How to change the A1 tariff via USSD command, personal account or at company offices

Tariff plan change is a service that allows users to change the current package of options (tariff), in some cases for a fee.

The transition to a new tariff for clients who have changed their service package towards an increase or an equal subscription fee is carried out free of charge , and towards a decrease - for a fee . For subsequent shifts within one month, a fee will be charged.

If another tariff requires a subscription fee, then there must be enough funds in your account to make the payment, which is debited upon connection. If there is no money on the balance, it is impossible to change the package until the required amount is credited.

Changing tariff plan using USSD request

Step 1 . You can switch from one tariff to another by dialing a special short USSD combination *141*3*4# . Type it on the numeric keypad of your smartphone or tablet and press the call button.

In response to your request, you will receive a text message with information about the current package of services, and the ability to view others available for transition.

Step 2 . Press the “Reply” key and send a message with one (number 1).

In response, the system has several lines of TP to choose from. Each category has its own serial number.

  • Comfort;
  • Lemon;
  • For tablets and modems;
  • More.

Enter the desired line number by first clicking the “Reply” button. When you select "More", you will receive an additional list.

Select a plan from the list offered in the return notification.

Step 3 . Remember the TP number, enter the required number and click “Reply”.

Now you will receive a message in which you can find out the parameters of the new tariff and change it directly.

Complete the operation: enter the tariff plan number in the response message and confirm the transition to the new tariff.

What tariffs does the operator offer?

Operator Velcom offers a wide range of tariffs. Any subscriber can choose the solution that suits him. And if you don’t like one tariff, you can find a more profitable replacement.

"Comfort"

There are three varieties in this line, which differ in the volume of services and price: S, M, L. The subscription fee is charged daily in equal installments. Connection of additional Internet options is available. Internet balances are saved for the next month.

"Lemon"

The operator offers this line for children and young people. Subscribers under 26 years of age receive a discount on the subscription fee. There are 3 options available: "Lemon Z", "Lemon Y" and "Lemon X". The entire line includes unlimited calls to Velcom numbers, a VOKA TV subscription, unlimited messengers, social networks and music services. Traffic accumulates - leftovers from last month are added to the new package.

Simple tariffs

Tariff plans with or without a minimum subscription fee:

  • "Starting"
  • "Hello. Calls"
  • "Hello. Calls + Internet."

Advantageous options for those who usually call Velcom numbers and almost never use the mobile Internet.

Special offers

Their peculiarity is the connection of “favorite” numbers with favorable conditions:

  • “Pension” – 1000 minutes for 5 numbers.
  • “Social” - 60 minutes per number.

These options are good for retirees if they rarely make cell phone calls and do not use the Internet on their phone.

With unlimited and large packages

Expensive tariffs for large volumes. Unlimited internet, calls to Velcom, SMS and MMS. Package of 1000 minutes for other numbers.

  • "Business Class". Unlimited on all calls within Belarus, SMS within the Velcom network and mobile Internet. For calls abroad - 300 minutes.
  • On the day of transition, the full payment for the month is debited.

    For the Internet

    Tariffs for tablet and modem: “Unlim S”, “Unlim M” and “Unlim L” with traffic packages. After they are exhausted, the Internet is not blocked, but its speed decreases. In the first case – up to 512 Kbps, in the other two – up to 1 Mbps.

    Switching tariff plan in the subscriber’s personal account

    You can change your TP in your personal account, available on the official website of the telecommunications company. To change the tariff, you will need access to the Internet and prior authorization in the system. You can connect to another service package by performing the following steps:

    • Log in to your personal account and go to the Operations with TP and services tab -> Operations with TP and click on “Change tariff plan”

    • You can view the terms and conditions by clicking on the title. To change, select using the “checkmark” on the left and click the “Change” button:

    • Next, confirm all changes made in the system and wait for the current operation to complete successfully.


    Conditions for switching to another tariff

    Before changing your Velcom tariff, first read the rules for changing your tariff plan:

    • You can switch to a new TP any day of the week, but replacement can be made no more than once every 24 hours;
    • before connecting, the user’s account must contain an amount that is a multiple of the one-time subscription fee established on the package;
    • Free switching can be done once a month. In the future, the service will have a certain cost;
    • All unspent packages of minutes and SMS will expire after connecting to a new offer. Therefore, it would be more appropriate to carry out the transition at the end of the paid period;
    • If, before changing the TP, the user activated “Mobile Internet” and the traffic package is running on the number, the MB will automatically be transferred to the new product. This rule applies if the new offer supports this Internet service;
    • if the “Mobile Internet” option is activated on the number, connection becomes impossible;
    • if the subscriber had access to traffic allocated as part of the promotions, he will be able to continue to use it, unless of course this does not contradict the rules of the new tariff plan;
    • immediately after replacing the TP, the user’s “Favorite numbers” will disappear from the phone. You can reconnect your contacts through the ISSA page, or by sending the USSD code *141*3*3#.

    What is included in the tariff?

    Velcom's "Pension" tariff plan has a subscription fee of only 3.85 rubles per month. For this amount, the subscriber can use the following prepaid services:

    1. Internet – 100 megabytes (with tariffs for every 100 kilobytes).
    2. Calls – 1000 minutes to “favorite” numbers . Only other A1 subscribers can be “favorites”. Once 1000 minutes are used up, calls to them will be charged at a rate of 1.64 kopecks per minute. There is no connection fee.

    But a subscriber using the “Pension” tariff of Velcom in Belarus can choose those “favorite” numbers either through the Internet account or directly at the customer service center (including at the time of activation of the tariff plan).

    How to change the tariff

    To change the tariff, use one of the options offered by the operator. This can be done on the Internet from your computer or by sending a command from your phone. If self-management of services is not suitable, contact the support center - by phone or in person at the company’s office.

    USSD command

    This is a convenient way to change the tariff when you can’t access the Internet. The request is sent from any phone, even the simplest one. Commands for managing communication services:

    • *141*3*4# – change tariff plan.
    • *141*2*1# – find out your number and name of the tariff plan;
    • *141*2*3*1# – get information about the Internet tariff (if it is connected to the number).

    After dialing the combination *141*3*4# on the phone screen, press the call button and follow the instructions on the screen. Select a tariff and connect it by pressing the corresponding number on the keyboard. Then confirm your decision.

    Through your personal account on the website

    In order for the subscriber to be able to manage his tariff and services, an Internet subscriber service service, or simply a personal account, has been created. How to use it:

    1. Go to the operator's website.
    2. Click the “Login” button on the right side of the page.
    3. Log in - enter your number and password. If this is your first login, click on the “Register” button.
    4. On the main page of your account, select the menu item “Operations with TP and services”.
    5. Next, “Operations with TP”.
    6. Click on the “Change tariff plan” button.
    7. Select a new tariff from the list and click “Connect”.

    These actions must be confirmed. A message with a code will be sent to your phone - enter it into the line on the screen to complete the procedure for changing the tariff.

    The Velcom service center number is 411. Call this number and ask the operator to change the tariff. Tell the specialist which services are needed and which are not, so that he can advise the most suitable option.

    To change the tariff you will need to dictate your passport details. This is an important condition for confirming identity, because the operator can change parameters only at the request of the official owner of the number.

    At the company office

    Come to any Welkom office. Consultants will help you choose the most convenient tariff for the subscriber. Be sure to take your passport with you - the conditions here are the same as when calling technical support. The subscriber must submit a written application for connection.

    What is Velcom

Since 2007, the Velcom organization has been part of the telecommunications holding A1 Telekom Austria Group, operating in Central and Eastern Europe. Eight mobile operators operate under his leadership. The quality of Welkom's customer service has improved dramatically since it was acquired by the Austrian holding.

    Social and special

    Cheap tariffs with special conditions - a package of minutes is given only to “favorite” numbers:

    • “Pensioner” – 1000 minutes, number of favorite numbers – 5, after the package is exhausted, the cost of a call to a favorite number is 0.0158 rubles/min. Price – 3.70 rub/min.
    • “Social” - 60 minutes for 1 favorite number, 100 MB of traffic, after the package is exhausted, calls to your favorite number cost 1.05 kopecks. Subscription fee – 1.58 rubles/month.
    • “Data transfer” is the tariff for sending SMS. The price of one message is 2.3 kopecks, the monthly fee is 1.71 rubles/month.

    Tariffs are suitable for members of the older generation who do not use mobile Internet and call a limited number of people.

    Validity of a number of services after the shift

    Before changing the tariff, it is worth finding out how the previously connected options will operate after this:

    1. The remaining Internet traffic from the old tariff is canceled, and another package can be used by the subscriber immediately after activation.
    2. The “Mobile Internet” option with active traffic is not deleted if the new tariff offer also has access to it. In this situation, the remaining traffic can be used on another tariff chosen by the client.
    3. Activation of the “Internet for tariff” function is carried out if “Mobile Internet” was not activated on the previously used plan, and if a package was used that is not included in the new offer.
    4. If on the previous tariff the client did not have access to MMS and his own page in the system, after the change he will be able to use them.
    5. Whether bonus traffic is available to a client who has changed the tariff is determined by the procedure for the promotion in accordance with which the Internet was provided.

    Internet only

    The provider Velcom offers customers two categories of tariff plans intended only for Internet use: for phones and for tablets.
    Tariffs of the first category have less information and lower cost. Among them are the following proposals:

    • “Easy” – no prepayment, monthly fee is 1.63 rubles;

    • “250” for 2.72 rubles;

    • “350” – one month for 3.16 rubles;

    • “750” – only the amount of payment changes, it is equal to 5.12 rubles;

    • “1000” – 6.21 rubles are written off every month;

    • “1500” for 8.61 rubles;

    • “3000” – three gigabytes of high-speed Internet for 15.8 rubles.

    The last two items on the list are tariffs that can be connected together with Voka TV. Watching your favorite films and TV shows will cost almost fourteen rubles per month.

    Mobile Internet offers for tablets:

    • “WEB Light” – without the included amount of information, monthly fee – 1.85 rubles;

    • “Start” – five hundred megabytes for 3.16 rubles per month;

    • “4” – four gigabytes, allowing you to fully work online, will cost 8.17 rubles;

    • “Tankers” is a widely advertised tariff for those who like to play online games. There are no restrictions or limits here, and two gigabytes are given for the use of additional services. The tariff will cost 10.57 rubles monthly fee;

    • “8” – standard offer for twelve rubles per month;

    • “10 Voka” – television and high-speed Internet for 15.15 rubles;

    • “No obligation” – included in the tariffs without a subscription fee; you must pay for the provision of the service upon delivery.

    Tariffs that include paid traffic are activated with a discount of 50% of the total amount.

    New customers are eligible to receive a promotional code valid for three months.

    Services

    Subscribers have access to various services designed to make using the operator’s services as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

    The balance of tariff packages is determined using the combination *101*1#. Request information about topping up your personal account – *100*19#. By dialing *131*telephone number #, you can notify the other subscriber that you are waiting to contact him.

    You can find out your Velcom tariff using any of the above methods. The procedure is carried out even without Internet access - for this there is a call center and a USSD command service. As a last resort, if you can’t get through by phone, you can leave a request for feedback or directly on the website.

    Call the support service and visit the company office

    You can resolve any issue regarding the management of an existing SIM card by calling the unified customer service center number - 411. Calls to this phone number are free for all network subscribers.

    The user will be able to make a request and receive information about the active tariff, a list of those available at the time of request, and immediately change the service package to the option of interest. This may take some time because the operator's line receives calls from subscribers all over the country and is overloaded.

    To switch to a different tariff, you can visit the sales office in person. In this case, you must take your ID with you to confirm ownership of the SIM card.
