How does the Re-registration procedure take place?

The user who assumes the right to use the services undertakes to replenish the Electronic Account of the Service with an amount equal to the monthly subscription fee for each subscriber number immediately at the time of signing the application for re-registration and the Agreement.

If a debt is identified for communication services provided to telephone numbers that require re-registration, the debt is paid by the receiving party, regardless of the date the debt arose.

In this case, the amount of debt is initially debited from the Electronic Account of the Service of the party that transferred the rights.

If there are not enough funds in the Electronic Account of the Service of the party that transferred the rights to write off the entire amount of the debt, then the full amount of the debt is written off from the Electronic Account of the Service of the party that accepted the rights.

If the phone number being re-registered was connected, it is closed. The amount of the guarantee fee is 3386.6 rubles. (if it was entered when connecting the service) is returned to the Electronic account of the old Agreement. Connection to a new Agreement is made on the same basis as when connecting a new user.

The balance of funds in the Electronic Service Account of the party that transferred the rights is not transferred, but is returned to the User who transferred the rights of use. Refunds are made strictly after 30 calendar days from the date of closure of the telephone number/Agreement in accordance with the Agreement termination procedure.

ATTENTION! When re-registering, the current settings of services, packages, and options are not saved. The user who has accepted the rights of use must configure/connect services, packages, and options again. Re-registration of telephone numbers serviced under archived tariff plans is not carried out. In this case, the user can select a tariff plan from those available for connection.

We decided to give up the Internet and keep a landline phone.

On Friday we call MGTS and say that we don’t need the Internet. The girl on the other end of the line replies that she is not solving this issue and that a senior manager will call us within 24 hours.

This immediately somehow bothered us - what kind of strange company is there, in which there is some strange procedure for refusing services? Why can’t you disconnect immediately on a call, without a senior manager?

Nobody calls on Friday-Saturday.

On Sunday, a senior manager contacts us and offers to install a free block for 150 days or some kind of “light” Internet for 30 rubles per month.

We refuse.

The senior manager says that he certainly doesn’t decide anything, and in order to give up the Internet you actually need to go to the MGTS office with a passport.

We go to the MGTS office with our passport; the office is closed on Sunday.

We come on Monday, they turn off our Internet, but they say that since today is JULY 1st, they will charge us a subscription fee (500-something rubles) for the whole of July. And they ask why they didn’t advise us over the phone to turn on the blocking so as not to lose money?

Hence the “couple of stupid questions”:

1. Why didn’t the girl on the first call (or the senior manager on the second) explain to us that there is NO NEED TO CALL MGTS BY PHONE, BUT YOU NEED TO GO IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR PASSPORT TO THE OFFICE?

2. Why is it written off per month and not per day?

PS By the way, the Internet is not disabled in our personal account. As if I didn’t have to pay for August as well.

On the first day, the MGTS application does not display this number at all, so it is simply impossible to see the tariff, balances, and so on. Okay, I forgot about this story for a few days and continued using the SIM.

I log into the app this Monday feeling like something is wrong. Surprise:

The promised 350 rubles magically multiplied and turned into 650 rubles . And the unlimited mobile Internet miraculously turned out to be a dull 20 GB per month!

I call support. They promise to look into the issue. Today is Wednesday, in your personal account it says 650 rubles. The month is about to end. This means that the invoice will be issued at this incomprehensibly increased tariff price.

I want to warn you (probably once again, but still): if they call you and offer suspiciously unique and cool tariffs, you should not believe the employee’s stories . Now I understand that everything is logical. Why would they offer you something truly beneficial?

It’s a pity that I didn’t initially record the conversation with the consultant; now it’s not clear how to even prove that they promised one thing, but connected something completely different.
