On October 5, 2021, a new free service called “Limit” appeared on the official MTS website. In this article we will figure out what it gives. And here it’s immediately worth noting that in fact the service is not entirely new - it’s still the same “On Full Trust”, but with a new name.

However, in this article we will figure out what is provided within the framework and how to connect or disable it.

Features of use

At first glance, the “In Full Trust” function seems convenient. But as practice shows, it can lead to negative consequences. We are talking about attackers who, if a telephone device is stolen, will be able to talk at someone else’s expense until a certain threshold is reached. Considering the circumstances, topical information on how to disable the limit on an MTS phone will not hurt.

A not entirely positive side of the above-mentioned service is the forced subscription to paid newsletters. If you lose sight of this, you risk losing a considerable amount of money from your account. It often connected automatically, but that was before. Many were looking for options on how to disable the credit limit on MTS. Now this information is freely available. There are several ways to solve the problem, everyone chooses the appropriate one.

How to set up traffic limiting

We are interested in how we can change Internet traffic restrictions in order to fully take advantage of the Internet access services provided by the mobile operator.

Click “Mobile Restriction” (2 in Fig. 4), after which a window will appear:

Rice. 5. Limit data transfer

I duplicate the message in the “Limit data transfer” window (Fig. 5):

“The data connection will be disconnected when the specified limit is reached. Data usage is measured on the device and your service provider may calculate your traffic differently, so set a tighter limit."

Here we can only click on the “OK” button, confirming our desire to limit data transfer so as not to overpay and so that Android monitors the volume of traffic and stops access to the Internet in a timely manner.

Set a limit on the amount of data transferred

Next, we can adjust the controlled limit on the amount of data transferred on the Internet (Fig. 6).

Rice. 6. Traffic limit set – 5 GB

In Fig. 6 shows that the Internet traffic limit is 5 Gigabytes. If you click on the number 5.0 GB, which is visible on the Android screen, then in the window that appears (Fig. 7) we can set any other limit by typing numbers on the online keyboard, for example, 15 GB.

Rice. 7. You can set a traffic limit using the online keyboard

Or you can simply “move” the top line, which limits traffic to 15 GB, as shown in Fig. 8. You need to move by hooking the line in the place where the bold dot is located - at the opposite end from the inscription 15 GB. The line moves easily both up and down.

Rice. 8. The traffic limit is set to 15 GB.

We will move the line limiting the traffic limit down, hooking it to the bold point at the top right (circled in a frame in Fig. 8).

Thus, for example, we will set the upper limit at 2.9 GB (Fig. 9). You can also move it by catching the bold dot and the “Warning” line. This line shows at what volume of traffic on Android a warning will be displayed about reaching the specified limit, but restrictions will not be enabled; Android will still have access to the Internet. But when the upper limit is reached (in the version in Fig. 9, this is 2.9 GB), the Internet will turn off.

For those who are too lazy to move the black line up or down, they can simply click on the number next to the “Warning” line to use the on-screen keyboard (Fig. 7) to indicate the amount of traffic at which a warning will be received.

That, in general, is all the wisdom of setting warnings and limiting mobile Internet traffic on Android. It must be said that the established warnings and restrictions apply to Android in any way of using the Internet, be it accessing the Internet on Android, or turning Android into an access point for “distributing Wi-Fi,” using mobile applications with Internet access, using email etc. All traffic will be taken into account by this access restriction control system.

Unfortunately, the traffic that Android counts may not match the traffic that the mobile operator itself counts. In my experience, it happened when Android had not yet limited access to the Internet, but the mobile operator had already sharply reduced the Internet speed or turned it off altogether.

To avoid such a discrepancy (whether we like it or not, mobile operators and Android devices will always count traffic differently), on Android it is useful to set traffic limits a little less than what the mobile operator assumes.

In particular, in Fig. Figure 9 shows the installation of a limit of 2.9 GB with a given limit of 3.0 GB from the mobile operator. With such restrictions set, there will be no conflicts between Android and the mobile operator, and Android will notify in time and then turn off the Internet, without waiting for the mobile operator itself to do this.

The mobile operator MTS is constantly expanding its arsenal with new services, options and tariffs. In today’s article we will talk about the “On Full Trust” function, which allows subscribers to independently remove the shutdown limit when their balance is minus. However, in some cases you may need to disable this feature. If you don’t know how to disable the limit on MTS yourself, we suggest you familiarize yourself with four ways to deactivate the service.

Brief description of the “In full confidence” option

This option allows telesystem clients to make calls with zero balance on their account, as well as receive calls from roaming. It has no hidden interest or additional charges; the subscriber pays only for the minutes and services used on credit.

Immediately after activation, the subscriber will have access to a 300 ruble limit. Subsequently, the amount of lending will increase. The main condition that the user must fulfill is to pay bills on time and return the full loan amount to the television system.

If the user misses the payment date, his number will be automatically blocked until the debt is fully repaid.

Any telesystem client can activate the function. With the exception of corporate clients, as well as subscribers on such tariff plans as:

  • "Cool";
  • "Guest";
  • "Connect".

You can disable or enable the function at any time. Difficulties with deactivation may only arise for subscribers traveling abroad. Detailed information about the operation of the option can be viewed on the official page of the mobile operator.

Payment

Payments on the account must be made every month before the 24th day (from the date of invoice). 2 days -7 days before the payment expiration date, an informational SMS with the amount of debt is sent to the subscriber's number.

To get detailed information about the limit, payment terms and debt, you need to dial the USSD command *132#. After sending the request, the service sends an SMS with account information in the format:

  • “Limit: ...; Amount to be paid: ...; Pay by date.month.year"
  • When the cash limit is exhausted by 75%, a notification with balance data is also sent from the operator’s service center.

The number is automatically blocked by the operator if the amount of expenses on the balance exceeds the limit. Unblocking is possible only after replenishing the SIM card account with an amount that restores the assigned credit limit.

Comfortable communication on MTS!

MTS credit limit - what is it?

resembles a credit card and has certain conditions for use. Among the main ones, a gradual increase in the limit should be highlighted. This happens automatically. If the subscriber regularly repays the debt, then the amount of the debt gradually increases. The service is quite practical and is very popular, because it allows you not to monitor your own balance.

Criteria that a subscriber must meet when connecting:

  • Full payment of debt and no debt.
  • Increased costs for using cellular communications.

To check your limits, dial USSD request *132#. In response, a Push Notification will be sent with the maximum possible amount.

Limits are increased monthly according to the following scheme:

Time period, monthAmount of limits, rub.
0-3300
4-6600
7-9700
103000

To increase your limits, you must start spending more than you did in the previous month. To clarify the current restrictions, you should dial *132*2136# or contact a company employee by phone. 0890.

Control

After activating the service, the initial loan amount is 300 rubles. It increases every month subject to the following conditions:

  • payment for services on time;
  • increase in service costs;
  • the difference between the current and calculated limit is from 50 rubles.

Limit accrual program subject to using the service based on the last three months:

  • up to 3 months — 300 rub.;
  • 4-6 months — 600 rub.;
  • 7-9 months — 700 rub.;
  • from 10 months — 800 rub.

If the subscriber does not pay the bill for MTS services within the prescribed period, the loan amount is reduced. Up to the starting value - 300 rubles. After repayment of debts, a recalculation is performed based on costs.

The limit is fixed and its recalculation resumed using the USSD command *111*2136#. Or in your profile on the website.

What is the MTS credit limit?

But before considering the available methods of disabling, you need to understand what the mentioned service is. Despite the name, it is not associated with a credit card. Hidden under this phrase is the “On full confidence” option, which allows you to use communications with a negative balance, but within the limits of the expense level set by the operator (automatically) or the user (manually).

How to disable the MTS service with full trust?

If you decide to return to the original state of mobile services, you are asked to deactivate the “On full trust” option. This can be done in several possible ways:

  1. Sending a USSD request (with the option service enabled) of the form “*111*32#” + “Call”
  2. Calling the number “0890” + “0” asking the operator on duty to turn off the system
  3. Calling the number “0890” followed by key manipulations that the robot will suggest
  4. Contacting the company office

In general, the question “How to take the limit?” should not confuse anyone, since every subscriber can use such a service. Now you don’t need to worry about your balance suddenly running out: just activate the service and talk with friends and family.

#3 In the mobile application

The “My MTS” mobile application is the same subscriber’s Personal Account, only already built into your mobile phone, so you don’t have to open it in the browser.

You can download the application from your phone's app store - Google Play or AppStore. You can easily close the limit on MTS using the mobile application as follows:

  • Open the app on your phone and log in if necessary. Then find the “Services” block on the screen and open it by touch.
  • In the “Connected” section, click on the “Free” list.
  • Find “In full trust” among the options and disable it.

Who is it useful for?

The service is especially useful for parents who can protect their child’s phone from accidental and unwanted connection to paid services. The service would also be appropriate on the phone of an elderly person who is not very friendly with technology and cannot always understand what certain actions on the phone can lead to.

Unfortunately, there are viruses that can send expensive SMS from an Android smartphone without the knowledge of the phone owner. And although it will stop spending in this case, it will not rid the gadget of the virus. The best remedy is to install an antivirus, at least a free one.

If I connect, will I be able to use short numbers from MTS, the rescue service or, for example, my bank?

Yes, you can use such numbers. “Content Blocking” blocks calls and SMS to infotainment numbers of content providers. The service does not apply to emergency telephone numbers, service numbers of MTS and other telecom operators, mobile banking, and so on.

What can be done?

Below is a list of effective measures that can be taken by those who do not know how to disable the limit service on MTS.

  1. Go to the MTS salon, be sure to take your passport with you. The terms of service can be changed only in the presence of the subscriber to whom the number is registered and the corresponding agreement has been concluded. You will have to explain to the employee the essence of the problem, then he will make a positive decision for you.
  2. Those who are looking for a way to disable the trust limit on MTS can use the standard service in GSM networks. A combination consisting of the following numbers and characters is dialed from a mobile device - *111*32# call. You need to wait for the SMS, the body of which will clearly say that the service has been deactivated.

You can disable the limit on MTS in your personal account - open the Internet assistant tab, select the section “On full trust” - “Disable the service”. Next, follow the instructions, and the limit will be disabled successfully.

Connection/disconnection

To enable or disable the limit on MTS, you need to dial the USSD command *111*32 on your phone and press the call button. Or use your personal account on the offsite: section “Account...” → subsection “Opportunities...”.

Activation and deactivation of the service is free of charge. There is no subscription fee.

For connecting the “On ... trust” option to the SIM card profile, 120 points are awarded, which can be used in the MTS Bonus user promotion (bonus.ssl.mts.ru).

What are the unlimited MTS tariffs in Moscow?

If you talk a lot on the phone with colleagues or companions, it is advisable not to overpay exorbitant amounts of money, but to connect one of the available unlimited tariff plans for MTS LLC to your mobile phone.

Today, MTS store showrooms in Moscow offer each interested client to enter into an agreement for a number of others. Along with similar tariffs, you will have the opportunity to call all MTS numbers in the capital and region completely unlimited and free of charge. A large number of included minutes will give you the opportunity not to worry that your balance may “empty” at a certain minute.

Why do subscribers think about disconnecting?

It is not always connected at the request of the communication user from MTS, recently this application has been used by its clients. After several months of use, some of them notice disadvantages that force them to look for how to cancel the service. The main disadvantages are:

  • the service is built on a psychological basis (knowing that there is a reserve of funds, the subscriber spends more, but the money has to be returned);
  • the SIM card is used by a child who does not control his expenses;
  • the credit limit is increased without notifying the subscriber, and the latter’s expenses increase noticeably;
  • when any paid applications are connected to the SIM card, the subscriber is easily overtaken by going into the red on MTS if you do not track the movement of funds through the number.

How to remove an option? This can be done for free at any time by choosing one of the suggested paths:

  • dial USSD command;
  • call the hotline;
  • send a text message (no fee is charged to the subscriber);
  • use the “Mobile Assistant” or your account on the official portal;
  • perform a shutdown in the operator's department.

Note! The option is disabled automatically if the client does not use MTS communication services for more than 60 days, but payments for periodic use of communication are made from his account every month.

#5 Office visit

Also, disabling the limit on MTS is possible when visiting any communication store of this operator. You will need to approach any employee, present your identification document and ask to disconnect the service. It will take no more than five minutes!

Now you know how to remove the limit on MTS yourself or with the help of support staff. If you still have questions about this topic, you can easily solve them by asking us in the comments.

Deactivation using command

The main disadvantage of these options is the need to connect to the Internet. If a subscriber needs to deactivate the MTS credit limit without using the Internet, it is worth:

  1. Enter the special command *111*32#.
  2. Click on call.
  3. Wait for a notification that confirms the shutdown.

After which the old function will cease to be active, and the client will lose the right to use communications if the account has a minus. But there are also advantages to this: now you can control everything yourself and not think about this service.
