Multifon is a mobile application, PC software, Internet resource and service of the same name from the Megafon company. The latest redesigned and improved version of the mobile application is called eMotion MultiFon. There is also a version of this service package for corporate clients called “Multifon for Business”.
How does this whole set work and what does it give to those who decide to use it?
The meaning of this entire set of services is simple - this is software with the ability to install a client (application) on mobile devices with an online option for using it on a PC, designed for making calls and sending messages in chats using VoIP technology (the general name for IP telephony options) between users who have installed the same software.
In order to make calls and send short messages to “external” numbers (those who do not use Multifon) from the application or through a web form on the service website, service is provided at special rates after activating the service of the same name.
The difference between Multifon and other similar services is that after registering in the application and connecting to the service, it is linked to the main balance of the mobile number and funds for using the service are debited directly from your account.
Installation, use and registration are available only to MegaFon subscribers and the subscriber registers in the application using his Megafon number.

How to connect?

- Use the company’s personal account, log in and activate the service manually.
USDD command
If the client decides to connect to the cloud PBX from MegaFon using the USDD command, dial the quick connection number * 993 * 521 #. This must be done from a mobile phone registered to a legal entity, because the cloud PBX will be connected specifically to this subscriber. After entering the USDD command, the user will need to complete the service activation procedure; this action will take no more than 5 minutes. Then the VPBX will be connected.
SMS
When filling out an application via SMS, a legal entity must send a text message with code 521 to number 8993. The SIM card must also be in the name of the subscriber company, as in the case of connection through the USDD command. After sending the message, the user must activate the service by replying to an SMS from the mobile operator.
Phone call to the hotline
Another convenient way to connect a cloud PBX from a telecommunications company is to call the sales hotline 8-800-222-61-38. You can call from any convenient number; the cost of the call is free for MegaFon subscribers and is equal to the standard tariff for numbers of other mobile operators. Personal appeal

Setup and management
To set up a MultiFon account, you need to:
- Launch the Zoiper Softphone application.
- After the start menu with dialing appears, select the “Settings” option.
- In the application settings window that appears, select the “Accounts” section.
- The list of accounts must be empty. To add it, you need to select the function in the upper left corner of the screen.
- In the account creation window that appears, select the SIP option.
- Next, maintain account settings that make it possible to use MultiFon services. This includes: subscriber number, host, password for the MultiFon service, etc.
- After filling in all fields, click the “Save” button.
If everything is done correctly, a green check mark will appear in the account field, and the subscriber number will appear in the dialing field.
All IP phones support virtual PBX functionality, with the ability to transfer and hold calls. To record incoming and outgoing connections, there is a Call Recorder feature.
