The application is called V-Banking, which can be downloaded on Android or iOS. This is the so-called “Mobile Bank”, which allows you to store all information about payments within one program.
The V-Banking application can also be used by subscribers of other mobile operators, including MTS and Life.

- The subscriber does not need to enter information about the card and number every next time. The data is stored in the system, after which it can be used at any convenient time.
There is no transaction fee. The money comes instantly, but in some cases you have to wait a little. This may be due to the fact that technical work is being carried out on the line.
All payments are secure. To confirm the debit from the card, you need to indicate the code that comes in the response SMS. Thus, a Velcom subscriber can be calm that no one will write off money from his account to unintentionally top up his balance.
Is it possible to transfer money from Velcom to Velcom
Velcom is a large mobile operator that provides its subscribers with a variety of services in Belarus. Naturally, they can use the SIM card not only for making calls or the Internet. Velcom subscribers have the opportunity to top up the balance of other users, which is very convenient when you need to quickly “throw off” money to another number.
Modern mobile users find it very difficult to choose a service provider. That is why various companies vied with each other to offer various favorable tariffs and connection conditions. If we talk about the Velcom operator, it has many convenient tariff plans. For example, the “Comfort” tariff line, which offers good mobile Internet speed and minute packages for calls to other operators.

How to make a translation: two ways
Not so long ago, it was possible to transfer money between the balances of numbers serviced by the Welk operator only when visiting the company’s office. Today this method also works, and in order to use it, you need to come to the office with a passport and details for the transfer.
However, there is a very easy option - transfer money through the phone after connecting the phone to the iPay service.
Important!
This method is suitable for those who want to perform all operations remotely using SMS messages. The main condition is that the balance of the sender’s phone must be topped up with an amount sufficient to complete the transfer.
E-Pay
This is an Internet service that allows you to pay for communication services of the mobile operator Velcom from a bank card. It works on the website via the link. To top up your balance:
- You need to select the “Pay for services” menu item.
- Next is the name of the telecom operator.
- Then the method of replenishment is indicated (by personal account number or phone number), payment information is filled in, and the transaction is confirmed.
Money is credited to your balance instantly. If problems arise, it is recommended to contact the support service, the coordinates of which are listed on the E-Pay website.
Transfer by phone: sending SMS
It is possible to send money to a Welkom phone number in Belarus by sending a message to service number 533. For this, the following format is used: service code*phone number*size of the item.
The first parameter in all cases is 101, and it is indicated unchanged. The second is the recipient's phone number. The size of the transfer is written by the sender independently. Spaces are preserved when entering data.
Transfer conditions and commission
The service is not provided free of charge - a commission fee of 3.5% of the entire transfer is charged.
The commission is additionally debited from the sender's phone account. Sending a message also requires a fee, and here you need to find out the cost at your own rate.
The operation will be completed successfully if the amount of at least 0.1 Belarusian rubles remains on the phone. It is impossible to receive services with a zero balance.
other methods
The options described above do not exhaust the methods of payment for communication services of the Velcom operator. There are several other options that are not used as often.
SMS banking
An additional payment method for Velcom services is provided for Belarusbank cardholders. The option is called SMS banking. It involves topping up the balance from the phone number to which the card is linked.
Registration in the system occurs through a branded ATM. To do this, you need to select the “SMS banking” operation, specify the number and confirm the operation with a one-time password.
List of SMS banking features
Type of transaction | What is necessary | Command to execute |
Velcom balance replenishment | Registration | Oplata [password] [amount] A1 [card or phone number] |
Reference | Registration | Spravka |
Account verification | Registration | Ostatok [password] |
All commands are sent to number 611. In response, you receive a message confirming the operation. In this case, mobile replenishment also occurs instantly.
iPay
This is a special system that is used to top up the balance on Velcom SIM cards. Operations are performed on the website ipay.by. There you just need to select your operator, indicate the number and bank details. Payment confirmation is carried out using a one-time code that comes in a response message.
Step-by-step instruction:
- Log in to the system, any message to number 5533.
- Enter a one-time code on the ipay.by website during authorization.
- Enter the “Payment for services” section.
- Indicate the name of your operator.
- Enter your phone number and payment amount.
- Confirm these actions using a one-time password.
This method is very similar to the method with the E-Pay system. The only difference is in the type of authorization and the name of the service. Otherwise, iPay is as secure a system as one of the company's competitors.
Post offices
Payment can be made in 2 ways:
- at the window through the cashier;
- via terminal.
In the first case, you can also use a bank card or cash.
We recommend that you carry out transactions through the terminal if it is available at the post office. The advantages of this method are: replenishing the balance in cash (paper bills), with a bank card, as a rule, there are no queues, and quick execution of the transaction. Don't forget to pick up your cash receipt.
Step-by-step instructions for paying through the terminal at the post office
On the main screen, select the A1 or Welkom logo.
Choose a payment method: cash or credit card. In our case, we choose the second method.
Enter the phone number (9 digits along with the operator code), and press the “Done” button.
In the next three steps, enter the last name, first name and patronymic, respectively, and click “Next”.
The amount of debt for the previous month or a zero amount will appear on the screen. In the latter case, enter the amount you need in the “Amount” field and click on the “Finish” button.
Check the data you entered on the left side of the screen and if it is correct, click the “Pay” button.
We insert the bank card into the terminal and enter the PIN code.
Upon completion of the operation, wait for the cash receipt from the terminal.
The terminal accepts banknotes in denominations: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 BYN, as well as bank cards. Coins are not accepted.
Possible problems and their solutions
The procedure for transferring money from number to number is normal, so users do not face any particular difficulties. It is important to follow the instructions. But if the payment does not go through, the reasons may be different. For example, the sender did not take into account the commission that the operator charges for the transfer. Or there is less money left in the account than there should be.
Help: if the transfer is not carried out for some other reason, you must contact the operator’s technical service.
Before transferring a certain amount to another subscriber, you need to take into account all limits and commissions. Otherwise, the operator will simply reject the payment. If you need to top up your account, then everything is much simpler here. This can be done through the terminal, from a card or in any other way. And only then dispose of the received amount at your own discretion.
