Portal "State Services": personal account and its capabilities

Name at least one person who would love to stand in lines and contact various state and municipal authorities. That's right, there are none.

Several years ago, in order to optimize communication between citizens and government agencies, the Internet portal “Government Services” was created.

The site received this name because with its help you can order services from government agencies electronically, submit an application to a certain authority, or make an appointment online if it is not possible to receive a specific service in electronic format.

It is possible to use the functionality of the State Services portal only after registration. How to register for State Services is described in detail in another article on our blog, given at the link.

After registration, a personal account is automatically created for each user. How to log into your personal account on the State Services portal is described in a separate blog article.

Today we will talk about how to find your personal account in State Services, what options the service offers to users of personal accounts.

Working with your account on the State Services website will be equally useful for both individuals and legal entities. Depending on the user, in our case an individual, logging into the site is possible in several ways. To authorize, you need to go to the main website of the State Services and go to the “Personal Account” section, where you indicate the mobile number assigned to your account, SNILS or a specially issued digital signature. It is worth considering that after registering an account on the State Services portal, a citizen can use the same account to visit other important websites of organizations: tax, pension fund, GIS housing and communal services, personal website of the mayor of the capital and many others. Therefore, you need to be extremely careful and attentive when entering data and choosing a password. After all, the security of your personal data depends on it.

Login by phone number

You can log in to your personal government services account using your phone number either from a computer or via telephone. To do this, enter your mobile number specified during registration and a unique password into the form for entering personal data for your account. If you are logging in from someone else’s device, then it is better to indicate this with a checkmark under the entered data and click the “Login” button. When logging in from your own computer or phone, for convenience, you can “remember” the specified information; it will be entered automatically by the system.

If you were unable to log in on the first try, you should check that the information provided is correct. There may have been an error when specifying your mobile phone number.

Login to your personal account of State Services via SNILS

The second way to enter your personal account is to indicate the eleven-digit SNILS code in the second tab when entering your personal account. The password will be the same as when entering a mobile phone.

There is no significant difference when entering using these two methods. The main thing is that the information entered during registration matches what you enter when visiting the site again. However, when logging in using SNILS, problems may arise if:

  • an error was made during registration;
  • SNILS is invalid;
  • after changing the name, the insurance policy was not replaced.

Login with digital signature

The last way to securely log into the State Services system is to use an electronic digital signature. This option is most often used by legal entities; it simplifies the process of working with the portal. But ordinary citizens can also use it. True, it requires costs to create the digital signature itself and install an application to recognize the key.

To log in, you need to use a computer and do the following:

  • select a digital signature login method;
  • the system will ask you to insert a flash drive, disk or card on which the key is written;
  • After identifying the key, you will be logged into your personal account on the portal.

Windows Phone account

The owner of a smartphone running on the Windows operating system can use a lot of functions, but only if he has an authorized Microsoft account. To create it, you first need to understand what exactly your personal account gives the user.

Why do you need an account on a Windows phone?

To enjoy all the benefits of your smartphone, you must activate your Microsoft account. As a result, the user has the following options:

  • software and application store;
  • cloud storage service;
  • Xbox, Xbox Music;
  • phone search.

If the phone was purchased in a store, and you have already repeatedly downloaded programs from the application collection, then the recording has already been activated.

How to create an account on Windows Phone

There are two options for creating an account for phones that cooperate with Microsoft. Each of them is convenient and practical in its own way. For example, on a smartphone with a small screen, it is inconvenient to enter data, so the owner of the phone resorts to using a PC, so we’ll start with it.

Account activation via computer:

  1. Go to the account login page. We open it as standard, through a browser.
  2. In the “Create” field, enter an existing phone number.
  3. Create a password and enter it in the field. Then click the “Next” button.
  4. Enter the confirmation code in the appropriate field and click the “Next” button.

Here you can set up a user profile, add a photo and take advantage of additional features available for Windows.

How to register in your personal State Services account?

There are three ways to register on the State Services portal:

  1. Go to the main page of the site and go to the “Register” section. The registration form indicates your first and last name, as well as your mobile and email, after which you receive an SMS with a confirmation code.

Next, you need to fill out a personal profile, where you enter your passport and SNILS information. After which it will be checked by the FMS and the Pension Fund of Russia, which may take several days. At the last stage, you need to go through identification at the MFC, order a password through Russian Post or Sberbank Online and Tinkoff.

  1. For quick registration, you can immediately use the personal accounts of Sberbank, Tinkoff or Post Bank.
  2. The last option is to contact the MFC, where the UZ will register with you and give you a login and password to log in.

Mobile applications

The portal also has a mobile version in the form of an application. It is available for Android and iOS. Download links are available on the government services website.

Scroll down the main page of the portal. Find the “Mobile applications” block, and in it the line “For citizens”. Click on it.

The “Google Play”, “App Store” and “App Gallery” buttons will appear in front of you. Click on the one that suits you.

A description of the application, screenshots of pages, reviews and an “Install” button will appear. Click on it and the “Government Services” application will appear on your mobile device.

The application provides access to basic services. As soon as you open it, you will see all important changes and notifications on the main page in chronological order.

You can log into the application just like the portal - using a login and password. Or you can use your PIN code and fingerprint.

Password recovery

Recovering your account password is quite simple. To do this, under the account data entry form, click on the hyperlink “I don’t know the password” and the system will offer ways to recover it via mobile, by entering passport data, SNILS number or TIN.

After entering the necessary information, a password for one-time login will be sent to the mobile phone registered in the system. Then you will need to change it in the settings. The access restoration procedure may take no more than 15 minutes.

Possible problems during registration

There are several main difficulties that users face:

Types of accounts on the State Services website

By registering, a citizen gains the right to access the government services website, and with it gets the opportunity to draw up documents, pay fines and services, order certificates and join various electronic queues. The more information the client provides on the site, the higher the account level will be, and the more opportunities will be available to him.

  1. If you go through formal registration by entering your first and last name, mobile phone and email, the citizen will be assigned the status of Simplified User Account.
  2. After entering your passport data and SNILS number, you will be assigned the status of Standard UZ.
  3. After registering with the MFC, an authorized bank, or receiving a password through Russian Post, the citizen receives a UZ with Confirmed status.

What does re-registration mean?

It often happens that the user either forgot his login or password, or does not remember both of them combined. Also, a situation often occurs when a person is sure that the login and password have been entered correctly. But at the same time, an unpleasant red inscription still appears: “The login or password has been entered incorrectly.”

In such situations, you should make sure that the login and password are entered correctly. I wrote about how this can be done HERE using the Odnoklassniki social network as an example. The techniques described there for checking a password or login apply to all situations.

A good way out when you have forgotten your password is to click on the “Forgot your password” link. Then, following the instructions provided, you can try to recover your password.

However, some users do not make any attempts to restore their previous data: login or password. They decide that they need to undergo a new registration and the problem will be solved.

The problem with new registration is that the user becomes “new”. What does this mean?

Remember how they used to say at school when a new student came to class: “We have a new kid (new girl)!” With a new registration, all previously accumulated bonuses, points, subscriptions, previously purchased tickets, courses and other “goodies” that were “acquired through back-breaking labor” will automatically disappear. We will have to start all over again, that is, life will go “from scratch.” You will have to again earn karma, authority, bonuses, and other advantages of old clients of the site over new ones.

Alas, with a new registration, as a rule, it is no longer possible to restore those tickets, subscriptions, courses, bonuses, points that were stored during the previous registration.

When you register again, you automatically become “new to the Internet class.” This is probably good if there were problems in the “old” class, the karma was bad and needs to be gotten rid of. But if everything was good, there were merits in the form of some advantages (discounts, bonuses, etc.), then the new registration will safely bury the accumulated successes and life on the site will start all over again.

Features for registered users

The State Services Portal is a wide range of opportunities that a citizen receives simply by registering his personal data. You can receive the following services:

  • book a time to register a marriage or issue a duplicate birth certificate;
  • apply for a replacement of your main or foreign passport;
  • make an appointment with any doctor at the clinic;
  • register a vehicle or obtain license plates for a vehicle;
  • issue a certificate of no criminal record;
  • register for a kindergarten;
  • pay utilities;
  • receive an extract about the pension provided and much more.

And for pensioners, it becomes possible to control their accounts based on accruals from the Pension Fund and find out the latest information about innovations.

Where can I find a QR code in State Services on my phone?

I won’t show you how to install the “Government Services” on your phone. I think you can handle this just fine on your own. If not, then there are many such articles and videos on the Internet, search and install the application. Well, I’ll just show you where to find the QR code in State Services on your phone after you’ve already launched your application and logged into it.

We will assume that you did everything correctly and entered State Services on your phone. Your personal account will look like this.

To quickly find your certificate with a QR code, you need to click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner.

In the search window that opens, type just two Latin letters “qr” (without quotes) and click the search button. This button may look different on different phone models. I have a Xiaomi POCO X3, it looks like the screenshot below.

In the search results, you need to click on the topmost item, which is highlighted in bold: “Information on the results of research and immunization of COVID -19.”

On the page that opens, scroll a little lower to the “Current” . This section will list all your certificates with vaccination dates and expiration dates. Click on the word “View” , it is a link to your vaccination certificate.

A window will open with information about your certificate. Here you can find out basic information about your vaccinations. Scrolling just below, you can find your vaccination QR code.

If you wish, you can download your certificate in PDF format to your phone. It will also contain your QR code.

He could not get into the old account for various reasons. He needed a new registration because he never wrote down the old login and password, did not save it, did not remember it. He is sure that this is an unnecessary, tedious procedure for him.

At the same time, the acquaintance wondered why he had so few friends and why all the friends disappeared in the new account. How will Facebook figure out that this or that person has created several different accounts at once? By the way, if Facebook guesses, it can warn about incorrect actions, since it is advisable for one person to have one single account.

The “Create account” button (number 1 in Figure 5) is intended for creating a new personal page where there are no friends, and everything is “from scratch.” And the “Login” button is intended to enter a personal page that has already been registered, and perhaps there are already friends there.
