click “Transfer number”;
  • Enter the transfer date.

Installation of SberMobile

Access to all services and maximum convenience of communication is possible in the SberMobile application.
To install it you will need to download the application. You can download the application only from official sources:

  • From the SberMobile website via the link;
  • For Android devices on Google Play follow the link;
  • For iPhone and iPad in the App Store via the link.

There is no fee for installing the application.

Registration in the application

To register in the application, you will need to enter the phone number specified in the application. The user will receive a password for the first login to their personal account. After logging into your personal account, it is recommended to change your password to a more familiar one.

You can apply for a SIM card directly from the application, without submitting an application on the website. To do this, after installing the application on your phone, you need to click “Order a SIM card,” fill in the data and confirm the order.

To register, you will need a SberMobile SIM card and a passport.

Procedure in the application:

Insert the SIM card into the phone and enter the application.

When logging into the application for the first time, the user will be prompted to continue activating the SIM card.

There is a barcode on the plastic SIM card, you need to scan it and click “Continue”.

The subscriber will be shown his tariff plan for control.

  • Scan the original passport.

Subscribers who are members of the Sberbank loyalty program will be able to receive points when paying their phone bill. The amount of accrual depends on the chosen tariff and ranges from 1 to 30%. This is higher than under the terms of the “Thank you from Sberbank” program. Increased bonuses will be awarded when you top up your account in the application, otherwise, for example, if the account is topped up through an ATM, bonuses are awarded in accordance with the Sberbank loyalty program.

You can use bonuses to pay for cellular communications in the amount of 99% of the payment amount, 1% (minimum 1 rub.) must be paid with your own funds. You can top up the balance of your phone or third parties; bonuses are awarded according to the tariff plan. The maximum one-time use can be 300 bonuses.

If the subscriber terminates the service agreement, the accumulated bonuses expire.
