Mobiuz is a new brand of the UMS operator
Mobile operator UMS on Monday announced rebranding - the company will now operate under the Mobiuz brand, reports a Gazeta.uz correspondent.
Presenting the new brand, the company’s CEO Sobir Aripov noted that the company faces key challenges in the development of the digital economy. They cover not only the traditional functions of a mobile operator, but also new areas of activity. The brand analysis showed that a transformation of the company is necessary to implement the operator’s long-term development strategy.
The rebranding was carried out by Artógraph studio. Studio director Iskander Khaitbaev explained that when working on the visual identity of the brand, the designers were looking for simple solutions.
“We wanted to combine the simplicity of the form with the creative aspirations of the company. As a result, we got an organic combination of two main elements - the brand’s spelling of the word Mobiuz and the beam rising from it,” said Iskander Khaitbaev.
The company associates the rebranding with new goals of covering the entire territory of the republic with an Internet network at the level of developed countries and providing government services through its data processing centers (DPCs).
